Wild Dog 18

Wyatt's feet blurred forward as he ran full-tilt on the tiny treadmill in his bedroom. His heart was already well into racing after twenty minutes on the device, but he still felt as if he could run for another hour, at least!

He was just buckling down to go at least another twenty minutes when he heard a familiar chime begin to ring from his phone. The caller was immediately identified by their assigned song; Halo, by Beyoncé. It was an older song, but the moment he'd thought about putting a ring tone to Blake's number, the song just came to mind and stuck.

Thus, when that song suddenly began playing from his phone, his feet slipped and he went tumbling paws over tail all the way across the room and into the wall behind him! He smacked into it with his belly, his big back paws pressed up above his head as his ears slowly sank to the carpet from displeasure.

Thank god he hadn't seen that.

Wiggling his body a bit, he managed to flop over and hurry toward the bed. It only took one decent hop to get up onto it, then he hurried over to the phone he'd left there mid-shift back to his human form. He managed to hit the accept call button right as he came down onto the blankets on his belly!

When Blake's face came up on the screen a second later, Wyatt felt his little bunny tail, which was always a bit slow to go away, wiggle excitedly.

"Good evening, master Wyatt," Blake said with a gorgeous, contagious grin.

That blush and that face and those eyes...

Mentally shaking himself out of his stupor, Wyatt knew that he had to get down to business fast, because he knew who already had. He didn't blame the guy, either. He knew as soon as he saw Sage with Blake the other day that the guy would pounce, but he was also his best friend and was the most respectful person he knew. He told you what he wanted to, and that was that. There was no beating around the bush... unless he was messing with someone.

Mainly, me.

"May I ask you something before we start talking, love?" he asked, not wanting to wait.

Blake looked like he was about to readily agree, but then his face began to redden and Wyatt tilted his head, enjoying the blush but curious as to its reason.

"Is something wrong?" Wyatt asked as he leaned a little closer and adjusted the phone a bit.

Blake's face reddened further, making him begin to get nervous. That is, until the man glanced away from the phone and cleared his throat, then forced himself to speak clearly.

"M-master Wyatt, I definitely don't mind, but um... you are kind of flashing me."

 I'm flashing him...?

His mind took a moment to connect the dots, but then he remembered having literally shifted mid-reach for his phone!

Feeling like there was literally lava now crawling beneath the skin of his face, Wyatt quickly slapped the phone face down on the blankets, then hurried off the bed to tug on a pair of shorts and a shirt. Once he was decently covered up, he returned to sit on the bed cross-legged, then picked up the phone and tilted it up at his face... which, he had no doubt, was bright red by now.

Blake was clearly trying to hold back a giggle of laughter when he'd returned to the screen, but it was obvious and honestly, he loved the sound, even though he was laughing at him.

Laugh at me as much as you'd like. I was a bit of a goofball for not realizing that I was naked.

He'd been too excited to get to the phone before it dared go to voicemail.

"Welcome back, master Wyatt," Blake said, humor still clinging to his words.

I want to lick those lips.

"Sorry about that. I got so caught up in trying to get to the phone fast that I didn't even realize I was naked," Wyatt said as he looked away for a moment, still clearly a little uncomfortable with what he'd done.

He'd been naked in front of quite a few people before, and had had a lot more people naked in front of him, too, since he was a trainer at a pretty busy BDSM club, but it was never not consensual.

"It's alright, master Wyatt. Like I said, I really don't mind," Blake reassured him, nudging away what remained of the humor in his voice when he realized that he was honestly stressing about the mistake.

Alright, sulk later. He's not upset.

Pulling himself together after rubbing at the back of his neck a bit, Wyatt cleared his throat and tried to give a small smile.

"Alright, um... I wanted to ask you earlier, but is your neck healing up well?"

Blake nodded and tugged down the collar of the sweater he was wearing so that Wyatt could see.

"Yes sir, it's looking much better," he replied, making Wyatt smile, relieved.

"That's great. So, how have things been up there? How many awesome job offers have you already gotten?" he asked, trying his best to hide his slight upset from his words.

"Honestly, more than I thought I'd get. They must really be hurting for pediatrician's up here," Blake replied, making Wyatt's eyes go wide.

"That's so cool! You're a pediatrician? You must love kids, hmm?" he asked, honestly interested since he hadn't known his love's profession until right then.

Blake looked a little sheepish as he nodded.

"Yes sir, I like helping kids."

Wyatt considered something for a moment, then leaned forward slightly.

"Does your ability help you with them?" he asked, curious.

Blake quickly nodded, excited to talk about his interests.

"Yes, it's been such a great help. I know it's not something that people would probably appreciate being used on their kids, so I don't do it too often, but I work with special needs children or kids from stressful home situations and it really helps me understand those who are nonverbal or too stressed to talk much but want to convey messages. I also do a lot of work with the foster care system," he said, making Wyatt's heart nearly melt.

You are a gift to humanity.

He really didn't feel like he could even compare being just a pharmacist, but he quickly reigned himself in. His job was important, too, and helped a lot of people. Probably even some of the kids that Blake would be responsible for if he worked in the area.

If he worked in this area... we could help a lot of people, together. And we could go to lunch together, and live together, and— he quickly snapped himself out of his daydream before he was caught zoning out.

Don't be rude.

"That's really cool," he replied, earning a wider smile from Blake as the guy got comfortable on his own bed. It looked like he was still in a hotel, so he hadn't found a solid place to live yet.

"What do you do, master Wyatt? I noticed the other day when I was talking to you with Sage that you were at the club and dressed up pretty nice. Do you work there full time?"

Wyatt shook his head slightly and moved to lie down at the head of the bed so that he had some back support from his pillows.

"I'm a pharmacist. I only work at the club part time when they need a trainer for a new group of subs," he said, earning an understanding nod from Blake.

"How did your lunch with Sage go, by the way? He's a pretty straight-forward guy, so I image that he's already proposed to you?" he asked with a chuckle.

When Blake suddenly looked away as his face turned red, Wyatt felt his heart skip a beat. He took a deep, calming breath and after closing his eyes for a moment, opened them with a smile.

"I knew he wouldn't be able to help himself," he finally said, drawing Blake's adorable blushing face back to toward the screen.

"I can't be upset. He's been my best friend since we were kids, and is honestly the nicest, most charming, most stubborn bastard I've ever met," he said, earning a nervous chuckle from Blake.

"So then, do you like him? I imagine he took you to that delicious brunch place downtown, and let me tell you, those pastries can sway someone's heart after a single bite," he said jokingly, trying to lighten the mood.

Thankfully, it seemed to work, and Blake was soon talking about the delicious food and relaxing time he had with the guy. Even though his proposition had stressed him out a bit, he couldn't deny that Sage was very sweet and stunningly-handsome.

He had made himself call Wyatt as soon as he thought he'd be free to discuss the situation, though, which was that evening.

"I'm glad that you called and talked to me about this. We might not be together, but I've wanted to make it clear that I am very interested in you, too," Wyatt said honestly, silently upset with himself that he hadn't told the man sooner.

They'd both been going through things when they'd first met, and it had been kind of a whirlwind thing. Then suddenly, he wasn't there anymore and it hurt so much worse than he'd thought it would. Blake was literally a stranger to him, even now. Heck, he'd only just learned what the guy even did for a living, but even so, he wanted him to come back. If only to just give him a chance to be around him again.

Blake licked his lips and moved to lie against his pillows before lifting the phone above his head, making Wyatt want to be that phone hovering over him, looking down at his gorgeous face.

"He said something else that I think I should mention, too," Blake eventually said after a few moments of silence.

Wyatt tilted his head against the pillows.

"What else did he say?"

His love looked more embarrassed just thinking about the words, but thankfully he managed to get them out after a few seconds of trying.

"He said that he'd like me to be his sub... a-and that he wouldn't mind sharing with master Wyatt, since he knows that I already like you."

His rabbit did not like that idea. Though it did like the confirmation that Blake was interested in him.

But it's not just your choice.

Still, the animal was fuming in his mind, kicking its tiny feet and stomping constantly in displeasure. As far as it was concerned, Blake was already as good as collared, but that wasn't how it worked and the stubborn little beast knew it.

I think I've spoiled your fuzzy tail too much, behave.

It scoffed at him in his mind, making Wyatt mentally roll his eyes at it before returning his attention to the monumental situation at hand. He had never considered sharing anyone he decided to take as a submissive, so the idea was definitely new to him. At first, he had zero interest in even considering it, but when he looked at Blake's nervous, wide eyes, he bit his tongue and forced himself to actually reconsider the situation.

It wasn't that he didn't think that he could share. At least, he might be able to if it was with Sage, but at the same time, they were both very strict dominants, and Sage, himself, was a bit of a brat, too. He doubted that the guy had shown that side of himself yet, but he remembered it quite clearly. Especially during high school when their hormones were going a bit crazy.

He's definitely a dom... but he's a dom that tends to try to prey on other doms!

Well, he'd only ever seen the guy try to go after him, but still. If he did it to him, one of the most dominant people in the entire freaking city, he had no doubt that he'd tried his luck with others, too.

Biting back a sigh, Wyatt licked his lips and smiled.

"I can't say that I've ever thought about doing such a thing, but I'm not completely against it," he finally said, making Blake's expression relax a little bit.

"I do want to say that I don't know you enough, and you don't know us well enough, to really make that kind of decision yet, though."

Blake quickly nodded his agreement.

Maybe...

Pursing his lips for a moment, Wyatt nudged himself to talk, knowing that his chance to request what he wanted to would dwindle with each passing day.

"Um... if you haven't accepted any of those job offers yet, would you, perhaps, want to come back down here for a little while? J-just a few days, o-or a week..." he said, stuttering off into silence on his last few words.

Blake's eyes crinkled at the edges a tiny bit as he gave a quiet, nervous laugh before replying.

"That was actually the other thing I wanted to ask you about. Sage said that he had an extra ticket back home for tomorrow evening, since his sister, who was going to come down with him to visit for a bit, had things come up and couldn't go," he said, making Wyatt suddenly think that sharing with the man wouldn't be so bad.

"I'll pick you guys up from the airport!" Wyatt chimed in excitedly, unable to help his rabbit's hyper personality from slipping through his normally-well managed barriers.

Blake gave another chuckle and nodded.

"Thank you, that would be great. We land around seven, if that works? We can wait as long as you need, though," he added, clearly not wanting to be a burden if he wasn't off work by that time yet.

"Seven is fine! I'll be there," Wyatt replied, earning a final nod from Blake before the guy hid a yawn behind his hand.

It's getting late and you probably have to pack up at least some of your stuff. Hopefully all of it.

"Bed time, hmm?" he asked, getting a quiet tired laugh from Blake.

"Mm, I think so. Thank you for talking with me tonight, sir," he said, making Wyatt's heart do a little flip, mirroring his bunny in his mind.

"Of course. Call me anytime. I'll always answer," he said before hiding his own yawn and nuzzling into his pillows.

"Good night, master Wyatt... and by the way, your shirt is inside out and backwards," Blake said as he stuck his tongue out the slightest bit, then clicked End Call, turning the phone screen black in his hands.

"Uh..."

Wyatt stared at his phone, then looked down at his clearly-inside out shirt, then back up at his blank phone.

"That guy... is so fucking adorable."
