19: "Kiyo's" House

He opened the door as wide as it could go. I walked in and took off my shoes.

He turned on a light to reveal a messy house space.

I chuckled a small bit and put my bag down.

He walked up to me, grabbed my wrist, and dragged me to his room.

He then sat on his bed and made me sit too.

"Why..are you here.?" Korekiyo said sleepily.

I rubbed the back of my head and said, "The police showed up to my house for a potential stalker, so I went here to seek help."

Korekiyo and I could hear the sirens outside so he believed me.

He let me stay and look around.

After walking around for a bit, I picked up some papers.

"Hey Korekiyo? I-"

 "Kiyo." He interrupted.

What? "What was that?" I asked.

"Call me..Kiyo from now on.." He sleepily said under the sheets.

I smiled ear to ear. "U-Uh, okay K-Kiyo!"

I stuttered out in happiness. Kiyo. It felt nice to just say Kiyo on my lips.

 It made him less menacing.

"What are these?" I handed him the papers.

He scanned them all quickly and turned back to me.

"These," He started, "Are notes and letters from my dear soulmate.."

He said, hugging the papers tightly. He started to rant about his soulmate.

I smiled, I liked seeing this side of Korekiyo.

Calm, talking, drowsy, all that I wanted to talk to.

We both took turns on bonding with each other.

At the end of the night, Korekiyo showed me a plushie.

The same exact plushie that I gave to...my soulmate..?

What?

"It is my favorite thing in the whole world now. My soulmate is so nice.." He told me, letting me look at the plushie.

I nodded and gave it back to him.

When we both fell asleep I couldn't shake the thought of Korekiyo being MY soulmate.

That would just be absurd!... Right?

Nevermind, I should just sleep.

I pulled the covers over me and hugged a pillow on Korekiyo's bed.
