That's Just Like Your Opinion Man

"Alright, get yo ass up." Noel ordered, standing up. Feeling around in his pockets for his keys. Once his fingers grazed metal, he pulled it from his pockets and headed for the door. He pulled his hood off in order to toss his hat to the couch.

"Are we going somewhere?" Cody scrambled to get up. He followed Noel around the corner. Once rounding the corner he was whisked into Noel's arms. Noel pulled at Cody's grey hoodie so he could kiss him.
Cody made a little surprised 'mmm-mm' noise and then pressed into it, slipping his tongue into Noel's mouth. Noel slid his hands down to Cody's hips, underneath the hoodie. Cody rewarded him with a groan, pushing Noel back into the wall to grind into him.

"Hey, hey. " Noel turned his head to the side. Cody moves his lips to Noel's neck, lightly biting. "I actually want to go on a date, man." Cody groaned in response, his hands wrapping around Noel tighter as he sucked on his neck.

"I'm serious." Noel softly pushed at Cody's shoulders, putting a little distance between them.

"Oh no, I do too." Cody replied, his eyes wild, a flush to his cheeks.

"If you don't want to date, I get it. This is all really weird for me too."

"Yeah."

"I just don't want to just fuck around. I don't think that would be good for our friendship or let alone our careers or whatever." Noel relayed his feelings, Cody just stayed silent. Staring into the middle distance.

"Damn, Cody." Noel, placed his hands on either side of his face, his thumb caressing Cody's cheek. "I'm not trying to freak you out man. I just.. I don't know." Noel practically whispered. Everything between them had gotten so soft lately. It was different and overall Noel had welcomed it, but the more time they spent together and the more they hooked up Noel began to think that Cody wasn't as into the relationship portion as he was.

"I like you so fucking much that it scares me." Cody admitted, making eye contact with Noel.
"This is all so new and different to me. Not just the sex part and not even the gay shit, but like I don't know. I want to be with you all the fucking time and honestly it's exhausting, but whenever I'm not with you I feel so awful."

"Fuck." Noel spoke, letting out a shaky breath he didn't know he was holding. "I feel the same."

"Cool." Cody responded, inching his face towards Noel. He pressed a soft kiss to his lips. Noel pressed back, his heart pounding hard and fast.

"Do you wanna go on a date then?" Noel asked quietly, as Cody stepped back, straightening himself up.

"Hell yeah."

A mid-afternoon date to Yogurtland wasn't really what Noel had in mind, but it felt right. They walked around the mall acting like fucking idiots and it was so comfortable.

"You know, if we just say that every time we've done shit like this it was a date, this would be our 105th date." Cody remarked, tossing his empty yogurt container into the garbage.

"Nah, we didn't know we liked each other like that then. It's not the same." Noel argued, tossing his as well.

"Besides that, what makes this any different?" Cody pressed, spotting the H&M in the distance and leading Noel that way.

"We fuck." Noel said at regular volume, causing a middle aged white woman to scowl in their direction. Cody laughed aloud.

"No. I'm saying, what makes this a date?" Cody questioned, stopping in his tracks. Noel sighed, holding out his right hand. Cody scoffed, going to shake Noel's hand.

"You're an idiot." Noel said while laughing. He hit Cody's right hand away, reaching for Cody's left. Once they made contact, he intertwined their fingers, squeezed once, and pulled on Cody until he walked with him towards H&M.

"Oh, ok. Dope." Cody muttered under his breath. This was different than any other time they'd been here. This was better.
