Chapter 25: The Final three

I look around the cabin. The only guy left in the cabin was Owen. I kinda missed the rest, even though some were annoying.

But it was an annoyance that you got use to. But, things change. Chris called us all to do dramatic final three confessionals.

I went after Gwen.

/"Well. My experience here was bad and good. I'd say it had some good moments. But lots of it was just annoying challenges. And don't get me started on the food. What I enjoyed the most. Probably hanging out with my best friend. And eliminating Heather. What I'll be remembered for. My great personality." I said.\

We meet up at a place with three bleachers and over the bleachers are flags with our faces on them.

Everyone that was eliminated was here.

"Now It's time to welcome back the 20 campers who did not make it to the finals."

"Hey, guys. Nice to see ya!" Owen said. I was trying not to blush around DJ.

"Would everyone who's walked the dock of shame and left the camp on the boat of losers take a seat in the peanut gallery of failure?  The side you choose should represent who you would like to cheer for in today's final competition." Chris said.

The only people in my corner were DJ, and Harold.

"Gwen, Derrick, Owen, this is your chance to tell is what would you do with the money if you won and why you deserve it." Gwen went first.

"Well, I guess I'm pretty proud of getting this far. I mean, maybe if I can survive here, the rest of high school won't be so bad." Izzy then burst out laughing.  Then apologized. "Well, I'm always a girl of my word, and I did promise to split my money with Owen. But that would still leave me a ton of cash. I guess I'd go traveling and then go to a university to study art history."

Leshawna then cheered for her.

"Wow, that's sweet.... boring, but sweet. Derick?"

"Um.... Well,I guess after I finish High school I would use the money to go to college.  Then I guess I'd become a doctor of some sort." I guess.

"Boring, Owen. How about you?"

"I'd throw the biggest, hugest, sickest party and everyone here is invited. Booyah!" He yelled. His section cheered. Lots of people left Gwen's section. And Harold left mine. Little traitor.

"At least all of you aren't total sellouts." Gwen said as I nodded.

"Oh, oh, and I forgot.... it'll be on a yacht!" Lindsay then left Gwen's section and went to Owen's.

"All right, It's time for the final challenge,  the rejected Olympic relay race. Each of the three parts was pitched to the committee,  but sadly rejected as an Olympic sport. First, each of you have to put on one of these." He said tossing us farm hats.

"Dressed as a cow, chicken, and sheep, run to the first location and shimmy up the pole to retrieve your flag. If you don't have your flag, don't bother coming down that pole. Next, you will cross a 300 meter balance suspended across a massive gorge while carrying an eagle's egg."

"Oh, is that all?" Owen asked.

"No... below, your friends, the rare but real man eating sharks."

"You just had to ask." Gwen said to Owen.

"Good luck guys. If I had to lose to anyone here, it'd be one of you two." Gwen said.

"Same here." I said.

"Aw, thanks. I hope you two lose to me too." Owen said. Me and Gwen both exchange looks.

"On your Mark's, get set, GO!" Chris yelled as we all begin ringing to our poles. I begin climbing the pole, then slipped off.

I rubbed my head.

"Need help?" I looked up to see DJ.

"Yeah. Sure."

I stood on his shoulders, and jumped onto a higher part of the pole. I grabbed my flag!

"I got it!" I yelled reaching both my hands up. But then I fell off the pole. DJ caught me.

"Dude! Focus." DJ said.

"Right, got it." I said.

I begin dashing to the next obstacle. Gwen wasn't too far behind.

When I made it I picked up an Eagle's egg. Me, Gwen, and Owen begin crossing together.

Giant birds were trying to attack us. Heather then took off Justin's shirt to hypnotize Us. Well it didn't work on me.

If it was DJ, then it might of worked. So, she just put me in first place. Trent broke Gwen out of the trans.

I put the egg in the nest and quickly dashed off.

"Nice work Derick. Your in first." DJ said running along side me.

"Thanks, it try hard." I said.

We continued running.

"So, what have you been doing on your time off the show?" I asked.

"Well. After elimination.  I was sent to a professional Island with the rest of the campers. And they had actual food there to."

"Wow.  Lucky. I'm staring to wish I forfeited the game earlier."

We continued to run and talk.

"Hey do you smell that?" DJ asked.

"Yeah, I do. It smells like brownies." I said.

I then heard loud thumping.

"Huh? If I didn't know any better I think that sounds like..." I then turned around to see Owen running.

"Run!" DJ yelled at me. I was running as fast as I could, but Owen was getting close. He was right behind me and getting closer with every second.

I backflips over his head before he ran me over and landed on my knees.

DJ came over.

"You okay?" DJ asked.

"Yeah but I think I just been beaten by Owen." I said.

Then Gwen came.

"Why'd you stop running!?" She asked.

"That's why." I pointed to see Owen, who had already had won.

"Oh. Man."

"Yeah, we loss."

"But hey, at least we're tied for second." Gwen said helping me off the ground.

"Yeah. I guess we are." I said.

" At least we still beat Heather." Gwen said as we both laughed.

We all went to the elimination ceremony for one last time.

"Here we are at the last bonfire ever." Chris said."After 8 brutal weeks, it is my pleasure to announce the winner of Total Drama Island: Owen!" Everyone except Heather cheered.

Owen received a giant check.

"Party next week everyone!" Owen said.

The guys then had something planned for Chris. They threw him in the water.

"So, you coming to the party?" DJ asked me.

"Yeah. Sure." I said.

AN: Yep, Posting Two chapters in a row! Sorry I couldn't post last week. I got caught up in family drama, and school work. But, here it is. I don't know how to end this note. Hehe.
