Day 13

Author's Note:

Guys, this is the chapter right before the last day of the sickness. Then I'll post an epilogue. But before, I want you all to guess first what the cure is.

The sickness name: Sleeping Beauty's Curse

The ship we have: Zosan

These are some pretty obvious clues. Think about it as our oblivious one piece characters here try to figure out what to do ^^

(Chopper's POV)

"Listen Luffy. I know you're scared for Sanji, and I'm glad you're serious for once...but maybe that's not the right idea." I said.

The crew had become way more serious after Sanji got into his last phase. And Luffy's suggesting to do the same thing as we did for Nami and travel to the island nearby.

"Look Chopper, that's probably the most we can do right now. We found you once, and you were really helpful. Maybe we might find the cure in that island." Robin said.

"oh StAwp...I'm not happy or anything that you complimented me..." 

"He sure looks happy" Ussop said.

"May as well as go explore the island. It's right up ahead. Maybe you can go foraging and try for medications?" Nami said.

"Island? ISLAND!"

The boat soon docked on a small wooden platform. I could see that the trees were lush in fruits of all sorts.

Ussop immediately ran out.

"Be careful, don't get lost" I called out.

Soon, the rest of the crew followed.

"Hey Zoro, will you guard the ship" I asked him, "Just be careful, okay?"

Nodding, I finally left to join the rest of the crew

(Zoro's POV)

Wake up Zoro! Wake up!

At least that's what my intuition reminded me.

Groggily, I woke up and checked the deck. Nope, nothing. That's what I would have thought before a freaking bandit crash landed on me.

"Hey you! Where's that Vinsmoke you have over here?" the bandit menacingly growled. They were probably some bounty hunters that have nothing better to do.

My hand gripped my sword's handle, ready to draw it at any moment.

"Why do you need him?"

And that was my biggest mistake.

Suddently, the entire group of the bandits flung themselves over to the ship. While that bandit went to scrounge the ship, I fought off the other bandits one by one. I was positive that the infirmary was well hidden.

My swords clanged with theirs. Although they were fierce, they obviously weren't agile enough. They stumbled across the ship's deck, while I nimbly dealt damage slowly. I had circled the crew up before killing them off one by one.

"We have him!" The bandit said, preparing to hop over the boat. "Quick, Run!"

Shoot, they actually found him.

Sanji was limp in their arms. His usual 

I rushed to that bandit with most of my energy. Swords clang with swords, and we fought. He was strong, I'll give it to him for that. Yet, just like the rest, he was awkward when fighting. Before long, he had dropped Sanji and focused fully on fighting me. And just when he did that, he had lost his timing.

Smirking, I had him pinned down in seconds, as well as the rest of his crew.

"Look kid, before you plan on attacking us, you need to know who we are. We're the Strawhat pirates." I chuckled. Stupid, egotistical bandits who think they can defeat us? Sure.

From behind, the crew had returned. Nami picked at the bandits' pockets with great speed.

"Jackpot! We have money!" She said, turning towards us. Lifting up her shirt, 13 wallets dropped from her chest. "Those guys seem to be rich!" she gushed.

"Woah Zoro! You're so cool!" Chopper said, his eyes wide. "What did you say?"

"To be honest, you should have planned that out better." Y/N critiqued, "It could have saved you so much more time. You shouldn't have bluffed in the beginning, and you should have took them on from the back..."

"Did you guys find anything?" I interrupted Y/N. I was anxious to hear what they had. If they had found something groundbreaking, Sanji could be saved today. 

And there wasn't time left. Only 3 more days until the sickness fully takes over Sanji and kills him...

"Um...about that...

No."

"Oh shit."

I love this chapter. It really shows that Zoro would do anything for Sanji. I'm planning on adding more angst in the next chapter though...so yeah.
