Will was basically adopted by Clarisse after the battle of Manhattan when he went up to her after he left Percy and annabeth alone and Chiron had told him he was the new head consoler of the Apollo cabin because he was the oldest left ,and asked her why she was sad and she explained that someone close to her died because she was to stubborn to help and how it was all her fault and little Will comforted her and all she could think was "I will protect this child with my life" she then asked him where  his cabin mates were and told him she would take him back to them and he teared up and said " Most of them died at the bridge I'm now the new head consoler" it was then her turn to comfort the younger and she thought "I will single handedly kill that entire army for what they did to this kid they won't survive my rath" and from then on she adopted  WIll people soon found out not to ness with he young head counselor or they would get a betting from the daughter of ares witch none of them wanted because that usually meant 2-4 week in the infirmary sometimes even more  but as time went on she ended up adopting the entirety of the Apollo cabin  

when will started to date Nico she treated him just like how the seven threatened will.
