[Marinette's POV]

I woke up, it was way too cold to get out of bed and honestly looking outside. The wanted me to never leave this bed. I was tired from the night before, Adrien and I had a Christmas Eve dinner with his dad which was really awkward by the way, anyways when we got home we watched 2 movies and we went to bed 3 am. This night there would be a huge party for designers, models and other famous people, because I was in New York with the Agreste's I was invited too and I couldn't be more excited.

My thoughts were interrupted by a knock on the door, ''Mari can I come in?!'' Adrien asked.

I groaned, ''Why are you up so early?!''

''It's Christmas Mari!'' he sounded way too excited. I sighed ''Give me a sec..'' I got up out of bed and put on my bra, because of course I didn't wear that all the time at least not while sleeping. I walked over to the door and opened it, ''What do you want?''

''I have a present for you!'' there was a childish sparkle in his eyes and a huge grin on his face, like he was a 3 year old again on Christmas morning. ''I have one for you too, but couldn't that like wait?'' I muttered, walking back to my bed.

''No! It couldn't!'' he followed me and sat down on my bed. ''You are so annoying..'' I said. ''I know, I know.. But do you want your present or not?'' he asked, ''Yes of course.'' I said. He handed me a tiny box, jewelry size, badly wrapped in Christmas wrapping paper. It was kinda cute though, the poor guy tried so hard and it looked like crap. I took it and unwrapped it, on the inside was a necklace.

Not just a necklace, it was a beautiful necklace and way too expensive for a Christmas present. But so beautiful. ''Adrien.. I.. This was really expensive, wasn't it?'' I asked him.

''No refunds..'' he grinned ''Do you like it?''

''Like it? I love it! But my present.. I.. I can't..'' I stuttered looking down at the necklace. ''Mari, shhtt... Let me put it on, okay?'' he asked and I slowly nodded.

I lifted my hair so he could put it on and he did, ''Do you.. Do you still want my present?'' I mumbled. ''Uhm.. Yes!'' he nodded.

I got up and walked into my closet, it was walk-in and I had hidden the present there.

Back on my bed I handed it to him, he unwrapped it and his eyes lit up. "Mari this is so cool! Did you?" he asked.
"Yeah.. I made it." I nodded.

He put it on ''It's so comfy! I'm gonna wear it forever!'' his smile made my day.

One hour later we were sitting at the kitchen table eating our breakfast pancakes, ''So.. Tonight we have a Christmas party, what do you wanna do the rest of the day?'' Adrien asked.

''Hmm.. What about walking around the city for a while?'' I asked. ''Sounds good to me.'' he nodded with a smile.

We'd been walking around the city a lot the past days and every time I was so amazed by everything. It gave me the best inspiration for my designs, still my spot in Paris wasn't to be beaten.

''Soo.. '' he mumbled, ''We should get changed and get going..'' he said and I nodded.

It was cold outside, very cold. We were just walking around, we didn't say much. It was such a busy city yet the walk was very peaceful. We arrived at this downtown café, it was open even though it was Christmas. ''I'm dying for some hot chocolate.'' Adrien said as he opened the door. ''And a blueberry muffin.'' I finished.

I sat down at a table and Adrien went to the counter to order, when he returned and at down he sighed. ''What's wrong?'' I asked, ''I don't want to go to that party tonight.'' he mumbled ''It's always the same. Same people, same music, same food. It's boring.''

''Well, I can't say I agree since I have never been to a party like this but if you don't want to go, we can stay in the appartement?'' I said, yes I was excited to go but if it was that boring I didn't have to go.

''You want to go, right? What if we stay till' you get bored?'' he asked, ''Sounds good to me..'' I nodded.
