Chapter 2~He's back!

Jai POV

Senior year at last, I thought. I noticed Pari waving at me to join her and the rest of the gang.

"Hey guys," I greeted them enthusiastically and they smiled and said 'hello' back with the same enthusiasm.

"How come Aisha isn't with you?" Pari asked.

"Well I did make a trip to her house but Kabir Bhai said that she was still sleeping," I said and all of them chuckled and glanced at each other. I frowned, that was strange.

"That's our sleeping beauty," Ishita said nervously.

Now I was sure that they were hiding something. I continued to stare at them while they avoided my gaze.

"Alright, spill," I said calmly while all of them stared at each other.

"Alright," Raj said quietly. "Ishu, why don't you tell him?"

"Why should I tell?" Ishita argued with him while I sighed.

"Yes I agree with Pari, Abhi why don't you tell?" Pari agreed and glared at Raj.

"Why do I have to say it..." Abhi protested.

And these crazy people start again!

"Why doesn't someone tell me what has happened?" I cut them off as I knew that if I don't stop them from their argument, they will go on forever.

Abhi took a deep breath and said, "JaiRohanisback."

"I didn't understand what you said," I was puzzled.

"You can't even speak properly," Pari rolled her eyes and shifted her gaze on me. "Rohan is back!"

I stared at her as if she had taken out an elephant from her pocket. It took a second or two for the information to sink in.

"Jai, he is back and it's not good news for you and Aisha," Ishita said gently.

"Let him process the information," Abhi said quietly and Pari elbowed him.

"Ow!" He winced. "What was that for?"

"So that you can shut up," Pari glared at him.

"Have you guys said hello?" I asked, after all they were still friends with him. Whatever happened between Rohan in the past was with Aisha and me.

"No, we haven't seen him. Ishita saw him and he doesn't know her as she came after he left," Pari explained.

"He's here," Pari murmured and we all glanced at the direction she was staring at.

Rohan Nanda!

"See you guys later," I said, giving all of them a knowing smile as I knew they all wanted to greet him.

Pari POV

Jai gave us a knowing smile and left us to meet Rohan.

"Let's go and talk to him," I suggested. Abhi and Raj nodded as he was our best friend.

"I will go with Jai, I will leave you three to it," Ishita said and started to walk away. I motioned for Raj to stop her. Raj grabbed her arm and dragged her along.

I ran ahead towards him and hugged him tightly.

"ROHAN," I shouted and all the bystanders glanced in our direction.

"Pari," He smiled at me and hugged me.

"Saale, did you forget us," Abhi said, faking anger causing me to cringe.

"Saale, you will never change, the same drama queen," He laughed and hugged him.

"Hey man," Raj said and hugged him. Ishita smiled at us greeting each other.

Rohan noticed Ishita standing there and said, "and you are..."

"Hi Rohan, I am Ishita," Ishita introduced herself.

Before Rohan could say anything, Raj interrupted,"she is my girlfriend. She joined after you left."

"I see," He smirked at Raj. "So now Abhi and Pari are also a thing. Wow! You guys have had crushes on each other for ages."

"This was all Ishu's doing," I said, pointing at her. "She is a matchmaker."

Rohan POV

It was so good to be back and talking to my closest friends again. I knew Aisha and Jai weren't going to talk to me because of what happened in the past. But where are they? I am curious to see them. Then, I noticed a girl walking into the college campus. She was beautiful. I was mesmerised with her eyes which were the color of milk chocolate, her skin was silk over and flawless but it was inner beauty that lit her eyes and softened her features.

"AISHU," she squealed and ran towards her.
