Rubén Doblas Gundersen, better known as "El Rubius" or "Rubius" (Mijas, February 13, 1990), is a videoproducer on the YouTube platform of Spanish origin. At the moment, is the most followed youtuber of its country, the second in Spanish language and the 4º most popular of YouTube at global level. The main theme of his videos are the commented games, Treated in a humorous way. Born in the Malaga town of Mijas in 1990, of Spanish father and Norwegian mother, spent his childhood and part of his adolescence between Spain and the Nordic country. In Norway, he launched a friendship with Miguel Ángel Rogel (better known as Mangel or mangelrogel), a Spanish youtuber who collaborates frequently in his videos, whom he met in person in 2012 and with whom he shared a flat for a while. He speaks fluent Norwegian.

When settled definitively in Spain, decided to study Animation and 3D Modeling. Rubius uploaded his first video to YouTube in 2006 and from that year until 2011, when he decided to dedicate himself exclusively to his channel, uploaded content to the portal sporadically.

During the years 2012 and 2013 worked with other users of the platform as MangelRogel, Panda, Lokillo or Maximus in BGames, the video game section of Boomerang Live (currently called BLive), network with YouTube channel of the Boomerang TV Group.

In the year 2014, he made a cameo in Torrente 5, a Spanish comedy starring and directed by Santiago Segura.

In 2015, he gave his first interview on television, specifically for the Spanish program A corner of thinking of Antena 3, presented by Risto Mejide. In that interview they treated personal dramas that excited him visibly, which had a great repercussion in the social networks for being the first and only time that it spoke of his private life in public.

In summer of 2016, the youtuber participated in the advertising campaign that the Fanta drink made in Spain.
