After the encounter that had occurred, they both headed towards the door, stepping out of it making sure to look apart.

They both stepped out, Blair shutting the door to her home, before looking around.

Anyone could be watching.

The area had hit Blair again, feeling all the extra emotion and intensity that lay in the air.

Fear, anger, sadness, betrayal.

Everything was clashing together like thunder and lightning and no one could do a thing, else they'd be killed.

No one could have a say.

And it was all due to Jeanine not getting what she wants so she felt the need to have to change that.

Bitch.

"This can't happen, this needs to stop!" a random abnegation women cries.

"I agree," Blair muttered to herself.

They both walked from around the corner, emerging into a small group of dauntless.

They snapped back on their act, eyes forward, back straight.

Four was in front of Blair, looking down to the ground slightly as they tried to pass Max and Eric.

Eric stopped Four, standing in front of him.

Blair walked ahead, stopping and waiting for him afterwards.

"The legendary Four," Eric smirked.

"A mindless drone," he continued.

Blair now faced Eric's back, watching carefully as to what Eric was doing.

"You were first in your class. Now you're...nothing," Eric teased.

He had the audacity to call Four a nothing, Eric you got the wrong fucking person your the nothing. This was Blair's thought, a thought she really wanted to say.

Four's eyes grew dark with anger, and his eyebrows tightened as well as his jaw, the occasional loosen on his jaw.

Eric rose his eyebrows, giving a smug laugh.

He looked at Four once more before he moved on.

But Four didn't, he didn't follow his script.

Eric must have recognised this as he stopped and looked at Max before looking at Four.

He didn't move like he was supposed to.

And now he was going to die.

Eric walked over to Four his feet hitting against the stones harshly as he did so.

Max stepped forward a few steps watching the scene unfold, he looked at Eric with a confused expression.

"What?" Max asked.

"Think he might be...?" Max added.

"There's one way to find out," Eric said staring at Four.

Oh no.

This was gonna go wrong.

What was Eric's new plan?

It was as if Eric had heard the thoughts inside of Blair's head, as he cocked his gun, aiming it at Four's head.

"Say goodbye asshole," Eric smirked.

Oh no you didn't.

"Goodbye," Blair spoke up cocking her gun and now aiming it at Eric's head.

To this, Max turned his gun at Blair also cocking it, Four doing the same to Max.

"Move and you die," Four spoke fast, hitting the barrel of his gun lightly against the temple of Max's head.

"The stiff?" Eric chuckled looking at her.

"Surprise," she exclaimed sarcastically.

"Two stiffs," he growled looking at Four, "two dead stiffs."

Eric knocked his barrel also onto Four's temple lightly.

Blair's jaw tensed at his action, fighting the urge to not shoot him.

If she did, she'd also be dead as well as Four.

"You can't let a single divergent slip through, this is what happens," Max sighed.

"Well I could say the same about dauntless really, I mean c'mon Jeanine? Really how low can you guys get?" She scoffed earning glares off of Max and Eric but a smirk off of Four.

"She's not gonna shoot me," Eric smiled.

Oh how wrong he was.

Blair smirked, "wow Eric, you really do underestimate me."

Eric pushed her gun down, Blair not hesitating to shoot him in the leg, making sure she hit him twice.

Eric fell to the floor, clutching his thigh.

Before Max could make a move, Four beat him to it. He knocked his gun against Max's arm before knocking it against his face, making him fall to the ground with a thud.

"Run!" Four shouted.

Blair ran with Four reaching the end of the houses, another dauntless man stepped out after hearing the commotion, but before he could do anything Blair shot him in the heart.

Little did she know, Max had stood up and shot out some bullets.

One managed to jab her arm, piercing right through her skin, and coming out the other end, flying to God knows where.

A warm liquid which she guessed to be her blood made it's way down her arm.

They turned the corner, where the was now safety, at least for a while.

She groaned, biting her tongue.

"You were hit?" Four asked, pulling her in by the waist, hugging her, protecting her.

"Yeah," she squeezed her eyes shut.

She must've bit her tongue a bit too hard as a metallic taste swished around her mouth, gliding along her taste buds.

Safety was no longer available, two dauntless people came out of a corner.

"Right there! Don't move!" They shouted, guns raised.

Well shit.

Four gripped her waist lightly, sort of in a protective way.

Then from behind them stood Max and a random dauntless leader.

"Drop your weapons," Max ordered them.

They were out numbered.

There was no escape.

And in this situation, they had to obey.

The gun slipped through Blair's fingers and onto the floor, bouncing a few times.

Four copying her actions.

They were soon to rush over to them, putting her and his arms behind their backs, holding them making sure they can't escape.

Now they were gonna die.

They walked them across abnegation, purposely being rough.

Like they despised them because they were divergents.

Four was in front of Blair, grunting in anger.

Blairs jaw muscle moving.

She was mad, no forget that, she was fuming but she was also disappointed.

Disappointed within herself.

She could've done this, they could've done this.

They could've won this.

They were doing so well.

If it wasn't for Eric being the usual prick  and had just left her and Four alone, nothing would've happened.

But it did.

And she couldn't change the past, she just had to focus on what was going on now and what was going to happen.

She refocused back onto the outside world, noticing how they approached a house.

They took Four in first, then dragging her in the house roughly.

They didn't bother to miss the bullet wound in her arm, continuously pressing it making her squirm in pain.

Once they were inside, Blair took in her surrounding noticing Erudite and Jeanine, no surprises there.

Jeanine turned around to look at the both, trailing her eyes up and down both of them, disgust riddled over her face.

"Your face will stick like that you know," Blair let out a laugh.

Jeanine scrunched her face up in anger.

She walked towards them, her eyes fixed on Four.

"Tobias Eaton," his jaw locked and his nose flared.

"It's Four," he said through gritted teeth.

She raised an eyebrow before looking at Blair, trailing over her face, "and you...Blair. I thought it was intellect I was sensing in you."

"Maybe your not as smart as you think you are," Four added making Blair laugh and nod.

"Let's get down to the real problem," Blair spoke, anger loathing her voice.

"And that is?" Jeanine asked placing a hand on her hip.

"Like how you're attacking all of these innocent people," she nodded her head back towards the window, outside.

"Innocent people?" Jeanine scoffed, "abnegation, if left unchecked will destroy the faction system, same can be said about both of you," she finished glancing at them both.

"Since you want to talk about who will destroy what let's talk about you...and erudite how if left supposedly unchecked will ruin the faction system no wait will ruin our lives, will ruin freedom. In conclusion will ruin everything," Blair wasn't very political but she knew what was happening here and she wasn't going to stand here and watch her destroy lives and families.

Jeanine nodded her head, "you need to watch your mouth young lady."

"No."

Four chuckled, a proud smile covering his face.

"Besides, someone has to stop you. If we don't, peace will be lost," she fake pouted.

"It's already been lost, you destroyed it," Four spat.

"Human nature destroyed it, those of us who have the vision to see it, are called upon to protect the rest," she tried to correct.

Blair just burst out laughing getting multiple stares and glares, she laughed for a little while before composing herself again.

"Ah, Jeanine always somebody else's fault, but never your own. Such a narcissist," Blair nodded.

"I'm impressed though, the speech, the playing god, well at least trying to, however someone will take that role over so just be careful," Blair warned.

Blair was gonna stop this one way or another.

She didn't know how but she just knew.

"We will restore the peace-" Blair cut Jeanine off.

"If this is your version of peace then there is seriously something wrong with you," Blair nodded.

"And this time it will last," Jeanine finished her sentence with a harsher tone.

"And what if your wrong?" Blair challenged Jeanine.

Jeanine just went silent, she had no words.

However she had actions.

She had walked over to Four giving Blair a dirty look as she did so.

"Bring him with us," she told her 'guards'.

Jeanine walked over to Blair next, scanning her body.

Her eyes then lay upon the open wound in her shoulder. A quiet sigh of relief fell from Jeanine's lips as she pressed her fingers hard into her bullet wound.

Blair wriggled angry, if one person was to not touch her and get away with it, it would be Jeanine.

"Awh, she's injured," fake sympathy rolled off her tongue once again.

"Her results would be unclear. You can get rid of her," Jeanine nodded smirking as she saw Blair's face drop.

"Alright," the guard spoke.
