You woke up in your room the next day, feeling strangely suffocated. At first, you just thought it was [Pet Name] but after realising that the skin you felt clearly didn't belong to your beloved pet, you almost shot up in shock.

To your surprise, you were met with Keisuke's sturdy arms hugging the life out of you from the front, while Chifuyu hugged you from the back. Takemichi had fallen off the bed, most probably the work of Keisuke's destructive kicks in his sleep.

"Keisuke, for the love of God... Could you please let go?" You whispered, not wanting to cause too much noise, "Ngh, just sleep, princess... It's a weekend, anyways." He huskily replied and you just frowned at his words.

Just because it's a weekend didn't mean they could just hug you to death!

"Keisuke, I swear to God if I die because your sorry ass suffocated me, I'll haunt you for eternity!" He let out soft chuckled against the skin of your collarbone, tickling you slightly.

"That... doesn't sound too bad, if you stayed with me for eternity then maybe I wouldn't mind."

"Well, I would, jackass! Get off!" You scowled and pushed him away. You really needed to get up and make breakfast.

After some struggling and almost throwing Keisuke out of your window, you managed to finally get up.

The first thing you did was brush your teeth and wash your face, letting the three boys (in this case, two since Takemichi was thrown off the bed) hug each other instead of you. With a small smile, you grabbed your red scarf and wrapped it around your neck, warming your instantly.

With that done, you began to walk downstairs and into the kitchen. You were greeted with your father sitting on the dining table, drinking his morning tea while reading the newspaper, "Morning, sweetie!" He greeted and you smiled at his enthusiasm, "Good morning, dad! You seem rather excited..." You questioned, acting nonchalant as if you didn't talk about the fact that you'll be getting murdered in about a month, last night.

"Yeah, I can finally spend some time with my cute princess today! I've been so busy, that I totally forgot about our beach trip... sorry [Name]... I feel so bad!!" He cried out, sulking in his seat as you grabbed the eggs from the fridge, "Ah, don't feel bad, dad! You've been working hard, right? It's fine, please don't worry!"

He seemed rather jolly after your reassurance, making you smile as you saw his happy mood return, "Anyways, I've decided..." He started, and you turned to him while frying one of the eggs.

"-we're going... to the beach!!" He declared and you could help but gawk at him, "T-The beach? Today?" He nodded, "Yup! It's my day off and you don't have school either, right? [Brother Name] doesn't have any classes today either! So it's best today!"

You blinked a few times before an excited grin unconsciously made way to your lips, "Yeah! That sounds fun!" As you both giggled happily, [Father Name] heard someone coming down from the stairs. He turned his head to see Takemichi walking over while rubbing his eyes, "Good morning..."

"Oh, are you one of [Name]'s friends?"

The boy almost seemed startled from your father's sudden appearance, but he quickly collected himself and nodded firmly, "Y-Yes! I'm one of her friends!" You smiled at the boy while replying him with a soft, "Good morning, " he heaved a relieved sigh when he saw your father smile at him as well.

Your father sure seemed like a chill guy.

"Is that so? Well, I'm glad [Name] has so many people with her, it puts me at ease..." Your father cooed, a soft smile playing on his lips as he folded his newspaper to set it aside and focused his attention on the time leaper.

"Well, what's your name, young man?" The blonde almost seemed ashamed that he still hadn't introduced himself yet. With a sharp bow, the blue eyed boy started, "I-I'm Hanagaki Takemichi! It's a pleasure to meet you, sir!!"

"Ahaha, no need to bow so formally, son! But I'm kinda surprised, you have the hair of a delinquent, yet your eyes are so clear and gentle... You seem like a good kid, Hanagaki-kun..."

Takemichi looked away bashfully and your smile only grew further while putting some bread in the toaster

"Thank you, sir..." [Father Name] chuckled slightly, "Just call me [Last Name], calling me sir makes it seem like I'm your boss!"

"Yes, [Last Name]-san!!" Your father grinned at Takemichi's rather determined responses, "That's more like it, son." Meanwhile, you heard two more pair of footsteps descending the stairs. You turned your head from the scene of your father and Takemichi to see Chifuyu and Baji walking down while rubbing their tired eyes.

"Ah, good morning you two!" You greeted and the pair almost blushed upon seeing your form, an apron tied in front of you, cutely smiling at them while plating their breakfast.

'Wifey material....' Both Chifuyu and Keisuke seemed to share the same thought. It was almost like telepathy that the two reconciled friends shared when it came to you.

Because they immediately snapped their necks in each other's direction, staring with wide eyes. Meanwhile, your father smiled kindly at how all three boys looked like such sweet children.

Oh, sweet, sweet father... They're all literal gang members!

You placed the fifth plate down on the dining table, motioning to your friends to take a seat, "G-Good morning, sir!!" Chifuyu started and Baji just gawked at how his ex-vice captain just greeted the elder male before him, "Yeah, Morning!!" However, the ravenette quickly added a greeting of his own too.

Your father laughed heartily, "Hahaha! Yes, yes... good morning, boys!" You smiled at the rather awkward interaction. Almost on cue, your brother also descended down the flight of stairs, half asleep.

"Morning, big bro! Go take a seat." You ordered and he wordlessly complied, sitting beside Chifuyu, making the poor boy stiffen up.

"[Brother Name], at least wash your face..." Your father sweatdropped, but your brother paid it no mind and just mumbled incoherently while chewing his egg.

"So, you're all [Name]'s friends? It's very nice to meet you!" Your father began, making Baji and Chifuyu stiffly nod, "Yes!" They answered as if they were being interrogated by the police.

"Are you childhood friends of hers? I'm kind of curious..." Your brother finally spoke words that could be considered understandable, "I am! We used to train at the same dojo!" Baji proudly declared, his wide grin showing off his sharp canines.

Your brother blinked for a moment before turning to the other two, "Oh, and what about you guys?"

"Uh, I met her through one of [Name]-san's other childhood friend..." Takemichi said and Chifuyu added as well, "Um, Baji-san was the one who introduced me to her..."

"Baji?" The father and son questioned and it was then that Keisuke and Chifuyu realised that they hadn't even introduced themselves, "I'm Baji, Baji Keisuke!"

"And I'm Matsuno Chifuyu! Pleased to meet you!" Chifuyu even added a little bow after his intro, and your father smiled kindly, "Ah! What Kanjis do you use for your given names? I'm guessing Matsuno-kun uses the kanji for thousand and winter right? "

"Yes!" As soon as Chifuyu admitted that, Baji was quick to interject in the conversation, "Mine is written with the kanji of gemstone and forerunner!"

"Oh!! What pretty names you both have!" Your father complimented and the two started blushing like schoolgirls in love, "What about you, Hanagaki-kun?"

"Oh, uh... Mine is written with the kanji of bamboo and road!" The time traveler answered with a shy smile and you really couldn't help but think of how it felt like pure heaven right now. Your friends and family, sitting here in front of you...

What more could you ask for?

-----

By the time breakfast was over, the three boys dashed out of the house, scared that their mothers might slaughter them if they didn't reach home.

Technically, they were still dead meat since they spent the night somewhere else without informing their mothers, but you spared them the logics and let them leave.

"So, did you tell your brother?" Your father asked and you stared at him in question, "I thought you told him?" You both continued to just stare lifelessly at each other while the said young man watched you two stare telepathically.

"Tell me what exactly?" [Brother Name]'s question broke you both out of your staring competition and your father grinned brightly, "It's beach day!"

Your brother's face lightened up faster than fairy lights on a Christmas night. It truly was just as shocking as it was cute.

"Oh, my God!! Yes!! [Name], it's a beach day!! Beach day!!" He started jumping around you in circles, happily grinning as your father chuckled at his enthusiasm.

"Looks like someone is excited~" You nodded at his statement and turned to your older brother, "Can you bring Yajima-san as well? It'll be nice if you can spend more time with her too!"

He looked surprised for a moment before a cheshire grin made way to his lips, "Oya? Just tell me you've taken a liking to my cute girlfriend~"

You blushed and moved away from him, "Well, she's super nice so it's hard not to..." At your words, your brother shot you a gentle grin, "Don't worry, I'll check if she can come over."

-----

You were seated in the back seats along with Yajima, both peering out from the windows on your sides. Your father was driving while your brother was seated on the passenger seat with him, catching up on his lost sleep.

Just seeing them all together made your heart swell up with happiness...

You deserved this break, after all that work, after all that suffering...

With a shy grin playing on your lips, you turned your head back to look out the window, feeling the pool of excitement growing deep inside you as you saw the landscape change into the ocean.

This was your first ever family outing!!

To your excitement, you guys ended up finding a nice parking spot that was close by, so getting all the stuff out of the car would be much easier. Without another thought, you immediately sprang out from the car the moment it stopped.

Yajima, who was waking up [Brother Name], looked at you and giggled at your newfound excitement. You looked so cute!!

Meanwhile, your father looked at you with a proud look. He was happy that the sea had been a good choice for an outing, even if he was almost freezing. With that, he dragged [Brother Name] to gather the stuff from the car and told you and Yajima to search for a nice spot to set your things.

And so, you and Yutori grabbed hands and immediately scurried around to look for a nice place. There were a few empty spots, but the one that seemed absolutely perfect was the one that was just close to the sea so you could enjoy the view, yet far enough that the waves wouldn't wash away the stuff.

Sharing a grin with Yajima, she stayed back to secure the place while you ran to get your brother and father. Thanks to your speed, you reached them in no time.

Setting up the beach mat, you and Yajima practically dragged your brother to play in the water. Due to the cold temperature, the water was absolutely freezing but it still didn't hinder the three of you from splashing the water onto each other.

Just as you were playing, running along the waves, your eyes fell upon your brother and Yajima, that looked absolutely ethereal together. You couldn't help but squeal to yourself. Quickly pulling out your phone, you snapped a picture of them together so you could cherish the moment forever.

"Huh? Did you take a picture, egghead?" You grinned sheepishly while nodding, "I'll send it to you, I swear!" That was what made your brother smile widely, excited to make it his new standby screen.

"Come on! Let's go find some seashells" Your brother hollered and you and Yajima cheered happily behind him, "YAYYY!!"

"Dad! Wanna join us?" You asked your father when you guys began to line around the edges of the waves, "Eh~ You think you can do it, old man?" [Brother Name] teased, making you snap your head in his direction, only to watch as your father grabbed his sunglasses and placed them on the top of his head, a giant smirk present on his lips.

He looked down, hiding his expressions before looking up with a wide grin and cackling loudly, "Don't underestimate the power of this old man!! I used to be a black belt in finding seashells back when I was a kid!"

"No, you weren't. I don't know who lied to you but they don't give black belts for something as stupid as that." Your brother chimed in, a deadpanned expression on his face and you just stared as your father froze for a moment before picking up his slipper and chucking it straight at [Brother Name].

"Wanna say that again, brat?!" Your father raised his other slipper above his head and your brother quickly ran in the waters before he could get hit again. Yajima chortled at your side and you figured that it was most probably a common occurrence among your family.

With a soft smile, you and Yutori looked at each other before she took your hand in her own and began to pull you around aimlessly, "Wanna wander around the beach and search for some good seashells together?" She asked and you couldn't agree more, "Sure! That seems like a good idea!"

But... wouldn't she want to hang out with your brother, her significant other?

Although you both shared a smile, you bit your lip in worry. You sure hoped that you weren't being a hindrance to both your brother and Yajima. After a while of walking around, you guys came across a bunch of people playing volleyball. The moment they caught sight of you two, they immediately perked up and called out to you both.

"Hey!! Do you guys know how to play volleyball?! We need a few more members on the girls' team!" A guy spoke, and Yajima backed away a bit. She had always been a rather shy person, only speaking when absolutely necessary and she really didn't like talking with other people, especially guys.

"Uh..." You started, looking back at how uncomfortable Yutori looked, "I'm sorry... I don't think-" you were cut off by a feminine voice calling out.

"[Name]-san?!"

You turned your head to see Hina standing there, her hands shoved in the pockets of her jacket, "It really is you!!" She exclaimed with a giant grin on her thin lips. You blinked a few times before letting a grin form on your face, "Hina-san! What a pleasant surprise!"

You both grinned at each other as you turned to Yajima, "This is Yajima Yutori-san, my brother's girlfriend! Yajima-san, this is Tachibana Hinata-san, my friend's girlfriend and a very good friend of mine as well!"

Both the pretty girls bowed, greeting each other politely, "Nice to meet you, Yajima-san!"

"L-Likewise, Tachibana-chan..."

A smile formed on your face and just then you heard a boyish voice, "Big sister?" There stood Naoto, a confused look present on his face, "Wait... [Last Name]-san?!" You shot him a kind smile.

"Hello, Tachibana-kun! Glad to see you're faring well!" He nodded shyly before turning to his sister, "Mom said that we should stick together..."

"Of course! [Name]-san, were you guys going to play volleyball?" You took one look at how uncomfortable Yutori was and shook your head, "I'm afraid not..." Hina nodded and then began once more, "What were you guys going to do then, if you don't mind me asking?"

A grin made way to your lips, "We're searching for seashells, of course!" Hina face seemed to brighten up at your statement, "Really?! Then, do you mind if we look together for some with you?"

You turned to look at Yajima and she shot you a small smile, letting you know that she was fine with it. Knowing that the older girl wasn't uncomfortable, you nodded happily, "Sure!!"

"Then, let's look for the best seashells possible!!" The pinkette declared and you all agreed happily.

-----

While you were searching for seashells, you ended up getting a call from your brother, "Come quick!! I got something amazing to show you!!"

He really did love being vague, didn't he?

"Yajima-san! Hina-san! Tachibana-kun! Wanna come with? My brother says he's got something to show us!" Obviously, the vagueness of your statement intrigued them, and they found themselves agreeing. And so, the two siblings decided to first inform their parents, which truly did shock you that the grumpy Tachibana-san would come to a beach.

But you still agreed to go with the two siblings nonetheless. Which was what led you to stand face to face with the monst-I mean... Tachibana-san.

"Hello, Tachibana-san. You seem to be doing well, if you're out here at the beach..." His eyes twitched in annoyance. Were you fucking mocking him?! Poor Yajima was trying to think of ways to get you away safely. Jokes on her, you can totally take his old ass right now if only he wasn't the father of your friend.

Before he could retort, his daughter came running over to you with some grilled kebab that her mother had sent, "Here [Name]-san, Yajima-san try it!" She stuffed the kebab into your mouths and you both almost melted at the juicy flavour, "Ish sho goozzz!!"

The two of you squealed, smiling giddily, making Hina reciprocate the smile. But then she caught sight of her father and her frown took over, "Papa!! What are you-ugh... Please don't pick a fight with [Name]-san!!"

"Huh?! I'm the one who's picking a fight with this-this witch?!" You snorted at his retort, he really needs to work on it. But Yajima really didn't like how he was addressing you.

Despite having only met you twice, she still felt strangely overprotective of you. And so, not caring about how she would usually stutter infront of stranger men, she growled, "Please refrain from calling [Name]-chan such names..."

"Y-Yajima-san... it's fine!" You exclaimed and the man tsked, walking away a bit. Hina bowed at the behavior of her father, "I'm very sorry about him! He's just very grumpy..." You both nodded and you even reassured her with a kind smile, "Please don't bow, I believe I may have provoked him..."

But you three decided to drop the topic as Naoto ate some of his kebab and ran over to you guys to leave, "Where are you going?" Hina's father asked and you could hear Hina groan to herself. You and Yajima could only smile awkwardly.

"Papa, we're going with [Name]-san and Yajima-san." He shook his head and grabbed his own coat, "I'm taking you there, no questions. I don't trust this delinquent." Yajima snarled at him and even Naoto frowned at his father's actions. But you couldn't help the humoured smile from forming on your face.

"Sure, let's go!" You cheered and he almost growled at you, making you chortle to yourself.

Weaving between the people, the five of you (Miss Tachibana didn't want to come since she was enjoying her 'me' time) trudged towards where your brother was, which wasn't that far from where your father was seated, peeling oranges.

"Nii-san!!" You called out, and the male turned around with a giant grin, "You're finally here, huh?! Well, look what I found!" He pointed to the ocean and you four kids walked closer and saw... A sea cucumber.

Your brother was laughing hysterically, as if he just heard the joke of the century, and Yajima looked ready to throw up. Hina was weirded out and Naoto straight up let out a scream.

"What on earth is that?!" Hina asked and you turned to her with a uncomfortable smile, "A sea cucumber." It only prompted more laughter from your brother, "CUCUMBER!! TORI, I-IT'S CALLED A CUCUMBER!! BWAHAHAHA!! WHAT PART OF IT LOOKS LIKE A CUCUMBER?!"

"It's creepy..." The poor brunette heaved, turning her head away as you raised your hand and bonked your brother for showing something stupid like this that freaked the others.

"Well, now that's done. Hinata, Naoto, we're leaving." Masato declared and you frowned at his statement, "At least let them stay for a while." You said and he glared at you, "No."

Your brother stopped laughing and quickly caught up on the dark glare the older male was shooting at you. His own [Eye Colour] eyes darkened at the idea of an old fuck trying to mess with his baby sister.

However, just when he was about to intervene, your father called out, "Masato-kun?" The said man almost snapped his neck in the direction of your father, his hands shaking in surprise, "Huh... Wait... Is that really you, Masato-kun?!" Your father's grin grew and he almost glommed on the male.

"W-Wha... [Father Name]-senpai?"

"Senpai?!" Both you and Hina exclaimed and the two males looked at you both. Your father shined a giant grin and pulled Masato with him, "Yup! Masato-kun used to be one of my cute kohais during highschool!!"

Your jaw dropped and your brother could not believe the bullshit your father was spewing, "Wait, senpai! How do you know-" Masato pointed at you, "-her?!"

"Huh? She's my cute daughter, of course!" This time, it was Masato's turn to get shocked, blinking confusedly.

"What?! Then that means... that you were married to [Mother Name]? That woman?!" Your father faltered for a minute, before his smile fell and you frowned at the mention of her. Your brother took notice of the change in the mood of both of you and pulled you both closer with him, "Please don't mention her, sir..."

Masato stared at your father and noticed the in-deep expression in his face, feeling guilty since it was perhaps a sensitive subject for him, "Sorry."

"It's fine! Anyways, Masato-kun! You're here with your family?" The said man nodded peacefully, and gestured to Hina and Naoto, "This is Hinata and Naoto, my kids." Your father smiled kindly and pat their heads, "Aha, your son looks like a carbon copy of you, huh?"

"Yes, and Hinata takes after her mother."

"Is that so? Well, what cute children you have! These two are mine! And that lovely child is my son's girlfriend, Yajima-chan!" The brunette shrinked slightly when [Father Name] mentioned her, but you and [Brother Name] took each one of her hands in one of your own.

"I believe I've already had the courtesy of meeting your daughter..." You raised an eyebrow at how well tamed the feral animal called Masato Tachibana looked, but didn't bother saying anything else.

"Ah! Did you now? That's wonderful!" Poor father, he doesn't know damn thing.

"What are you standing for so stiffly? Come sit with us, Masato-kun! Let the kids enjoy the beach, so long as they are safe!"

You perked up at this, "Don't worry, dad! I'll protect them!" Your father felt his heart swell up in pride. God, when did you grow up so much? It's like it was yesterday when you were taking your first steps...

He smiled kindly and nodded, and the five of you kids took this as a cue to run away before the grumpy police officer could change his mind.

"Let's make sandcastles!" You were the one who suggested this and they all agreed without missing a beat. Since there were two adults and three of you kids, you all decided that the best way would be to let the lovebirds be on one team while the three of you were the second team.

Naoto picked up a rock and drew a line to differentiate the territories, "This place is ours, while that is yours." You all nodded and got to work.

You and Naoto, were tasked with gatherung the sand from nearby and pushing it towards the main body of the castle. Then began the fun part.

Molding the castle!!

There were two rooks at the sides of your imagined castle and both you and Naoto were busy making them. Hina, who was making the middle body, took one look at her brother and smirked to herself.

You'll thank me later, brother~

"Ah, I'll go get the smaller stones for our castle, stay here, you guys!" You and Naoto nodded, and when Naoto's gaze fell upon you was when he realized what his sister was trying to do.

But before he could protest, Hina scurried off.

"Ugh..." The boy scowled in annoyance, making you turn to him, "Are you okay, Tachibana-kun?"

"Huh? Of course, I am!"

"I see... That's nice!" Oh crap, now what should he say?!

"You seem pretty good at making sandcastles... Do you all visit the beach often?" Thankfully, you were the one who spoke up and he blinked a few times before his brain processed anything, "Uh, I guess? Not that often..."

"Oh..." There was silence again and he tried to focus on his side of the rook but it really proved to be harder than expected, "Uh, what about you? You come here often?"

"Hmm, not really... I visited a beach with my friends a few times but this is my first time with my family..." Oh right... He forgot about your situation...

Hina had told him that you were the daughter of that psycho lady that was on the news a while ago, and God, was he shocked!

How did you even escape that woman?! He really wanted to know, but it would be rude and messed up of him to ask so he just shut up.

"Are you... having fun?" Naoto spoke up again and almost got blinded with your bright grin, "Yup! It's super nice, and now that I've met you and Hina-san, it's a lot more fun!"

His cheeks were painted a light pink and he quickly averted his gaze to the sandcastle in front of him, making you smile.

"I see... Uh, you can call me Naoto."

"Huh?"

"Naoto! You can call me that instead of Tachibana-kun... It's a mouthful anyways..."

You blinked before letting a smile grace your face, "If that's the case, then please call me [Name]!!" He nodded without looking at you, afraid that if he did then you might catch sight of his bright red cheeks.

"Oh, you guys sure work fast!!" Hina came running over, a bunch of small rocks in the pockets of her jacket, making you smile, "Yes, it's quite fun too!"

"I see... I'm glad, then!" She immediately poured out the rocks onto the place next to you guys and sat down on the sand to make her part of the castle.

"So..." She leaned closer to whisper to Naoto, grinning when she caught sight of his bright red cheeks, "Did you shoot your shot?"

"Oh, shut up!" The girl ended up hollering loudly instead of feeling offended, grabbing your attention and making you smile softly.

Needless to say... this was just the break you needed...
