Plans

I get up as always, not wanting to. Then I look to the clock beside of my bed, it reads 10:00am. Panic sets as I start mumbling, "holy hell I'm going to be so late for school!" I click on my electronic to open it so I can find the temperature for the day. I a start reading the weather today I see 'weather for Saturday.' Aggressively blinking to make sure I've read it right and, it does in fact stay the same, I calm down. With my heart still going like 50 miles an hour (because fun fact we use both miles and kilometres Canada) I make my way down stairs.

Getting my hair out of my face I walk up to the stove and take out a pan and put it on one of the burners. Stepping over to the fridge I grab out an egg and some milk. Taking the spatula out from the cupboard I toss some butter on to the pan and turn on the heat. I crack an egg onto the pan and add a splash of milk into it. After mixing it around for a while I turn off the heat and grab a bowl and fork. I push the eggs into the bowl, stick my fork in it and walk back to my room.

Being the average teenager I am I pull out my phone to watch tiktok while eating my eggs. Mindlessly scrolling through I encounter a weird variety of videos. Including my personal favourite, a capybara with an orange on its head. Hearing my fork painfully scrape against the bottom of the bowl I leave tiktok and put my phone away. I very slowly get up putting the dishes on the counter by the closet room to the stairs so when I go down I'll hopefully remember to take them.

I go back to my room, close the door then flop onto the bed. Groaning in boredom I contemplate what to do. Go outside? Hell no today's a day off I'm not leaving this house. Well what about F/n? They have what they like to call 'force family fun time' so there out of the question. What about 1-meme? It's only like 4am for them so I have like another 6 hours at least for them.

I toss my head around in annoyance then spot it. Books, there's a trilogy in my room right now I can read those. I grab out the book and murmur out loud, "443 pages, ok page one..." *Insert book induced trance here* "what the hell I can't believe that!" I angrily huff out. Well that was like four hours so I've go at least 2 to burn. Picking up the second book I look at it's page count. 512 pages, that'll take me till 2am to finish it and I know that once I pick it up I'm not putting it down till it's done. Whelp time for YouTube and taking at least 1 of those 2 hours finding something that I wanna watch. NateWantsToBattle? Peace Sign? Seems boring onto the next video.

A/n: oh boy do I love starting a book in quarantine 2021 and only getting random spurt of creativity writing a paragraph then stoping for at least a month. Shout out to that one person that added my book into one of there reading list for giving me a reason to finish this chapter.
