Christine's POV

Jungkook refused to leave me after we've calmed down from the crying. He was sitting with his back crouching towards me wrapping his arms around me as he rested his chin on my shoulder. He made me sit in between his legs as he made me rest my back on his chest. We spent a few minutes in silence as my phone ringtone broke it. I was about to stand up but he held me back. He was still sitting but he reached for my phone on my duffel bag with the long arms he has. He looked at the phone and gave it to me

"Jiyoon umma?" he asked.

"Yoboseo?" I answered just smiling weakly at him. My heart's pounding. Remembering the illness I might have.. I might be discussing it with Jiyoon umma infront of Jungkook.. Will I be able to do it?

"Ne.. Ne.. Ne.. Ani.. Ahaha me too, Jiji umma.. I hope so too.." my voice cracked when I said that. "Okay see you. Take care as well, thankyou. Ne.. Goodnight." I hung up.

"You okay? Who was Jiyoon umma?" he asked making me rest on his chest once again. I shook my head slightly

"You'll meet her.. Maybe soon." I said.

Maybe soon? Maybe not? If you do meet her.. I don't know. Maybe you know already.. Maybe not.

"You can't sleep here.." I suddenly said.

"I know.. Then go to sleep.." he started rocking me softly like as if he was trying to put a baby to sleep.

"But you have to sleep too."

"I just can't.. I don't think I will be sleeping anyways."

"Why.." I asked looking up to him. He looked down on me and I saw his puffy eyes staring at me with a sad smile.

"I can't lose you. I'm scared that maybe.. If I leave you here.. You'd be gone.." his said softly with his voice slightly cracking. I took his hands off my waist as I faced him, cupping his soft cold cheeks on my small cold hands.

"I'm sorry for awhile ago Jagi, but I won't leave. I won't be the one to break up with you. Hell would freeze if I will be able to do that." I smiled as a single tear escaped my eyes.

"We're never breaking up then." he smiled wiping the stray tear off my cheeks. "Cause you said you'll never be the one to break up with me and I have no intentions of doing so either.." he said as he cupped my face and planted a soft kiss on my forehead.

"Whatever you're going through that made you say such things, always remember that I'll be with you all through out alright? P.please Jagi.. Don't think of abandoning me. I can't.. I won't.. I.." he sighed in frustration as tears found its way back to his eyes.

I'll be with you...

Ohgod Jungkook what do I do? I don't want to make you suffer because of me. I can't. But I can't bring myself to say those words.. To set you free.. I can't. Why is life so unfair? WAE!

I hugged him tight and he wrapped his arms around me tightly as well.

"Shhh. I'll fight this.. I'll survive. We can make it through.. I'll do my best." I whispered.

"P.pabo! I told you I'll be with you. Stop fighting alone!" Jungkook said making me face him by breaking the hug. "You have me... No matter what it is.. I won't leave."

Even if it means you'll suffer hell? Can you.. Do that?

"Thankyou." I smiled at him and did something I never thought I would.. I leaned in and gave him a kiss. I held his cheeks close to mine as I felt his hands on my waist. He returned the kiss full of passion. I felt him smile as he kissed me. We both pulled apart with our tear stained cheeks.

"Go to sleep now, Jagi. Sleep in peace alright?" I told him placing my hands on his shoulder, smiling at him.

"Do I have to leave now?" he now pouted and in a matter of seconds, his pout turned into a half smile.

"Ofcourse pabo." I smiled chuckling lightly.

"Alright. You sleep well too okay?"

"Mmm."

"And hey." he said standing up

"Hmm?"

"No more talks like that alright?" he said before stepping out of my tent.

I hope so too, but that depends on you, my jagi. I can't promise anything.. When you know already.. We'll talk about this again.. Even if you said you'll be staying with me all through the way, once we know about my condition, I'll give you a chance to think it through..

I just smiled at him without uttering anything and he returned it with a sweet smile before leaving my tent.

Dear, It's me Jiyoon umma, have you been doing well?

Ne..

Have you puked recently?

Ne..

Do you experience headache frequently but quickly?

Ne..

Do you feel sick right now?

Ani..

Dear, I'm really worried. I'm happy I'll be able to see you again but I don't like the reason why we'll be meeting up for so long...

I closed my tired eyes and let the darkness drift me into the dark abyss.

Jagi.. Saranghae.

His voice was heard even through my dream. Nothing was seen but his voice I can recognize from anywhere made me feel safe and at ease. I felt warm after I felt lips on my forehead. I smiled as I slept peacefully.

"Goooooooooooooodmorning~" Sungmi sang from outside my tent. I slowly opened my eyes. The shine was shining bright but it was still cold. I sat up and something fell on my lap.. Omo. This is Jungkook's jacket.. When did this get here? I smiled as I wore his jacket. I unzipped my tent with my hair everywhere, meeting the lively girl outside.

"Hey.." Sungmi said after seeing me. She dragged me back inside the tent and hugged me.

"I heard you and Jungkook last night.. Is there something wrong?" She asked me.

"Is it that Yuri?!" she suddenly asked.

"No.. It's not her.." I smiled sadly

"Then why did you suddenly thought of breaking up?" She said softly as she sat down taking my hand in hers as she dragged me down to sit as well.

"I'll tell you.. Soon." I said

"Yah!"

"I promise.. I will. I'll tell you when I know already, cause right now, I honestly don't know myself." I sighed. She just gave my hand a squeeze. I fixed myself before going out.

"Do I look like shit?" I asked her and she just giggled.

"You look like a zombie." She remarked.

"A pretty one at that." Jongin suddenly popped out of nowhere which made me gasp and scream alittle.

"Whoa! You're all jitty today like you drank alot of coffee but that's impossible cause you don't drink coffee. Didn't get any sleep?" He said headlocking me, but not as harsh as he does with Jaebum.

"Isn't it obvious" I remarked trying to pry his hands off.

"Oh goodmorning you two." Sungmi said and I looked up to see Jaebum and Jungkook walking towards us both heads looking down with their hands in their jogging pants pockets.

"Morning~" Jaebum said sleepily.

"You guys look like zombies! The 4 of you!" Kai said laughing.

"Whatever." We all said together.

Jinki came to us and asked me if I'm good to go cause the teacher's calling for us. I went with him sleepily but he's all excited and talkative. My head hurts. I momentarily stopped, pressing my temple where it hurts but before Jinki could even notice, I jogged up to where he was and acted like nothing happened.

"You ate chicken for breakfast, didn't you?" I said out of nowhere. He just chuckled as an answer as we were instructed to inform the the students about today's activity. We had a head start with our team since Jinki couldn't wait for the prize (It's chicken. What do you expect. He loves chicken more than anything besides his family and friends)

Soon everyone was excited. Jinki and I know what might happen, but since we're part of the activity, we can't know the traps and obstacles. This activity will be by pair and the pair will be decided with drawlots. I have a box of sticks where in on the other side are numbers. There are only two with the same number and the one you're paired with is the one with the same number.

Everyone got in pairs and I was paired with Minrin sunbae/unnie. She's a senior whom Kai has been crushing on since 6th grade. I don't know if up until now, but up close, she's really pretty.

"Annyeong! Take care of me Christine ssi!" She smiled.

"A..annyeong.. Y.You know me sunbae?" I stuttered.

"Mmm. Jongin tells me alot about you." she smiled. What? They were close?

"He's my seatmate." she giggled

"A.ahh is that so.." I smiled awkwardly. "I'm sorry I'm just an awkward person." I muttered.

"It's fine." she ruffled my bangs and smiled at me.

I scanned the crowd and saw Sungmi paired with Jaebum. Kai and Jinki were together and Jungkook was with Sooeun. I suddenly saw Jinki approaching me with Yuri beside her.

"Christine ah~" Jinki called me and I went over to where they were with Minrin beside me.

"Waeyo?"

"Yuri said Sooeun wanted to change pairs with her. Is that alright?" Jinki asked me. I think he was sensitive enough to ask me since he knows about the tension from yesterday's trip to the site.

"Doesn't look like Sooeun has a problem" I said motioning towards Jungkook and Sooeun who were talking but with safe distance. I don't know. Was Jungkook doing that for me? Or was Sooeun doing that for Yuri?

"SOOEUN AH!" Yuri shouted calling her attention. Sooeun went to us.

"You wanted to change pairs right?" Yuri said with a meaningful eyes wide set on her friend. It made me chuckle how desperate she was for my guy. If ever he choose to leave, I'll pray until my last breath that he finds someone better than Yuri.

"Huh? O-oh. Yeah. Sure. Can we please exchange pairs?" Sooeun said to Jinki but Jinki looked at me. I shrugged.

"Sure go ahead" I smiled at the both of them. I trust Jungkook. He wouldn't do anything to disappoint me nor hurt me. Not intentionally.

Sooeun was surprised along side with Jinki but Yuri was smiling victoriously. I shook my head and went back to the starting point where Minrin and I will be starting.

"Is that Yuri still going after the poor Jungkook?" Minrin asked me

"Huh?"

"They've been dating for quite awhile when she suddenly left. It was a big news in school. Now I heard Jungkook has a girl but Yuri's still claiming Jungkook as hers."

"Yuri's what?"

"She's saying that Jungkook still loves her. I dunno."

"Does Jungkook know about this?"

"I don't think so. Poor kid." Minrin said shaking her head. "Wait. Can you participate in this activity?"

"W.wae?" I asked

"You look pale."

"No, I'm good unnie." I smiled at her. The whistle was heard for the third time signaling our turn to enter the forest to collect 5 red flags. We went in together as we jogged, the others were seriously looking for the flags. As you can see, most students are lazy to fish and cook for their dinner, but that dinner is meant for a single team only.. So everyone's working hard.

In the middle of the hunt for red flags, Minrin got separated from me. I called out for her, but she didn't respond. Ugh this is useless. We have to go back and present the flags we collected as a pair. I decided to look for her without a sense of direction.

"Goodness! MINRIN SUNBAE!!" I shouted but it's getting creepier by the second. I can no longer see any signs of students in this area. Have I gone too far? But I haven't seen the string that marks the area we're only allowed to be in, so I guess I'm safe? I almost fell if I didnt get to hold on to the tree beside me. It looks deep and full of greens.

"You lost little girl?" I turned around and saw Yuri smirking with her hands across her chest.

"Where's your pair?" I asked her. Her smirk turned into a pissed face as she started screaming at me.

"He's MINE! I had him first!"

"But you were stupid enough to let him go. That's not my problem." I shrugged turning my back on her.

"I said HE'S MINE!" She ran towards me and pushed me.

"What the he-" she started pulling off my jacket. Oh wait, It's Jungkook's jacket

"It's not even yours! Remove it!" She screamed like the desperate girl she is as she tries to pry the jacket off but I won't let go. I lost my balance as we both fell into the ground that was a good 10 feet below from where we were 5 seconds ago. I winced in pain as I couldn't move my foot.

"Look at what you did! I got scratches all over me!" Yuri shouted. "HELP HELP US!" but no one was there.

"Ugh! This is so irritating." she said standing up and walking away.

"Yah aren't you standing up?!" she asked me irritated.

"Shut up! I got sprained thanks to an idiot!" I retorted.

"You deserved that, boyfriend stealer." she said before running away towards the campsite. But she'll have to hike up. As for me, what am I supposed to do? Damn. It's getting cold. Ugh thank goodness I have Jungkook's hanky with me everywhere I go.

I wrapped my ankle despite the pain, and I tried to stand up. I sat on a big rock as I took out my phone from my pocket. I pressed the lock button and saw Jungkook's selfie which got teased by Jimin as a good screamer. I smiled and unlocked it to check the signal.

A single bar!

I dialed Jungkook's number but he wasn't picking up. The line suddenly got cut off. What the- I checked my phone and saw it shut down.

SERIOUSLY. IT CHOSE TO LOSE IT'S BATTERY AT THIS KIND OF SITUATION.
