Capricorn p.o.v

"I thought we were meant to meet here?" Capricorn questioned, looking up and down the staircases. He dreaded to think what was taking them so long.

"What if they're dead?" Scorpio said as if reading Capricorn's mind.

Capricorn chewed on his nail, "I think we would have heard something."

As Scorpio was about to reply, a loud voice said from behind them, "WASSUP BITCHES!"

It would be an understatement to say that Capricorn screamed like a five year old. And so did Scorpio for that matter. Capricorn turned around with a stare of daggers. Taurus was standing looking very proud of herself and Libra was standing behind her looking as if she was pissing herself with laughter. Capricorn glanced at Scorpio who looked as if he had seen a ghost. "I should have recorded that!" Libra said between breaths.

Taurus grinned, "You two are such losers!"

Capricorn rolled his eyes, "Is that the best insult you can do?"

"Never mind about that." Scorpio said sharply, "Where are the others?"

Taurus' face fell immediately and Libra stopped laughing and looked down at the floor. "Aquarius is dead. Sagittarius ran after Virgo with a knife, Aries followed them. We couldn't find Gemini and Leo, and we still have to look for Cancer and Pisces."

Capricorn's mouth fell open at the news. Aquarius...dead? His throat tightened as he held back a sob. He regretted not sharing his feelings towards her now, even if she had been with Sagittarius. Scorpio patted his back, and he swallowed his grief. "Do you have any idea who did it?" Capricorn asked, and cringed at the sound of his hoarse voice.

"No..." Libra started, "But it is suspicious how Virgo was the only one with her at the time. And how we haven't seen Gemini and Leo for hours. Same goes for Cancer and Pisces."

Scorpio nodded his head slightly, "That's true, but we can't go accusing people."

"We've got to be careful though, and not let out guard down." Taurus said.

"Yeah, don't trust anyone." Capricorn added.

"What's to say I can trust you guys?" Libra eyed the small group suspiciously.

"Nothing." Capricorn replied bluntly.

"Ooookay then." Taurus said. "Shouldn't we look for Pi and Cancer, seeing as we're the only ones here?"

"I guess." Scorpio didn't seem thrilled at the idea, and neither was Capricorn, for that matter. He did not have the greatest history with Cancer, having been rivals in both sports and academics since primary school.

Taurus lead the way with her phone light. Using only hers in hopes of saving the other's batteries, it made the shadows long and menacing, like they were creeping up on the group silently. Capricorn twisted his silver ring nervously. All the doors were closed, and Cancer and Pisces didn't answer.

"We've looked everywhere." Taurus muttered as they found themselves back at the staircases. "I'm gonna get food, I don't give a fuck what anyone says." She declared stomping down the stairs. Capricorn couldn't know how someone could still have an appetite during times like these.

"Guys, you might want to see this..." Libra said in a small voice from behind him. Capricorn turned around and saw her staring into a room, shaking.

"Shit." Scorpio said. Capricorn could only fear the worst.

Sagittarius p.o.v

Finally, Sagittarius dried her eyes and untangled herself from Virgo's arms. She couldn't believe what had happened. She and Aquarius had so much planned, they were going to go to Iceland in the summer, then spend Christmas in Canada with her family. All of their dreams were now crushed. Sagittarius was sure Virgo felt the same way. He wasn't the killer she decided.

"We need to get back to the others." Aries said in a forced voice. Sagittarius had forgotten he was there. She got up and offered Virgo a hand, who took it.

"So which way is it?" Sagittarius asked, looking in both directions.

"Well I was chasing after you." Aries told her.

Sagittarius crossed her arms, "And I was chasing after Virgo. Virgo, where did we come from?"

Virgo let out an exasperated sigh, "I was too busy trying not to be impaled by the knife you were holding."

"How inconsiderate of you." Sagittarius said, a hint of her old sarcasm returning.

Virgo let out a small laugh then said, "I think we came from that way." He pointed to his left.

"Let's go, I'm getting a weird feeling..." Aries said.  Sagittarius nodded. She also felt uneasy.

They walked back the way they came from, hoping each turn would lead them to a friendly face and not a killer. But at least as a small group they were safer. Unless the killer had accomplices. Or there were several killers. Sagittarius shuddered.

"What is it?" Virgo asked.

"What if the murderer is more than one person?" Sagittarius questioned.

Both boys were quiet. "That does make sense..." Aries said at last.

"It gives the killer a fake alibi." Virgo added.

"But who?" Sagittarius asked.

"I don't want to point my finger at anyone," Virgo started, "But here are my suggestion: Leo and Gemini haven't been seen for hours, so they're either dead or sneakily killing off people one at a time. Taurus and Libra seem to be way too friendly with each other, from what you've said, Aries. Capricorn and Scorpio are too eager to be with each other, alone, and I don't think they're spending that time snogging each other. And we haven't seen Cancer and Pisces in a while, but knowing them they're probably in some room having sex."

"They have no motive though." Aries enquired.

Sagittarius scratched the back of her neck, "That is very true."

"Our best option is to observe their behaviour when we find them." Virgo said. Sagittarius and Aries nodded. They turned a corner, which, fortunately for them, led them to a familiar staircase, with, not-so-fortunately, no one there.

Libra p.o.v

Libra stared trasfixed at the entwined, dead couple. She could almost imagine Cancer's final thoughts as Pisces died in his arms. She could imagine his grief, his sadness, his desire to save his beloved lover. Libra could see the knife buried deep in Pisces' chest, just above his heart, and winced even though it was painless for him now. She walked slowly towards them, and with a shaking hand, went to check their pulses, even though she knew the results.

She put her hand to Pisces' neck. It was cold, and she could feel nothing. Libra took her hand way from him quickly, and then placed it on Cancer's. To her surprise, he was warmer than Pisces. She felt his neck. A beat. Then a pause. Then another beat. It was weak, but there was definitely a heartbeat.

"He's alive!" She exclaimed almost in a panic.

Taurus waved her arms around uselessly, "What do we do?"

"We've got to sit him up properly, then apply pressure to the wound." Capricorn said, moving towards his sworn enemy. He untangled Pisces from his arms and set him not-so-gently on the floor next to him as he pushed Cancer upright. Now Libra could see the knife emplanted in Cancer's shoulder. From the looks of things, he had lost a lot of blood.

"We can't leave Pisces like that." Libra murmured.

Capricorn didn't look up, "We have to focus on the living. If we don't do anything now, Cancer will die."

"It's what Pisces would want." Taurus added, coming out of nowhere and kneeling next to Capricorn and helped him tend to Cancer's wound, not that they could do much. Pulling the knife out would cause more danage than good.

"We can put him on the bed." Scorpio said from behind her, making her jump. She had forgotten he was there. The guy had a notorious habit of blending into the shadows. Libra nodded sadly. Libra took Pisces from under ther arms and Scorpio took his feet. They set him down gently on the bed, and put the covers over his head.

Libra would have expected to feel saddness, but she just felt numb. Three of her friends were now dead (as far as she knew) and one was dying. She wished she could be back with Aries so she could tell him exactly how she felt, and she wished he would hold her and comfort her as she cried. She wished none of this had happened and it had been an ordinary sleepover with jokes and midnight snacks and movies.

The only film Libra was in was a never ending horror story.
