I am at the ducal's state, inside Celeste's room with Shan

Celeste is still unconscious and I'm looking after her, after all, I'm the one who brought them in the temple and I'm the one in charge of them for now

"Lady auntie, is she gonna be okay?" Shan asked

"Don't worry, she'll be fine, she's just resting now, Shan," I replied

Shan's face is worried, he pats her sister's head

"Take a good rest, Celeste, as soon as you recover, you'll see a lots of flower crowns! I'm gonna make them for you! I promise! So please,"

I feel like my heart aches, Elliote isn't like this when we were small.

I can't believe Shan's share the same DNA with my brother

"Where is she!?!"

I turned around and saw Elliote entering the Celeste's room

As soon as he saw Celeste sleeping peacefully in her bed, he sigh

He looks at me, "What happened?"

"She collapsed, and I have something to tell you, earlier, before she go unconscious, she said that the snake talked to her." I said

"She...understands the snake?" He asked

"Probably, she looks so pale earlier and I can tell she's scared. It's not normal for a four year old to understand some creatures such as snakes." I responded

He thought for a second then Shan touched him

"Dad, lady auntie said Celeste is gonna be okay. Don't worry, dad, as her brother, I'll protect Celeste no matter what!"

Elliote smiled at Shan then pats his head

"She'll be fine as long you're around her, Shan, keep your sister safe always."

"Yes, dad!"

Elliote hugged him, I can tell in his face that he's blessed that these little angels came to his life

He got quite big improvement for his character. He's not cold hearted like he used to be.

Shan is sleeping inside Celeste's room, he wanted to keep her sister safe even at her sleep

Elliote looked at me, "Tell me, do you think Celeste is blessed by Gods?" He asked

"I don't know, brother, but we should keep an eye on her." I responded

"No one in our bloodline can communicate to a snake or even other animals, not even in the imperial family."

"I think I've read it on a book, a prophecy about the future."

"Prophecy?"

"Written in the book, there'll be a woman with supernatural skills in our empire."

"Most prophecy is not true, Eloise, we can't be based on that."

"I guess, I'm looking after her as soon as she wakes up, if there's anything I'll notice, I'm gonna tell you and princess Shae right away."

"There's no need to tell Shae about this."

"Why not? She's her mother."

"I don't want her to be worried and be stressed,"

"You want to keep this a secret?"

"If that means that I can protect my children and my wife, then yeah, I want to keep this as a secret"

"I'm afraid I will not agree with you. Keeping this a secret will not protect your children and your wife, our empire will be destroyed sooner or later, if Celeste really has superhuman abilities then we should tell the imperial family about it. If you're planning to keep this a secret, there'll be possiblity that Celeste will suffer from trauma and her highness would go insane without knowing everything."

He didn't respond

"I guess our conversation shall end today. Please think about what I just said, or else you're gonna make it worse for your family."

I left after that. A very tiring day.

I guess I spoke too soon about it.
