"Tonight is a full moon." Elijah started. "We should assume that Klaus is prepared to break the curse." He stood in front of the small group of three, standing strong and confidently. The rest of them were practically nervous wrecks, Prim stood behind Elena, who sat on the edge of the couch across from Stefan.

"Elena said the sun and the moon curse is fake. That it's actually just a curse placed on Klaus?" Stefan questioned, wringing his hands together.

"Klaus is a vampire born of a werewolf bloodline. The curse has kept his werewolf aspect from manifesting. But if he breaks it, he'll be a true hybrid." Elijah explained.

"Then why are we letting him break the curse?" Damon spoke loudly as he entered the room. "We could kill him today, with Bonnie."

"Here we go." Prim rolled her eyes.

"No. Bonnie can't use that much power without dying," Elena explained obviously.

"I'll write her a great eulogy." He scoffed.

"It's not an option Damon." Elena snapped, glaring at him. Damon shook his head at her, tensing his

"Alright." Prim interrupted. "How do we break this curse?"

"We'll the ritual itself is relatively straightforward. The ingredients, so to speak, you already know." Elijah started, walking around Damon.

"The moonstone," Stefan spoke up.

Elijah nodded at him. "A witch will channel the power of the full moon to release the spell that's bound within the stone. After that, Klaus, being both werewolf and vampire will sacrifice one of each."

"And where do I fit into it?" Elena questioned, her leg bouncing.

"The final part of the ritual." Elijah walked over to a table, picking up a wooden box. "Klaus must drink the blood of the doppelgänger..." he paused, looking between them all with a look of reluctance. "To the point of your death."

Elena seemed to freeze, staring blankly at Elijah. Damon frowned and tilted his head towards the brunette. Prim sucked in a shaking breath, her eyebrows pinching. Stefan ran his hand over his face, his other grabbing Elena's wrist. "And that's where you come in." Elena nodded, confidently.

Elijah pulled the lid of the box open, pulling out an old bottle. "This is an elixir that I acquired some five hundred years ago for Katerina. It possesses mystical properties of resuscitation."

Elena tilted her head in confusion. "So I'll be dead?" She questioned.

"And then you won't." Elijah shrugged.

Prim made eye contact with Damon from across the room, reluctance practically oozing from them. "That's your plan?" Damon snapped. "A magical witch potion with no expiration date?"

"How do we know if it even works?" Prim spoke up, her eyes sceptically examining the elixir.

"You wanna come back to life, what about John's ring?" Damon continued.

"Those rings only work on humans. A doppelgänger is a supernatural occurrence. Odds are the ring won't work." Elijah explained calmly, placing the bottle down.

"And the elixir? What are the odds on that?" Prim questioned, her face twisted and eyes glancing down to Elena periodically. "What if it doesn't work?"

Elena turned around to look at her, nodding gently. "Then I guess I'll just be dead." She spoke softly, Turing to look at Damon again.

Damon shook his head angrily, storming out of the room and bumping past Elijah.

Elena sighed. "Do we know if Klaus has everything he needs to do this? Does he have a werewolf?"

"Klaus has been waiting to break this curse for over 1000 years. If he doesn't have a werewolf, my guess is by tonight, he will." Elijah nodded, taking a seat.

"Get out!" Jenna shouted. Prim's head snapped up from her book. She quickly placed it down and sped down the stairs, stopping at the sight of Jenna pointing a crossbow at Alaric.

"Jenna. Jenna." Alaric panicked, backing up to the wall with his palms raised. Prim came and stood by Jenna, glaring at the man in front of them.

"Get out!" Jenna shouted again, causing everyone in the house to come running to them.

"Jenna put the crossbow down, okay? It's me." Alaric attempted.

"What's going on?" Elena questioned as she approached.

"Well if you can't tell, alari-Klaus is in the house again and Jenna is now Hawkeye," Prim explained.

"Hawkeye is a bow and arrow," Stefan informed her with a wince.

Prim spun around to look at him. "Really?" He nodded. "Damn it." She whispered.

"It's me. I swear, okay. He let me go. Klaus let me go." Alaric rushed out.

"Prove it." Damon probed.

Alaric shook his head. "Okay. Uh, the first night you and I spent together, Jeremy walked in right when I was—"

"It's him." Jenna sighed, cutting him off and lowering the weapon.

Prim opened her mouth with a large smile and raised eyebrows, she turned to look at Elena and Stefan, both looking equally shocked at the other. Prim snorted out a laugh and Damon patted the teacher on the back. "Poor Jeremy." She laughed, taking the crossbow off Jenna.

"Why did he let you go?" Stefan asked.

"He wanted me to deliver a message. The sacrifice happens tonight." Alaric told them, a frown on his face.

⊱{✾♡✾}⊰

"So you don't remember anything that happened?" Stefan questioned Alaric, pacing on the rug.

"No. It's like I blacked out, and woke up three days later." Alaric shook his head. "Katherine was there."

"She's under compulsion. Damon snuck her some vervain but she can't leave until Klaus tells her she can." Prim explained while fiddling with her daylight ring, observing it like it was the most interesting thing on earth. In truth, she was just a bit bored.

"Where is Damon?" Elena questioned.

"I saw him go upstairs." Elena nodded and stood from her chair her footsteps echoing away.

"So, what else did I do?" Alaric questioned in a sigh, looking around at everyone in the room. "Because my ribs and stomach are completely covered in bruises."

"Oh. Stefan beat you up." Prim shrugged. "You deserved it. You pulled a knife on Jenna told her about the supernatural and threatened me an hour before."

"Of course I did." Alaric sighed, shifting uncomfortably.

"Yeah, we all hated you." Prim continued.

"Well, not you but..." Stefan jumped in.

"Same thing." They finished together, causing the room to go silent. Stefan then tensed, his head tilting to the side before he sped away. Prim frowned and followed behind him, running after a series of bangs echoed from Damon's room.

"What did you do?" Stefan shouted. Prim ran into the room. Damon stood by a knocked-over lamp, staring at Stefan who was crouched over Elena on the floor.

"I saved her life." Damon panted. Prim frowned and looked at Elena, blood gathered in the corners of her mouth and down her bottom lip. "Your bent on dying, at least this way I know you'll come back."

"As a vampire!" Stefan shouted, standing up and threateningly walking closer to Damon. "She'll come back as a vampire."

"It's better than nothing else."

Prim shook her head and knelt next to Elena, rubbing a hand over the girl's back while glaring up at him. "How could you, of all people, take that choice away from her?" Prim raised her voice.

"Go ahead, wish me an eternity of misery. Believe me, you'll get over it." Damon spoke.

Stefan ran at him, pushing him backwards. Damon crashed into the wall beside the broken lamp. He jumped up, grabbing a broken bit of wood. He sped over to Stefan, pushing him against the wall with the bit of wood pressed against his neck. "Admit it. You just wish you had the balls to do it yourself."

Prim rushed over, wrapping her arms around Damon's neck and jumped on his back. With legs wrapped around him, she tugged him backwards. The two fell backwards. She slid around to his front, arms pinning down his wrists and shoes digging into his thighs. "Stop it!" She shouted. Damon growled and shot his head up, his forehead colliding with her nose. Instinctively, her hand shot up to it. Damon, now with a free hand, grabbed her waist and pushed her off him.

Stefan delivered a blow to his face as he stood back up. He punched him repetitively. Harder. Harder. The crack of Damon's jaw echoed away as Stefan carried on. His final blow made Damon fall to the floor. Prim clicked her nose back into place and shot back up. Stefan grunted and staggered towards Damon. Prim watched as Damon grabbed the discarded piece of wood from the floor and spun around. She sped towards Stefan, pushing him out of the way; screaming out as the wood was lodged into her lower chest, the wood scraping against the bottom of her heart.

Damon gasped as he looked at her face, eyes widening in shock. "Prim-"

Elena and Stefan rushed over. Elena grabbed the girl under her arms, pulling her backwards and away from Damon. Stefan rushed towards Damon, growing as he attacked him even more profoundly than before. Blow after blow. And Damon took it. Stefan grabbed him by the throat, slamming him into the wall. "Go!" He shouted, throwing stepping back. "Get out before I kill you." He whispered venomously.

"What the hell going on!" Alaric shouted as he and Jenna ran into the room.

"Get him out of here," Elena repeated, lowering a gasping Prim onto her knees. Alaric ran over to Damon, grabbing his arm. Damon shook his arm away and glared at him, making Alaric back up his raised hands as Damon slowly walked away.

Stefan knelt in front of Prim. "I'm gonna pull it out, okay." He spoke softly, his hand coming to rest on her neck, his thumb rubbing her jaw for comfort. Prim loudly groaned as Stefan's hand closed around the wood. and nodded, leaning her head on Elena's shoulder.

"Okay, Jenna. Downstairs in the basement, there are some blood bags. Got get them. Now, go." Alaric rushed out, watching as Elena and Stefan comforted the girl screaming out. Jenna quickly nodded and tan out of the room.

"Okay? Ready?" Stefan spoke. "Elena keep her still. One. Two. Three." He grunted as he quickly tugged the wood out of her chest. Prim shrieked and fell into Stefan, grunting in agony. Stefan grabbed her and shushed her, gently running his hands through his hair. He pulled her off his chest and grasped her face into his hands, his thumbs brushing away her tears as his eyes hectically scanned over her body. Her lilac dress would now be permanently stained. "I'm okay." She panted while nodding at him, noticing his panicked face.

Stefan sighed and pulled her into him, clutching her tightly. Jenna ran back into the room, her arms overloaded with blood bags. Elena took one from her and passed it over to Stefan, who passed the straw to prim and began squeezing the bag. The blood travelled up the straw quickly. It took no time at all for Prim to finish three bags and regain her strength. "Thank you." She nodded as she finished, looking over to the group of people watching her. "All of you."

"Yeah. Well, we'll be downstairs." Alaric nodded, gently guiding Jenna out of the room with him.

"Elena?" Prim questioned, snapping the girl out of her daze. "Are you okay?"

Elena shook her head, quickly moving to sit next to them on Damon's bed. "How could he do that to me?" She cried. "How could he do that to you?"

Stefan sighed. "Damon would never intentionally hurt Prim, he was going after me." He explained.

Prim shook from Stefan's hold, looking at them both. "I'll let you two talk, but it's gonna be okay Elena. We'll get through it, I promise. We'll find another way, we always do, right?"

Elena nodded with a teary smile. Prim smiled and left the room, quickly walking downstairs and towards the door. "Where are you going?" Jenna questioned from the living room.

"To find Damon."

"Is that wise?" Alaric spoke up.

"Probably not." Prim sighed. "But he's been doing crazy and stupid things all week, someone needs to babysit him."

Alaric nodded. "I'll come with you." He sighed, standing from his chair and quickly pressing a kiss to Jenna's lips before following Prim.

"I see things are back to normal," Prim smirked.

"Prim." He groaned.

⊱{✾♡✾}⊰

It didn't take long to locate Damon. The grills bar. Drinking away his sorrows. "I screwed up." He spoke as they sat on either side of him. "Are you okay?"

Prim nodded. "I'm fine Damon."

He nodded at her sadly. "I'm really sorry."

"I know." She nodded again. "But that doesn't change anything, unfortunately."

"I'll have what he's having." Alaric smiled at the bartender.

"Gentlemen. Miss Gilbert." A man spoke from behind them, his accent a replica of Elijah's. "Why so glum?"

They all slowly turned in their chairs. A blond man stood on the other side of Prim, smirking down at them. Damon groaned. "Klaus. I presume."

"In the flesh. Thanks for the loner, mate." He spoke, nodding over at Alaric.

Damon slid out of his chair, stepping next to Prim. "Any reason you stopped busy to say hi?"

"I'm told you and your brother fancy my doppelgänger. Just thought I'd remind you not to try anything you'll regret." Klaus smirked over at him. He then looked down to Prim, lifting the hand that was rested on the bar up and waving his fingers, sending her a wink. She scoffed and rolled her eyes.

"Thanks for the advice." Damon laughed, resting his hand on her back protectively. "I don't suppose I could talk you into a postponement by any chance, huh?"

Klaus chuckled. "You are kidding? He is kidding, right?" He asked looking over to the other two.

"No. Not really." Alaric responded.

"It wouldn't be the craziest thing he's done today," Prim grumbled.

"I mean, come on. What's a month in the grand scheme of things?"

"Let me be clear. I have my vampire. I have my werewolf. I have everything I need. The ritual will happen tonight. So if you want to live to see tomorrow, don't screw it up." Klaus finished with a glare before walking out of the building.

Damon sighed and sat back in his chair. "That was fun." He sighed.

"You're gonna screw it up, aren't you?" Alaric rhetorically. They all knew he was.

"You think if I took his werewolf out of the equation, she might get over the fact that I tried to turn her into a vampire?" He asked, looking directly at Prim.

"I think it won't matter because Elijah's equally good-looking brother will gut you from the inside out." Prim hummed with a sarcastically positive tone of voice.

"But without the werewolf, he can't perform the ritual tonight. Which means I would have bought her one whole month before the next full moon." Damon continued, now looking over to Alaric.

"And you'll still be dead." Alaric deadpanned.

"You gonna help me or what?" Damon asked, looking between them.

"I came to talk you out of doing stupid things, Damon," Prim whined.

"What do you want me to do?" Alaric agreed. Prim reached over and smacked him on the upside of his head.

"Ric." She scolded. "Fine, I'll come along, just to make sure you don't get caught. God, I hate you." She complained, standing from her chair.

⊱{✾♡✾}⊰

Prim opted to stay outside while Damon and Alaric went to Alaric's apartment to speak to Katherine. Not long after they entered, Alaric came back out. "What happened?" She questioned after Damon didn't follow him out.

"He told me to take you home. Said only one of us needs to be blamed for this." Alaric told her with a sigh. "You coming or staying?"

"Staying." She answered almost immediately. "He's not doing this on his own.

Alaric nodded. "I thought you say that. Good luck." He muttered while climbing into his car, and driving away.

"What are still doing here. I told Ric-"

"I don't care." She interrupted. Damon raised his eyebrows. "I'm not letting you kill yourself on your own. No one deserves to die alone, not even you." She spoke, walking alongside him. "Did she tell you where he's keeping the werewolf?"

Damon nodded. "Yep. Only it's not just a werewolf. Vampire two. He's got Tyler and Caroline."

"What?" Prim gasped.

"I know. He's keeping them in the tomb, come on." He spoke before spreading away.

Prim shook her head and groaned. "Always the goddamn tomb." She muttered before rushing off after him.

They slowly approached the entrance of the tomb, looking around the ruins for anyone guarding it. "Which one are you trying to save? The blonde or the wolf?" A man shouted from behind them. "Did you really think Klaus would leave them unprotected?"

"Well, we were hoping yeah." Prim nodded with a false smile.

"Wishful thinking." Damon shrugged. He ran at the man, tackling him to the floor. "Prim, now," Damon shouted over his shoulder. She ran forward, grabbing a thick stick off the floor and aiming it at his chest. The man lifted his right hand and sent them both flying backwards into the ruins and trees. The man quickly stood, lifting both of his hands towards each of them.

Prim and Damon yelled out, grabbing their heads in pain. Then a gunshot. Then another. The man gasped and fell to his knees, the magic that was hurting the two vampires stopped. Damon jumped up and ran towards the witch, quickly snapping his neck. Prim stood up and slowly walked over to Damon, the two of them staring at Matt with wide eyes.

"What are you doing here?" Damon questioned.

"Where's Caroline?" Matt spoke over him, walking towards them with the gun clutched in his hands tightly.

"Listen, man, not a good time to play the hero." Damon rolled his eyes at the boy.

Matt raised his gun at them. "Where is she? What did he do to her?"

"Matt, we're here to rescue her. I promise." She spoke softly, walking towards him slowly. Once she was close enough, she grabbed the gun from his hands, whacking it into the side of his head. Matt fell to the floor, unconscious. Prim unloaded the gun, allowing the bullets to fall to the floor before she threw the gun down next to him. "Sorry, Matt. We just don't have time for explaining today."

Damon bent down, picking up a bullet from the floor. "What?" Prim questioned.

"It's wooden." Damon frowned, passing it up to her.

She inspected it. "How does he know?"

"I don't know." Damon sighed. "But that's a problem for later. Come on." The two walked down the stairs, stopping in front of the opening, looking at each other with a sigh before stepping inside. "You get Tyler I'll get Caroline?" Prim suggested, leading him through the tunnels she knew so well.

"Yeah. Where do you think they'll be?" He questioned, furrowing his brows as he looked at the series of passageways and tunnels.

"There are three main rooms in there. Two small ones and a larger one. One of the smaller ones has three chains up. We used one to lock up one of the tomb vampires who went insane and tried to kill all of us, but when we were let free, Anna pulled them out of the wall to get him out." She explained, leading him towards that very room. "That's my best guess on where he would put them."

They walked into the room, spotting the two chained to the walls. "Caroline." Prim smiled, jogging over.

"Your boyfriends outside with a rifle loaded with wooden bullets," Damon told Caroline as he pulled Tyler's chains off the wall. "You have some explaining to do."

"Wait, Matt knows about you?" Tyler questioned, standing up.

"No, I-"

Prim shushed them. "Doesn't matter, it's a tomorrow problem." She sighed helping Caroline up from the floor. The four jogged through the tombs' tunnels, Prim leading the way with Caroline beside her, and Tyler and Damon trailed behind.

"It's getting dark soon. How fast can you get the hell away from here?" Damon questioned Tyler as they came to the end of the tunnel.

"I need to get to my family's cellar." He told them. "I can lock myself up."

"I'll help," Caroline spoke up. They made their way up the steps, stepping over the dead witch and walking over to Matt. "Did you hit him?" Caroline gasped, helping the barely conscious boy up.

"That one was me actually." Prim grimaced. "Sorry about that Matt."

Tyler began to grunt, clutching his arm in his other hand. "It's starting."

Damon groaned. "Ugh. Grab boy wonder. Let's go." He spoke, grabbing Prim's arm and tugging her along next to him.

"I can walk." Prim glared at him, pulling her arm away from him. "You better not bite anyone Tyler!" She shouted after him. "That's the last thing we need tonight." She muttered.

"Yup." Damon hummed from beside her, looking over his shoulder to check that Caroline and Matt were still following. Tyler let out another yell, now hunched over and gripping his abdomen.

"What's happening is he okay?" Matt questioned, jogging up to them. Prim walked over to Tyler, slinging one of his arms over her shoulders.

Damon groaned and pulled his phone out of his pocket. "Bad time little bro." He answered.

"Is that Stefan?" Prim questioned, looking at him over her shoulder. "Tell him I said hi." She laughed.

"Prim says hi. And we're saving the day." Damon continued on the phone. "I figured you'd understand. Just tell Elena to stay put."

"She's already gone, Damon," Stefan spoke from the other end.

"What?" The three vampires exclaimed.

"Klaus came. He took her."

"I'll take care of it," Damon answered, quickly hanging up the phone.

Tyler fell to the floor in a yell, dragging Prim down with him. His bone began to snap and reform. Prim quickly jumped to her feet, taking cautious steps away from him. "I don't know if I can hold it off. Get out of here." Tyler told them through his pained yells.

"Tyler it'll be okay. We still have time." Caroline spoke, standing in front of Matt.

"Go!" Tyler yelled. "It's happening faster.

"Tyler it's okay. We're almost there."

"I think we should listen to him," Prim yelled over Caroline.

Tyler yelled out and snapped his head up, looking around at them. He jumped up and ran towards Caroline. Damon tackled him away, the two falling and landing to the side of the group. Tyler growled at Damon, who was below him and began snapping his jaw. Prim sped over and wrapped her arms around his waist. Rolling him off Damon and holding his arms down with hers.

Tyler snapped his head up and her and rolled them over. He growled and dove his head down to hers. Teeth bared. Prim quickly shot her head to the side, attempting to squirm away. Tyler's teeth barely scratched behind her ear before Damon threw him off her. "Prim?" Caroline shouted.

"I'm fine. Let's go, before someone isn't." She shouted back.

"Go to the Lockwood cellar. If it holds him in, it will keep him out. If not..." Damon reached in his jacket, pulling out the bullets from before. "Use these. Prim me and you will lead him away. You go home."

"What about you?" She questioned, looking down at Tyler as he continued to change.

"Primrose go!" He yelled. The girl quickly shot away in the direction of the Salvatore home. She ran inside, slamming the door closed and sighing against it. She lifted a shaking hand behind her ear, feeling nothing but her smooth skin. She let out a small chuckle in relief, fully relaxing against the door.

Prim's phone buzzing caught her attention, her hands scurrying for her phone. "Damon?" She answered. "Where are you?"

"Klaus had backups." That was all he said to her.

"What?" She whispered, looking up to Stefan and Alaric who had just come from the kitchen.

"He had backups Prim! I thought he would use me but he didn't. He told Katherine that living with Elena despising me will be more of a punishment than death." He explained shouting down the phone. "I'm going to the witch house. I'll meet you all there."

"What's going on? Where were you and Damon?" Stefan rushed out.

Prim held up a finger while walking past him. "I'll tell you in the car. I'm starving." She muttered, tugging herself down to the cellar. She walked over to the large refrigerator and pulled a blood bag out, quickly slipping the straw through her lips. She winced as a stabbing pain shot through her head, her eyes fuzzing over. She sighed and lent on the side of the wall, groaning until the pain dulled.

She frowned and reached back up to touch behind her ear again. "Ah." She whispered. She pulled her hand away and slowly lifted it to inspect. A small amount of blood was smeared over her middle and index fingers. Her mouth opened and her eyes began to water, her body feeling numb as the realisation hit. It wasn't a scratch. It wasn't a small nip.

It was a bite.

Tyler bit her.

A/N- Some of you guys saw my
foreshadowing and I loved that. But, being
the evil person I am, I had Prim being bitten
in my plan after I finished writing season one. It will become obvious why I did this in the finale, be prepared for a lot of Prim and Stefan moments and a serious amount of angst.
(Please don't hate me too much!)
