I left the bathroom, relieved to see Alex didn't follow. Walking past her cube, I saw her led on her bed, huddled up against the wall. This made me upset, how could I do this to her?

"Chapman, yo Chapman?"

Nicky shook my shoulder and I woke up.

"Nicky, what are you doing?" I said rubbing my eyes.

"Piper it's 9am now get up." Nicky said folding her arms.

"Alright alright, what's all this about?"

"You need to talk to Alex, she's been in tears all morning. And oh, you missed breakfast." Nicky said with an unimpressed look.

"I don't care about breakfast. And I know, I will talk to her, I just don't know what to say."

"Well, I'm not helping you. You got into this mess, you'll get yourself out. " she turned on her heels and walked towards the canteen.

I sighed and stood up ready for this 'exciting' day.
The prison is quite quiet at this time of day, everybody is working. I should be but I really just cannot be bothered.

"Chapman! Get to work, NOW!" Mendez yelled at me.

I put my hands up in surrender and trailed off to the laundry room.
Near the TV room, I saw a new inmate in her orange jumpsuit, she looked very confused and looked like she didn't know where she was going. So as nice as I am, I walk over to welcome her when I see Alex leant against the wall talking to this girl. She pushed her hip out and had her hand on it. Was she flirting with this girl? I've always been the jealous type, especially when it comes to Alex, I mean she's gorgeous, she always has the girls around her.
I walked over to the two of them and as soon as Alex saw me, she leant off the wall.

"Well it's nice to meet you Stella, but if you don't mind, I have to get going" she threw me a rude glare and walked off.

"Al-"

"Hi I'm Stella Carlin. Do you mind showing me around?".

She had black boyish hair and was covered in tattoos. Not bad.

"Uh yeah sure."
