Chapter 9

3rd Person POV

In the quieter end of Wiltshire stood a grand Elizabethan style house. Its roof was slanted to shape the outline of this large manor house. It had large floor length windows, set over 4 stories it was definitely a home to the wealthy. The house also had acres of land surrounded by a high neatly cut bush protecting the house from nosey muggles. The house had a large long drive way leading up to the front of the house. A overly done water fountain was towards the front and directly parallel to it further down the driveway stood some tall predatory iron gates made to get rid of unwanted visitors. The house was dark but held power and danger putting visitors of before reaching the intimidating gates. But every witch and wizard knew that this was the home of two wealthy and powerful magical beings. This home was called Malfoy Manor...

Inside the house it carried on the theme of wealth and power. Everything wooden looked hand crafted and made especially for the house itself. The centre of the ground floor had a large grand staircase leading up to the first floor. The centre lounge had a huge fireplace with green fire warming the room. Moving photos were hung on the walls. Infront of the fire was 3 large black high quality sofas. On the sofa closest to the green fire lay Mrs Malfoy. With a glass of wine in her hand and a large book in the other she gazed into the fire absorbing all the warmth the fire had to offer.

"Cissy I'm home" " In here darling" Narcissa called from the lounge. Following the sounds of his wife's voice Lucius Malfoy entered the lounge to be met with Cissa on the sofa with a glass of wine in her hand. He strolled over to greet his wife with a peck on the lips. "Have you found a trace on Arabella yet?" Cissa asked. It had been 8 years since their 3 year old daughter went missing. She was a right beauty and was the perfect image of her mother and father, named Arabella Narcissa Malfoy she had everyone wrapped around her little finger even her Aunt Bellatrix. She had extremely wavy hair just like her Aunt but it was a blonde as the rest of her family, she got on extremely well with her twin brother Draco and they enjoyed running around the house much to Lucius's dislike. But like everything good in the world it couldn't last forever just 3 months after her 3rd birthday someone at the hour of twilight crept into her room and just like that she was gone. Her family looked for her for 2 whole years but with no luck the ministry proclaimed Arabella Narcissa Malfoy dead. A funeral took place and in the Malfoy allotment full of their ancestors stood a lonesome grave where Arabella's body should lay......

"I'm sorry but no on a brighter note i bumped into our son today at Hogsmeade with his friends. But there was one that caught my eye" Lucius exclaimed turning his thoughts to the muggle born girl that hung around with his son. A slight squeeze on his left hand brought him out of his thoughts. "Care to expand on that sweetheart i am unable to read thoughts who caught your eye?" Cissa asked looking her husband straight in the eye. "There was this muggle born girl who hung around with Draco she appeared to best friends with Sapphire. Her name was Cettyana but she looked so familiar like i had seen her before!" He pondered thinking back to his deceased daughter 8 years ago. "I remember her she was at Madam Malkins's the day i got Dracos robes. You don't think -" "what" "- that she could be Arabella!" Cissa finished trying to not get her hopes up that they may finally find their daughter. "I'm not sure Cissy she did look familiar and a lot like you. I'll pull some strings at work to try and find out. But you must understand you can't get your hopes up sweetheart it had been a long time" All Narcissa could do was nod finally there seemed to be a light at the end of the tunnel. Sitting with her husband they cuddled up and stared into the bright green fire. Together...
