I'm writing this opening note with the completion of this story, 2 years after this story was originally posted. There's a few things that should be addressed before we begin.

First and foremost: this is a bxb story, meaning all actions and romance focus on two male characters. To anyone this offends 1) I'm sorry 2) fucking leave asshole why are you even here

Secondly; while Thomas Sangster and Dylan O'Brien are real people, this story is merely a work of fiction. I do not claim that the events that take place in this story have occurred nor will ever occur.

Thirdly; I do not own The Maze Runner movie. Any references made and any characters involved belong to James Dashner and the creators of the film.

There are warnings at the beginnings of certain chapters for mentions of rape, child abuse, fighting, smut etc. There are a lot of dark themes as this novel progresses, so please be safe and take care of yourself.

This story is unedited and cringy af, but I'm not going to go back and change any of it. I'd like to be able to go back in ten years and see just how much I've grown as a writer, and since I started this so long ago, I think it's only fitting to keep it as it is originally. This is your official and only warning that this story is really fucking cliche in a lot of places, but hey, it's a fanfiction, not a bestselling novel.
