『Chapter 4』

(Y/N)'s POV
I shook with excitement, it was finally happening, I was gonna meet a new  SCP. It's been half a year since my last visit and I can not wait to see what lies in the cell. It can't be boring seeing as it's Euclid, so I'm extremely excited.

I hovered off the ground higher than usual and floated between the two guards. Kitty was already in the office preparing everything.

I took a deep breath as the door opened and walked in, my feet returning to the ground for a few moments.

As soon as I entered I noticed the darkness in the room, which took a little to adjust to from being in the bright hallways.

I scanned the room, looking for whatever it was I was supposed to be meeting. The headset that I had been given before entering turned on.

"Yo (y/n/n) 049 seems to be hiding, spread your molecules to make sure he can't touch you."

I nodded, though immediately stopped feeling ridiculous, but did as told and soon the feeling of being even lighter washed over me.

I crossed my arms, being asking Kitty if I could shift, to which she suggested not to yet. I signed and slowly floating to the table in the centre of the room. I took a seat on the cold, metallic chair, leaning back.

"Oh oh! He's approaching on guard (Y/n/n)!"

Kitty said in the mic. I looked up, my eyes now adjusted to the darkness. I saw a dark figure moving towards the table, it didn't say anything, but slowly sat down. I looked it up and down, identifying it as a plague Doctor look alike.

My molecules forms class and fangs to defend my self if necessary. It was silent for a minute, but I was soon ordered to talk.
I sighed and ruffled my hair.

"Hey, I'm SCP-3042, or (y/n)."

I said. I was a bit startled by deep, robotic chuckling from the being.

"Hello there, SCP-3042 or (y/n). I am SCP-049. It's a pleasure to meet you."

He went to touch my other hand before I faded out of his way, my molecules disappearing as his hand touched mine.

"Yeah. Sorry bud but you can't actually touch me. Wooh I'm a spooky ghost, be spooked."

I said sarcastically, much to the doctors displeasure.

"That's not very polite, I was very patient in waiting for you to come. But I wonder why they wouldn't let me go--"

alarms began to blare.

"ATTENTION! WE HAVE A MAJOR CONTAINMENT BREACH ALL CELLS IN THE EAST WING HAVE BEEN OPENED!"

The loud speaker screamed. We were right beside the east wing. I looked around for the camera.

"Kitty?"

There was a bit of panic in her voice.

"Uhm, (y/n) I'm gonna have to leave you guys, I need to get out of here, I don't want to die yet."

My eyes sharpened.

. "You traitor."

"I-I'm sorry but, I'm sure you'll be fine, goodbye."

The mic disconnected. I stared at the camera in shock, before turning into hawk, screeching at 049 before flying into the doorway, faxing through it.

'If she's gonna be a traitor, than so am I."

I thought, before flying down the halls, not a hint of drowsiness coming to me. I had time to practice and I've grown stronger. I know these halls as well. I've flown through them before, during my first escape. But I also knew my way to the main control centre, that would open all containment cells.

It was a terrible idea, but I was going on rage. Passing countless cells, I finally got to the main interface. I placed my palm on the steel door.

"Disintegrate."

I commanded, and the door turned to ash. As soon as I walked through, guns were trained on me. I'll stared at them, before shifting into a tiger, dodging the bullets and attacking all of the guards, being shot once and nicked on the shoulder.

As soon as I turned back, I saw a quivering Kitty on the corner.

"(Y-y/n)! I'm so glad to see you I--"

"Sock it Kitty. I don't want your empathy."

I spat, before walking up to the interface.

"N-no! Don't touch that, you'll release them all!"

She frantically tried to stop me.

"That's the plan."

I grin and slam the many buttons. Surprisingly no alerts came, because it's from the interface. But that surprise lasted only a moments before the speakers came on once again.

"WE HAVE A MAJOR CONTAINMENT BREACH! ALL SCPS HAVE BEEN RELEASED!"

I turned back to see Kitty on her knees, her expression near horrified.

"N-now there is no way I can escape! They'll get in eventually!"

Her body began to shake as she began to cry. I felt no sympathy, she betrayed us, she'd have left up for dead. There's no doubt one of them would kill us, and she didn't care as long as her sorry ass was safe. I glared at her and smirked.

"Good luck Kitty. You'll need it to get out of this hell."

I smirked at my previous best friend before turning into a (fav/animal) and sprinted/flew down the hall.

As I passed by all the chambers, I saw many, scary looking SCPs emerge from the rooms. I slightly shrunk in fear but looked very threatening as I passed by, slowly rounding a corner and making my way towards the cell 049 was still in.

I transformed back and peaked in, the SCP was still there.

"049,"

I addressed him.

"You did this? You freed everyone?"

He asked, astonished.

"Yes, I have."

"But I thought you were loyal to that Doctor?"

I rolled my shoulders. "She betrayed me, so I betrayed her."

He nodded in the darkness.

"I know a lot of these SCPs, as a favour returned, I'll protect you, make it so most don't attack you, until you decide to escape or do whatever, I will protect you."

He said seriously. I smiled a bit.

"It's a pleasure to meet you, 049."
