Trust you with my life

"WHAT DO YOU MEAN YOU'RE AN ENHANCED?!"
"I mean I'm an enhanced,"
"DON'T GET SARCY WITH ME YOUNG LADY!"
"Hey, I didn't ask for it,"
Mom groaned, hiding her face in her hands. I think she was trying not to freak out.
"Have you forgotten that I've been captured for months and I still haven't gotten a hug yet?"
Mom pulled me into a hug.
"Speaking of which," she started, looking at the team. "Please tell me you blew the base up,"
Dad nodded. "Nothing left but ash," he promised.
"Well what are we going to do?" Mom asked.
"About?"
"Carson and her new abilities,"
"Nothing, I can't get rid of them,"
"You can't WHAT?!"
"Mom, stop, take a deep breath and calm down," I ordered. She did as I said as seemed a lot better.
"So, you're stuck like this?"
I nodded. "There's nothing we can do,"
Mom stiffly nodded and gave me another hug.
"I missed you pup,"
"I missed you too mom,"

Everyone had gone up to bed, except for Bruce who was in the lab, Carson who was sitting on the couch, and me, at the other side of the couch.
I didn't know what to say. Even though everyone insisted that it wasn't my fault, I still blamed myself.
"Uncle Steve?" Carson spoke up. I glanced at her.
"Yeah doll,"
"You're blaming yourself, aren't you?"
I didn't answer, we both knew that I did. My gaze fell to my feet. I heard the couch dip slightly, as Carson moved over to me.
"Just because I got kidnapped right after our argument, doesn't mean it was your fault, it was a coincidence, I was going to go upstairs anyway,"
My eyes darted up to her. "You were?"
She nodded. "I was going to grab a book, it would have happened either way, it wasn't your fault," she said firmly. I pulled her into a hug, she didn't hate me.
"I'm so sorry for saying I didn't trust you, I do, my anger just went out of control, I'd trust you with my life,"
"And I'd trust you with mine,"

Carson had been back for three days now and doctor Banner had already run hundreds of tests on her to make sure hydra hasn't done anything else. Thankfully she seemed fine.
While she was gone we were all broken, but my pain was different. They had all lost a family member. I'd lost someone I truly loved. I hadn't thought I cared for her as much as I did, her disappearance made me realise it. I found myself dreaming of her, her eyes, her hair, her lips.
"You got it bad, kid,"
I came back to earth only to find Mr Barnes standing in front of me.
"What do you mean?"
Mr Barnes smirked. "Carson, you've fallen for her like a lovesick puppy," he stated, his smirk widening. I blushed and became veryyy interested in my feet, nice socks.
"A word of advice, don't go for all those romantic gestures that most people will tell you to use, you know Carson ain't that type of gal, you gotta do something more...her," he suggested. I looked up.
"And what about...everyone else?"
Mr Barnes looked thoughtful.
"Wanda, Cassie, Lila and Pepper will be fine with it, Steve, Sam, Scott and maybe Clint will most likely just tell you not to hurt her, Nat, Bruce and Thor may get a little protective, but since they know you it shouldn't be that bad. Vision should probably be okay, I can't imagine he'd freak about it. Your real problems are Stark, Loki, maybe Rhodes, Happy and Cooper," he predicted.
"So iron man, a frost giant, possibly war machine, iron man's old bodyguard and a very protective nineteen year old," I summed up. Mr Barnes nodded.
"Basically,"
"There's also a chance of the world's best assassin, THE ACTUAL HULK and the god of thunder might not react well,"
He nodded again. "Yeah, good luck kid, you're gonna need it,"
He walked away. I groaned.
'Oh I am so gonna need it,' I thought. 'Maybe I should talk to one of the ones who won't freak,'

"....WANDA,"
