I can't breathe...

A/N: Sooo, as you know I'm currently editing this book because it didn't turn out the way I like it so I'm adding this chap to make it seem more logical (this chap is a somewhat prologue)

„Ena", little Akito said: „I can't breathe".

„Hah?! What do you mean? You look totally fine"

The boy pointed at his neck, where a collar like string wrapped itself around him tightly.

„It's too tight. Can you loosen it a bit?", he asked.

„There's nothing there, idiot", she rolled her eyes.

„Can't you see it?", Akito angrily looked at his older sister: „Do you need glasses?"

„My eyesight is perfectly fine! You're probably just hallucinating or something"

With that, Ena stood up and left Akito alone in the living room.

What Ena didn't know is that Akito wasn't lying or playing games. Something is wrapping itself around his neck, growing tighter and tighter each day. Since nobody would believe him, he retreated back to his room, where he would sit in the corner of his room, desperately trying to remove that ‚thing'. It was tight, tighter than he ever wanted. He never understood why nobody could see it. This ,thing' haunted him since he was a very, very young boy, but it was never this tight. He even tried to cut it open with his scissors, but with no success. He felt like as if someone was trying to choke him, he couldn't breathe.

He stood up and ran over to the toilet, hanging his hand over the toilet seat and started vomiting. Why was this happening? His mother heard the noise and ran upstairs, trying to help the poor boy. After that, they went to the doctor.

„I'm sorry, but we couldn't find the reason for these sudden symptoms. An illness is not the case. Does he have a fear of heights or something that could trigger vomiting?", the doctor asked.

„No. Not that I knew", the mother worriedly replied while hugging Akito.

Somehow, the ‚collar' loosened up a bit, Akito could breathe normally again.

„Uhm... well there is this collar that is trying to choke me...", Akito said.

„Hm? A collar? Tell me, what does it feel like?", the doctor pulled out his note book and pen.

Still, they couldn't find out what the problem was. The doctor suggested Akito to rest a bit and to see what will happen.

Still, that collar wouldn't leave Akito alone.

Year after year, Akito's life went on like this, pure torture and pain. A void, hollow feeling dominated his mind, until one day, a certain someone came into his life. Every time he would look at him, butterflies would flutter in his stomach and the collar would loosen a little bit. So, Akito befriended the boy. He loved spending time with him so much, that his sad life finally found joy. Sometimes he would even forget that he had that collar around his neck.

But, only being able to see him every day was not enough for Akito. Never enough. The feeling of wanting him with him turned into an  unhealthy addiction. It made him crazy and obsessed over him. He wanted the boy so bad, he would do anything to make him his.

Soon, he will be his and nothing will break them apart. It will be just he, him and no one else.

Question: Akitoya or Touaki?
