The doorbell rang again causing Jaehyun to roll over the bed, he tried to cover his ears with the pillow, but it didn't help, so he sighed getting up and stumbling to the front door.

His apartment was modern and spacious, as Jae had made a lot of money in a very short time when he became the star of the show "Your Dish". Since then his career was blooming, he barely had time for himself, flying from Tokyo to London, from Paris to LA, to prepare all different kind of meals. Pelted with love, fans, fame and money he seemed to lead the perfect life, and with his engagement to the beautiful actress Maria Saragio, the fairy tale was completed.

Still when Jae opened the door he groaned noticing his mother, an energetic lady in her early fifties, who was the boss in his life, she was his manager, his agent, the one who chose who he's dating, what he's wearing, how his smiling to the cameras.

"Are you still in your pajamas?" she eyed him up in disbelief when she stormed the flat.

"As you see," Jae shrugged.

"We must choose the tie and shirt for the wedding today," she was looking around picking up his yesterday's socks from the carpet.

"Oh, this," Jae rubbed his hair.

The last thing he wanted to hear about was the wedding. He felt the flat was suddenly too small to breath in it. Something hurt in his arm and chest, but he ignored. Tonight he was supposed to dress up in a designer suit and attend a gala for celebrities.

The only good thing was, Maria was busy today, so she couldn't come with him and turn his evening into a horror show filled with constant monologues about the wedding, her friends, and the latest fashion.

"Mom," said Jae so the woman turned to him, she had a lot of his mess in her hands.

"Yes dear?" she smiled.

"I... I'll be there," he changed the actual sentence and lowered his head.

"Great," she smiled wide.

His life was a huge mess, and he felt torn like the drizzling sky, when he laid his head against the cold window of the limo he was using to get through town.

The event took palce in an old factory building in one of the bad neighborhoods, but the owners, a Chinese family, who's son a young businessman Kun, wanted to turn this place into the art center of the city, assured it's safe to come. Today's party was the first step in their plan. Jae's phone vibrated, but he ignored it, he knew it was his fiancée, and his stomach twisted.

"I think it's from the other side sir," the chauffeur stopped and glanced at the GPS while Jae opened the car door getting out. The cold night hit him when he inhaled sharply.

"Sir, I don't think you should get out here, it's a bad neighborhood," said the chauffeur hurring out of the car, but Jae closed his eyes listening to the night sounds of the city, the distant cars, the drizzling of the rain against the roofs and gutters...

Something hit the car, the window smashed. Jae opened his eyes turning around, his heart started to hammer and all the hair on his skin raised up.
