Relaxation. Finally I'm at peace. As soon as I sit down I here my mother call for me. "Y/N!" I sigh in frustration as I walk downstairs to meet my mother at the end of the hallway. I look at her in confusion as both our servants are standing next to her in an orderly fashion.

"It is time Y/N." My mother says with excitement all over her face. "I'm confused mother" I say. "Well since today is your 17th birthday, we are going to shop for your first corset!" My mother says while she signals one of the servants to get the carriage prepared.

"Mother you know I don't quite fancy corsets, I've told you many times have you forgotten?" I've told her many times but she never really excepted any opinions that I've had in that matter. She is a very self centered woman and lives on society's standards. I love her to death but she is very stubborn.

"Yes honey I know but it is crucial that a young girl must keep her elegant shape to find a prince." She says proudly. "But shouldn't you find-" I was cut off by the sound of horses outside our doors. "Come now darling there is no time to waste! We must find the best corset for you." She says as she walks out the door into the carriage.

I follow behind her into the carriage and we head off to town.

We arrived at the boutique.

Right when I walk in a tall but soft figure hit me. I look up to see it was Cedric Diggory. He is one of the royal family's here. His father is very wealthy but one of the most humble family's I've met. "Oh I'm so sorry please let me help you up!" Cedric says as he grabs my hand to pull me up from the ground. "Oh no need to apologize Diggory, I wasn't looking where I was going"

"It's nice to see you again how have you been?" He asked. I admire his face for a minute. He has honey for eyes, it's really easy to get lost into them.

"Y/N?"

I was pulled back into reality. "Oh! Sorry, I got lost for a second. My apologies but I really should get going now. It was lovely meeting you again." "Of course. I will let you attend to your business now. Good bye Ms.Berkshire." He says charmingly. "Good bye Diggory."

I slowly get out of his honey trance as my mother calls for me. "Y/N! I have found the perfect corset for you dear." She says as she hold up a pearl white corset with silk lining and unique design patterns with silk ribbon. "I actually do quite like this one mother." I say surprisingly. I really did like this one. It wasn't too bold or plain. It was almost perfect. "I'm glad you like it dear. I do have impeccable taste after all." She says as she walk over to the owner of the shop to pay.

We finally arrive back home after a long day.

I change into my night gown and sit in the living room. I decided to read a book to relax my brain. I start to wonder off the pages and to Cedric Diggory. I cringe at the sight of me bumping into him. I was interrupted by my little sister Catherine.

"Mother told me all about that Diggory boy that you saw at the boutique."

My eyes widen at the fact she has the information easily at hand. "Isn't it your bedtime?" I say annoyingly. She looks at me with a smirk on her face. "You fancy him don't you?" She stands in front of me leaning down at my level. "Whoever told you that is lying. I don't fancy him." I say with attitude and my eyes not leaving the book.

She then snatches the book clean out of my hands. I try to snatch it back but she ran away with it. Probably to Mothers room. She always so sneaky like that and surprisingly has a lot of information. She scares me a bit, but she is quite funny sometimes.

I wake up to the sound of chatter. "There she is" My older brother Lorenzo says while eating breakfast. I stand up to realize I fell asleep in the living room. I wasn't bothered just confused a bit.

"Come on Y/N come eat breakfast we have much to do today." My mother says. "Wheres father?" I say curiously. "Oh you know him, always worried about the other kingdom more than his own family." She says as she serves me a plate of food.

I sit down to eat. "So what's going on with that Diggory boy Y/N." Lorenzo says while his mouth half full with food. "Catherine!" I shout as she runs off giggling. I roll my eyes as I continue to eat. I finish my breakfast and stand up. "Mother, I am going to be in the gardens for the afternoon." "Okay darling."

I head out to the gardens with a book in hand. I walk over to one of my favorite reading spots, a beautiful willow tree that's been on our family grounds for centuries. I admire the detailed bark on the tree. I climb on one of the branches and lean my head back.

I start daydreaming off into the clouds. Soon enough I was interrupted by a soft voice. To my realization it was Cedric. "I hope I didn't interrupt a deep thought." He slightly chuckled with a slight smile on his face. "Oh don't worry I was just reading." I replied with a warm smile.

"May I join you?" He suggested. I nod my head in agreement. He swiftly climbs up and sits across from me on the tree. I nervously smile and look down at my book trying to avoid his honey trance.

"You know you really are beautiful in the sunlight." He says softly while staring at the sky leaning his head back. I look back in complete shock. It was quite obvious that he fancy's me but I would never guess he would tell me that easily. He looks back at me.

"I want you to go to the ball with me." I stare blankly for seconds then get snapped back to reality. "I would love to go with you Cedric." I say with a confident smile. "Perfect. I'll see you then Ms. Berkshire." He says as he jumps off the tree walking away with a smile. He is a very handsome boy so I don't regret saying yes. I'm quite excited to be honest.
