Between school, working and school Francesca hadn't been doing so much more.

She only had tomorrow left though then it was Easter and with that came Easter break. She didn't have any school but she had picked up extra shifts at work, mostly to get more money. Which she really needed right now. It wasn't cheap living in Paris, especially as a student. Sure her brother had offered to pay for school and her living etc but she didn't want his help, mostly because she didn't want to have owe her whole life to him. Which he didn't say she would but she knew she couldn't enjoy anything good that would happen to her if she did take his help because then it would be all " because he helped "and not because she made it happen with hard work. It was always like that in their family.

That was the negative side with having a rich brother. She really didn't care if he was rich though, he could be poor for all she cared, she'd still love him no matter what.

' I was thinking that we could go to dinner tonight ' Alessandra suggested as they were cleaning tables.

Francesca looked over to her best friend ' I'd love that ' she smiled back.

A customer came up to her and asked Francesca if she could get a bit of milk, she smiled, nodding as she went to get them their milk. ' There and don't hesitate to tell me if I can do anything else for you '

The brunette went back to her friend, letting out a big sigh. ' I have the closing shift today so I will meet you at home then we can go out to dinner after that '

Alessandra nodded ' which time do you end? '

Francesca thought for a moment, looked at the time. ' about 6 I think it was ' she replied. Looking at the time on her phone again, 4 hours. Just four more hours, you'll be fine.

' my shift ends in like 10 minutes so I will meet up with Anastasia because she had my camera and then I will go home and get ready ' she rambled on.

It would be quite nice to just sit down the two of them for once, ever since Alessandra got a boyfriend she had been busier. Which was fine, of course. But Francesca missed her friend, sure they saw each other daily as they were roommates but it wasn't the same as when they used to hang out. So she had been quite excited that Alessandra had asked her to go to dinner for once. She had needed a night out anyway.

' Bye Fran, I'll see you home later ' Alessandra hugged her friend goodbye, Francesca watching as she walked out the door of the cafe.

She sighed ' goodbye ' she whispered as she went back to serving customers.

The rest of her shift she wasn't in her best spirits, she was tired and she really wanted to go back home to Italy. That was all she could think about recently. Home. Home sweet home. She missed Maranello where her mother yet today still lived, even after all her children had moved from Maranello she still lived there because as she said and I quote ' it is my home and I don't leave my home ' It had always been her home, which had also made it Francescas home as she'd grown up there. Now when she was living in Paris she didn't quite feel the same, she felt alone for most part. Her friends had their boyfriends and families of some sort but she didn't have anyone except her friends here. Sure they were her whole world but she still missed her mothers home made meals, her brothers rants about some employee that had been awful and most of all she missed walking the streets of Maranello late at night. When most people were asleep, the calm feeling she used to feel. Now it was mostly a stressed feeling she was experiencing for most part of her week. Every week.

Though she couldn't complain that much, she was in the city of love for gods sake. Presuming her dream of studying art and hopefully becoming an artist later on. Her little self would be freaking out about that fact, if she only knew how it really was though.

About half an hour before closing time there weren't any people at all in the cafe, though she had an order that someone was gonna pick up, hence why she still was here. And much to her luck Alessandra had just texted her that she couldn't make it to dinner as she had to pick up her boyfriend from the airport, Francesca just sent a thumbs back to Alessandra's long, long apology message. She didn't want to be the potty friend who got mad, she just pretended to understand and let it be at that. Sure she was disappointed but she had no right to be mad.

Maybe she could just go out alone and eat? No that would be a bit too awkward for her. She had really needed some time with somebody that wasn't her own head. But it was what it was.

As she was sitting there, arms laid out on the table, head laid on top of them just having her head buried in her arms she heard the door open. She sighed as she got up and greeted the costumer, she gave them their order and when they had left she went back to her previous position, laying her head on top of her arms, not in a hurry because well she didn't have anything to hurry to anymore. It wasn't like she was doing anything special after this she was just going home to sleep. Maybe if she wasn't to tired watch a movie or continue on her series that she just had started. Hard choice, she would decide that once she was home though. She wouldn't be home for at least another hour and a half, maybe even two hours as she had to close the cafe and then take the bus home, the bus ride home took like 40 minutes alone.

So safe to say she wasn't in the biggest hurry, she could just stay in this position a few minutes more. But of course god said ' no, not today Fran '. She let out a frustrated sigh when she heard the door to the cafe open.

' non di nuovo ' she mumbled to herself, not getting up from how she was laying on the table. ' How can I help you ' she said with an annoyed tone, her head still buried in the table, she didn't care enough to sit up properly.

' puoi dirmi perché sembri così infastidito per uno ' she heard a familiar male voice say, along with a familiar laugh.

Her eyes widened as she saw the guy from last week, standing in front of the door. He smiled seeing her confused face. ' why do I seem to always catch you at your worst ' he laughed lightly.

' I don't know, maybe you are sent from god to be my saviour ' she said sarcastically. Rolling her eyes at him.

She saw a smirk form on his face. ' Clearly I am ' he replied, the smirk on his face growing bigger. ' you seem to forget your problems when I arrive '

She rolled her eyes once again as she went to the counter. ' what can I get you '

' A coffee thank you ' he said at the same time as looking around the cafe.

She put it in the register and then went to prepare his coffee while he paid for it. The whole time when she was making it he kept looking at her, following her every move.

' what are the odds though that we meet twice ' she said, breaking the silence.

He just shrugged. ' Maybe a sign from god ' he smirked again. Putting his elbows on the counter and his hands supporting his head.

' Or ' she handed him his coffee ' you are stalking me '

He just shrugged, his smirk growing as he looked into her eyes. ' Maybe I am '

She couldn't help but blush a bit, feeling her cheeks become warmer.

He sat down at one of the tables, gesturing for her to sit down across of him as well. She shook her head. ' I have to clean up, we close in 10 ' She explained.

' Sit with me for 5 minutes and I'll help you after that to clean up '

She thought about it, it would be nice with some help. Fuck it, why not. She sat down opposite of him, he smiled as he sipped his coffee.

' so how is my favourite Italian ' he asked.

She rolled her eyes at him, looking into his eyes. Leaning over the table. ' How is my favourite French boy doing '

He gasped at her, putting a hand over his heart. ' I already told you i'm monegasque NOT French! Those are two different types of people ' he had to point out.

She gave him an amused smile. ' If you say so Frenchie '

He just rolled his eyes at her as she laughed, he looked at her. Admiring her smile and soft laugh. ' Why are you in here in Paris if you're from Italy ' he asked her. A bit from nowhere but he had been meaning to ask it anyway.

' I wanted to attend art school ' she shrugged ' it was always my dream to do it growing up and when I managed to get into the best art school in Paris I wasn't about to give that up so I took it and moved here with my best friend Alessandra who got into the same school but the photography class instead of the art class '

He let out a small hum as he sat there, thinking about what she'd said. ' and you started working here when you moved here? ' he asked.

' Yeah ' she smiled slightly ' I had to earn money to live, it isn't free to live here '

He nodded as he drank some of his coffee. ' what do you work with ' she asked, changing the subject.

He looks a bit panicked but he kept calm ' I drive cars you could say '

' So you're like a chauffeur? '

He smiled ' you could kinda say that '

She hummed, looking at his eyes. There was something mysterious with him, she couldn't quite put her tongue at what it was but it was something about him.

' I really have to get cleaning though ' she let out a big sigh. Placing her head on the table.

He smiled ' I'll help come on ' he replied as he got up and held out his hand for her to take. She took it as he started putting up chairs and she cleaned tables.

After they were done Francesca got changed out of her work clothes and put on her black coat then as they were leaving she locked up the cafe. Standing out in the not so cold Paris night she was about to leave but turned back to him. She saw him still standing there, looking at her.

' Thank you ' she smiled ' you have no idea how much I needed someone's company right now '

He smiled at her ' You don't have to thank me, I loved talking to you '

She hesitated for a moment but then decided to go up and hug him, which she did and he was taken by surprise at first. Freezing at the spot but then hugged her back.

' Bye mystery boy ' she whispered before she walked off, leaving him by himself.

' Bye mystery woman ' he whispered to himself.
