The Fight

(BASED OFF A HEADCANNON BY laziestloserr)

Red Leader gives the signal, and the soldiers attack. The Green Rebellion had already gotten close, as gunshots and screams rang out through the air. Edd tried his hardest to help anyone he could, avoiding injuring himself as well.

He suddenly heard a pained yelp, and turned his head to find Eduardo on the ground, clutching his knee.

"My knee!"

"EDUARDO!" Edd called out, running through the gunfire and dragging Eduardo to somewhere safe.

Edd ripped some cloth from his pocket, and bandaged Eduardo's wound. "Stay here, it's not safe-"

"No way! I didn't befriend you just to get this far! I'm gonna fight, Edd!"

Edd sighed, looking at the ground in despair, thinking. He didn't even notice Eduardo until he patted him on the shoulder.

"Edd, I'm not doing this for me. I'm doing this for Jon. Remember?"

Edd turned and looked at Eduardo, who could stand, but his knee was slightly bent.

"Please, let me fight. I need to avenge my friend."

"Fine. But be careful. I don't want to lose another friend."

Friend.

In the base, Laurel had gotten her gun and went over to shoot alongside Tom and other soldiers. Tord watched from the sidelines, grinning evilly at how many rebels' blood was spilled. Tom held an arm in front of Laurel before she got close to the balcony.

"Watch out!" Tom yelled as a greenade (eyy) was thrown into the balcony, and everyone scattered before it blew. Tord's grin turned into a frown as he winced. His eyebrows furrowed in anger as he demanded the soldiers start to shoot again.

Laurel and the others did as told, and shot more Green Rebellion members down. Soon, ammo ran out, and Laurel also ran out of refills.

"I'm going for more ammo!" She called out, the other soldiers nodding in affirment. Laurel went down into the base, quickly slamming doors open and running down stairs.

A click was heard as she refilled her gun, and Laurel was about to head back when she heard the stairway collapse.

"Oh, bloody hell!" A greenade had made its way inside, and blown up the only exit from the storage room.

"Well, guess I have to break a window!" Laurel made her way to a window, near the back of the room and smashed it, shards of glass landing outside. She jumped through and landed on her feet, gun in hand. She made her way around the perimeter of the base, until she felt herself bump into someone.

Quickly turning, Laurel had found that she bumped into a familiar face.

"Laurel?"

"Eduardo?"

"KILL HIM!"
