you lied to me? (requested)

"There you are," You sighed in relief as Yuna walked through the front door.

You waited for her to close the door but saw that she wasn't alone because as she took off her shoes, the girls walked in behind her.

"Oh, the girls are here?"

"Yeah. Is that not alright?" She asked as she frowned a little.

"No, Yuna, it is, I guess. But we need to talk."

"Okay, well, then talk."

It's a conversation you wanted to have with her in private.

But if she didn't want to have it away from the girls, that was fine with you.

It's not as if you made the mistake that went on today.

"Where were you?"

Yuna looked a little surprised by your question.

"We had dinner plans. We were going to grab some food together and have a movie night."

Oh, no.

Yuna had completely forgotten.

But she was afraid to confess that to you because she didn't want to upset you.

She didn't want to tell you what she'd done instead. She didn't want you to know the reason she forgot.

"I'm so sorry, baby. We were stuck in practice all day long. We were so busy. We just left and came right here."

You had no reason to think she was being dishonest.

You know Yuna.

She's not a liar and especially not with you.

But... tonight was an exception.

"What?" Chaeryeong spoke.

"We just got out of practice." Yuna replied as she clenched her teeth and gazed at Chaeryeong.

"No, we didn't. We saw that movie, remember?" Lia said.

Yuna threw her head back with a groan as she realized that her friends had exposed the truth.

"Oh, I loved that movie! We should go and see it again soon. It was hilarious!" Yeji said.

"Movie?" You asked. "Yuna, what are they talking about?"

Yuna looked at you with a guilty expression.

A sad sigh fell from her lips as she made her way over to you.

"Okay. I lied." She confessed and watched as you stared at her in shock.

"You lied to me? Why?"

"Because I forgot about our plans for the night and I didn't want to hurt your feelings by saying that I forgot and went out with the girls."

"Yuna, I understand when you forget things. Everyone forgets stuff. I wouldn't have been upset at all. But you lied to me. We don't lie to each other."

"I'm sorry." She said. "Everythings just been so crazy and I have a lot on my mind so our plans just slipped from my brain. I thought if I told you that, you'd be angry. I thought you'd think that I ditched you for the girls."

"No, babe, I wouldn't have. If you just explained it to me, I would've understood. It happens."

She felt a little relieved to hear you say that.

But the relief didn't last long.

"I just don't understand why you'd lie to me. No matter what, we always tell each other the truth."

"You're right. I should've told you the truth from the start. I shouldn't have lied."

"Yeah, you're right, Yuna. You shouldn't have! Because I'd never be that upset with you for just forgetting. You've never done it before. You've never blown me off before. I thought honesty and trust come first in our relationship."

"It does, baby, I swear. I'm sorry for being dishonest. I won't do it again. Please don't be mad at me."

You knew her intentions weren't bad considering the reason behind it.

Even though you don't appreciate being lied to, you weren't upset.

So, you forgave her.

"I forgive you. But don't lie again. Please."

"Never again, I promise." She said before kissing your lips and pulling you into her arms.

"We should go." Ryujin said. "See you lovebirds tomorrow."

The girls walked out the door, leaving you and Yuna alone for the rest of the night, happy that all was fine between you.
