I was very exhausted after a long day at my office. I went to the groceries to buy myself you snacks as I was out of them. I went in and picked up some banana cakes, my favourite mango juices and some other snacks aswell.

I went to the counter for the bill. I got outside the grocery store and took out the oreo ice-cream from the cover and started to have it. I then looked up to the clear sky spread across with beautiful stars which I was always found quite fascinating and mysterious.

I then remembered that time of my childhood, when my mom used to always take me out of our home to a park and always used to give me some facts about the universe. Ever since then I wanted to look up to ask the eye-catching sites and visit such places. Like witnessing the northern lights.

"I wonder how it would be now if you were still with me, mom" I say trying not to let my tears out. After that incident in my childhood which made me lose my parents, I was never again lucky like the other kids who had both parents with them and I used to envy looking at them.

I quickly finished having my icecream and was driving back home. The trafiic was quite bad unlike the usual time. While I was driving through one of the aera, I saw a women who was being stalked by a creepy guy dressed all unknown and the women was very scared. I got out of my car and smashed a punch on the guy's face.

"I'm going to report you to the police for stalking and trying to touch a women inappropriately!" I say out of my anger. I then call the police and tell them about the incident and waiting for them to arrive and till then I held that bastard. While I looked up at the woman, it was Irene! I can't believe it was her. The police quickly came and took him with them. I thanked them and approached Irene. She was sitting down while closing her ears just not to listen to anything and she was shivering and afraid.

"It's okay, Irene. Everything is fine now" I said making sure that she is now safe.

She looked up at me and bawled her eyes out and started to cry. I was feeling very sorry for her. I patted her back so that she would calm down. But then I saw her hands were still shivering in nervousness. I held one of her hand and rubbed with my thumb.

"Let's go home" I said

She agreed and got inside the car. I was figuring out how to comfort her from all that she went through.

"Take the cover from the back seat" I said in which there were all the snacls which I bought earlier.

"It's okay. I'll be going home now anyways"

"You look very tired and this traffic is not going to let us through easily" I said. But she was concerned that I bought these for myself and was hesitant. I told her that I was fine and she took the mango juice. Does she like it too?

"Thank you" she said. I couldn't reply to her as I'm not sure what to say when someone thanks me.

"What were you doing there?" I asked

"I came to explore the city and after I was done I wanted to go home knowing it was time for my brother to come back and I wanted to make him some dinner. But then I was chased by a pervert" she said.

"Irene, I understand that you are curious about exploring this new place. But you must also be a bit alert to yourself. You could've atleast taken a tourist guide for yourself"

"yes. I was careless. When I explore places I just don't indulge in anything else other than what I am witnessing and I forget everything about what I am going through and I forget myself. My mom tells me the same, to be alert when I'm too happy. But I keep making the same mistake". She sounded a bit sad while saying this.

Soon after saying this, she slept. She was scared and tired and was snoring in a cute way. Looking at her sleep like this, I couldn't help but I chuckled. I took out a mini blacket which I carry around with me just in case and put it on her as she was feeling cold because of the airconditioner. I just got a random thought on how she looks like a kitten.

After I drove for a while, we reached home. I didn't want to wake her up as she was sleeping comfortably.

"Irene, we've reached home" I said waking her up.

"Oh! Already?"

"Yeah"

"Thank you so much for your help today, I'm very grateful to you" she said with a bright smile on her face.

I give her a gentle smile and wave to her. She rushes to get inside the house who was excited to see her brother. I took my car and drove back home.

After getting home I got a thought that Irene is definitely not going to tell her brother about what has happened today as she would think that he might scold her. But what if I called Damian and explain him what happened so that he can take care of her from next time?

I quickly dailed to Damian and called him.

"Aiden, hellooo dude"

"Hey, I just wanted to talk to you about something"

"Alright, what is it?"

"Promise me that you won't blame your sister"

"Dude, I will rather understand her. But what happened?"

I explained Damian about whatever has happened and told him not to pick that topic up again in front of her as she might get nervous. As Damian is a great brother he understood what I told him and thanked me for my help.

*I'm going to stop writing from the characters individual POV instead I'll be writing from both the characters POV as a narrator as both the characters POV is the same(I am truly sorry for this update)*
