rosey has never been a fan of interruptions, it's actually one of her biggest pet peeves. however, she never stops anyone or corrects interruptions because of her anxiety.

rosey was laying down on the black couch in their dorm's living room. jeongin sat on the edge of one of the cushions beside her, controller in hand, concentrating on the game he was playing.

"are you serious!" jeongin sighed and tossed the controller to the empty side of the couch.

he had been kicked from the game by being killed off first, and was frustrated because it was the third time this had happened. jeongin stroked his hair and leaned back against his girlfriend's legs.

he distracted himself from the game when he started talking to her. he complained about his teammates killing him off twice and dying three minutes into the game. she nodded her head while listening, not understanding the frustration levels the game caused.

when she saw him reach for the controller, rosey suggested, "take a break."

"i did."

"a longer break."

rosey leaned forward, sat up, and gently grabbed the controller from her boyfriend hands. when he asked for it back, she shook her head and hid it under the pillow she had been sleeping on for the last few hours.

"you've been playing for hours now and it's stressing you out." rosey expressed concern.

jeongin raised his hands up, "fine, you're right."

the two continued to talk about whatever came to mind. they spent all of their time talking about their favorite cereal, their favorite type of weather, and everything else.

their peace was interrupted when they were both startled by one of the bedroom doors squeaking open quickly. their heads turned quickly in unison to the open door and out walked their fellow members, seungmin and jisung.

rosey quickly calmed down, giving them the benefit of the doubt that they were only leaving their bedroom. after all, rosey and jeongin were hanging out in the living room.

jeongin attempted to restore their conversation. where did they leave things? talking about music? jeongin's five word sentence was cut off at four when jisung started talking to rosey.

"rosey, you know that plushie you have on your bed?" the older boy inquired.

she responded with a nod.

"can i use it to sleep?" jisung asked, "i lost mine yesterday, i think felix took it."

"sure." rosey said, shrugging her shoulders.

he thanked the girl and rushed into the bedroom he shared with the her, aggressively grabbing the plushie off her bed. he returned to seungmin's room and shut the door, going to sleep on the boy's bed despite the fact that he was there to stop him.

"aren't you going to stop him?" jeongin asked, turning to point towards the boy's bedroom door.

seungmin shook his head, "no."

jeongin looked surprised at his girlfriend. when he asked to sleep in seungmin's bed when rosey took his own, seungmin said no every time. even more surprising, seungmin said yes to jisung even though every time jeongin asked, it was on a night when seungmin wouldn't be in the dorms!

"anyway," seungmin drew jeongin back in, "let's play some games in felix's room."

rosey's hand slipped around jeongin's wrist, gently pulling it towards her to intertwine their fingers. he felt her touching him but kept his gaze fixed on seungmin.

"i'm already playing out here." jeongin said.

"but felix has everything set up in his room too!"

jeongin nodded, "play with him in his room, i'll stay out here and you guys can join my game."

seungmin agreed and pranced into felix's room. rosey caught a glimpse of felix's smile as he sat on the floor with his controller in hand, waiting for seungmin. their voices were audible on the other side of the door, as they were eager to test out their new setup.

"here." rosey reached under the pillow for the controller and handed it to her boyfriend.

before taking the controller from her grasp, he asked, "do you want to continue talking? i'll tell them i can join the next game."

rosey laughed as she shook her head, "no, no, play. we had a long conversation before they interrupted, i think that was a long enough break."

a ding was heard on the living room console, notifying jeongin that felix had invited him to join their game's waiting lobby.

jeongin smiled, taking the controller hesitantly and asking again if she was completely sure. she nodded, watching him take the controller and join the others in their game.
