Iliana wakes up confused and scared. She doesn't know where she's at. Just as she starts to panic a familiar presence makes itself known. "Shhh, Iliana, it's alright. You're safe here."

"Isaac, where am I?" Iliana starts calming down but wonders where Blake is.

"You are in the hospital. Blake and the others will be pleased to know that you woke up finally. He'll be pissed that he wasn't here when it happened though." Isaac tells her with relief and no little amusement. He wasn't kidding. One of the few times that Blake wasn't there and Ili actually does wake up.

"Where is he?" Iliana says panic coming into her voice.

"I'm right here, Ili. It's alright. You need to calm down. We damn near lost you once they weren't sure that you'd come back a second time." Blake says coming through the door. He'd had a feeling he needed to get back to the hospital and he was right.

"Why am I here?" Iliana asks with tears coming to her eyes, "And why can't I move?"

Blake sighs and Isaac is more than willing to move so that Blake can take her hand and answer the questions.

"I'm just going to let the others know that she's awake." Isaac says to Blake then turns to Iliana, "Welcome back, love. You damn near gave us all heart attacks, please just relax and rest. After the others look you over, please send them off to get some sleep and to eat. No one has wanted to leave your side."

Iliana gives them both an incredulous look. "Why would they want to stay by me?"

Blake looks at her worried. Does she not remember any of the last week? "Ili, what is the last thing you remember?" Blake asks her gently as Isaac slips out the door.

This is where the scene gets confusing for Iliana. She sees both her younger self talking to Blake and Isaac as he tells the others that she's awake. She decides to focus on Isaac since she already knows that she told Blake that she remembers the luau type dinner but nothing after that.

Isaac goes out. The others brothers are confused, usually the one that is sitting with Ili doesn't leave until their time is up. "Isaac?" Phoenix is the one to speak up.

Isaac can't keep up the blank look on his face as he smiles brightly. "She's awake." Then his smile fades and sadness takes over. "She says that she can't move."

The look of horror replaces the happiness on their faces. Iliana is very active physically, not being able to move would be her nightmare.

"That's all I know right now. I told Blake and Iliana that I would let the nurse know so that she could call the doctor in."

The others nod as they get up and make their way into Iliana's room. They need to see for themselves to believe that she is out of danger of dying. They aren't looking forward to her not being able to move. That definitely won't help her temper. She doesn't show it often, but it is legendary. She mostly takes it out on the gym equipment and they are all thankful for that.

They all go in and give her a kiss and a smile.

Iliana looks them over and doesn't smile. "You all look like shit. When was the last time you ate or slept?"

Blake tries to not smirk but Iliana sees it, "You are no better Blake."

"We couldn't eat much or sleep without knowing if you would awaken. Especially once your heart failed." Preston tells her.

Iliana sniffs, "How long have I been out of it?"

"It's been five days, I think?" Blake responds after thinking about it. The boys also take the time to think about it and agree with him.

"So less than two weeks ago you wouldn't even have noticed if I was gone, but now you wouldn't leave my bedside because you were afraid I would die?" Iliana guesses that she hasn't forgiven them as much as she had thought she had.

They all hang down their heads at her words. "You're right, Ili. It is a little unbelievable for you. We've all done a lot of damage to our relations ship with you. I had hoped that the trip would help fix things."

"It did, but, I'm sorry, broken trust isn't that easy to fix. It seems to be a cycle with you boys. We are close, then for whatever reason you pull away or allow yourselves to drift away. You don't talk to me or you ignore me when I'm around. Then something happens, something big or very traumatic and all of a sudden you are all wanting to go back to before. You think just your words will be enough. You do quite well for some time, then once things are going well you start drifting or allow work to come between us. I am not stupid and realize that you can't spend as much time with me as when we were children, but going days with out speaking to me and ignoring my existence? No, there is no excuse for that.

"Before the trip I was dead set on leaving. Then suddenly you are all wanting to spend time with me again. How long will it last this time? A week, a month, a year? I bet it won't last longer than a year. Hell, if I can't even sit myself up I doubt that you will even stick around that long. Not much fun being around a giant baby, is there?"

The boys want to protest her words but at her look shut their mouths.

"I doubt that Blake will allow me to leave at this point so we'll see just how long your attention lasts this time."

"You are right, Ili. The penthouse doesn't have the proper staff to help with all your needs. The gym is smaller and is public. I've already had a bedroom on the ground floor converted to hospital standards, only more comfortable. I'll hire full time nursing care once you are ready to go home. I'll make sure that you get all the care you need so that when you are ready, you will be able to decide to stay or leave.

"This will give us time to fix the mess we made of things between us. I've already made changes, I'll be working from home unless I'm absolutely needed in the office. Most of the meetings we can make into video calls so I shouldn't have to go in very often."

"Isaac and I will be alternating days at the office and days working at home. We'll be bringing home and taking in the papers that Blake will need to work at home. We'll be prepping the vice presidents to take more of the overseas meetings that can't be completed by video call." Preston tells her.

She looks at the boys around her, "Sure. Sounds good and your intentions are great. Let's just see how long it lasts. Like I said, I doubt it will be longer than a year."

Iliana then focuses on Blake, "I want to be in on the hiring interviews of the caregivers. I won't permit someone I don't like being in charge of my body care."

"Of course. I'll make sure all the candidates are female-" Blake stops at the look that Iliana is giving him.

"Why are you only allowing female caregivers? Do you not think that males will do the job right or that they won't be professional?"

"Ili..." Blake says pained. He doesn't like the thought of a male being that close to her especially when bathing her.

The doctor comes in then so what Iliana would have said remains unsaid, but the look says it all. Blake sighs defeated, he'll allow males to apply as well. The last thing he wants if for Iliana's health to go down from fighting about this. If she will feel comfortable with a male taking full care of her then he'll allow it. Unhappily, but he'll allow it.
