(Y/N) POV:
"Chris wake up! Chris!" I knelt beside him and shook him.

Chris sat up. When he finally realized what happened quickly stood up. "Where's ash?" He asked.

"I should be asking you that. What happened?!" I demanded.

"I don't know, Josh screamed and then Ashley ran in after him, when I finally got there this freak in a mask knocked me out." He tried to explain.

He walked over and picked up a wallet with the name 'Ash' stitched on the back. The wallet had blood on one of the corners. "Oh no. Not good..." He whispered to himself.

We walked into the hallway and found blood smeared on the wall. "Oh god! Chris!" I exclaimed.

"What is going on here?" Chris asked.

We ran outside and tried to look for them. "Josh!" I called out. "Josh!! Ash! Where could they be Chris?"

"I- I don't know...! Ash! Ashley?!" We ran into the middle of nowhere and found a beaten up old shack not too far from the lodge.

"Let's check in here!" I ran into the shack and Chris followed behind me.

Chris walked in front of me. "Ashley?!" He yelled.

We heard Ashley scream, "Chris...!"

"Ash I'm here! Where are you?" Chris asked.

"I'm... I don't know..." She cried.

"What the hell happened?" He asked.

I chimed in, "Ash, thank god. Are you okay? Where's Josh?!" I asked.

"I don't know! Please... Help me!" She sobbed.

Chris said, "I'm coming ash - just keep talking to me!"

There was a window looking into a dark room. When we got closer, the lights turned on revealing Ashley and Josh tied up dangling by their hands, against a wall. There was a giant saw blade on tracks I front of them. Josh was still unconscious.

"Oh god, Josh!!" I yelled.

"Hello, and thank you for joining me." A voice spoke. We couldn't see who it was, but the voice was menacing and dark, and you could tell that it had been modified.

I banged on the window. "Josh wake up!"

He started to wake up "huh?... What?"

The dark voice continued, "Tonight we're going to conduct a little experiment. A sort of test."

"Oh no!" Ashley whimpered.

Josh yelled, "(Y/N) what's going on?"

The voice began to speak again, "Now for this experiment, we'll need the cooperation of our two test subjects... Joshua and Ashley..."

"Oh my god!" Josh shouted.

"But we're going to need one more brave participant to help decide... Which subject will live, and which will die." The psycho proceeded.

Ashley was terrified. "OH NO! OH MY GOD, OH MY GOD, CHRIS! GET US OUT OF HERE!"

Josh screamed, "NO! YOU CAN'T DO THIS! LET ME DOWN FROM HERE YOU MANIAC!"

I ran to the door and tried to open it but it was locked. "Come on... Come on!" I shoved against the door but it still wouldn't budge. "I'll get you out of there josh!"

"No! (Y/N) get out of here! I don't want you to see any of this! Just... please! leave!" He pleaded.

"No! I'm not going to leave you!" I said frantically.

The psycho explained, "Please. Please everyone calm down. It's all very simple. Christopher, you will find a lever placed directly in front of you. All you have to do... Is choose who you will save!"

The blade started up and slowly moved forward.

"Shit... Shit... No!" Josh wailed.

"Oh no... Please! This can't be happening...! Oh god oh god oh god...! This isn't right!" Ashley shook her head and tried to free herself.

Josh tried to calm himself down, "Okay... Okay... Okay... Okay, this is gonna be okay..." He looked to Chris who was panicking, "Dude... Buddy... Let's just think about this for a minute..."

I tried to find a different way to get into the room but there weren't any. I looked at Chris with wide eyes.

"Oh my god! CHRIS! you CAN'T LET ME DIE!" Ash cried.

Chris tried to wrap his head around the situation, "Just, just, just... Gimme a second... I, I- can't think straight... Shit..."

'Oh god this can't be happening! Tell me this isn't happening!' I thought.

"Ashley I'll get you out of there I won't let you die!" Chris assured Ash.

"No! Please no!" Josh pleaded.

Chris pushed the lever to the side, which made the tracks switch towards josh.

"Ah... I see. You have chosen... To save Ashley." The psycho said.

The saw started moving towards josh.

"NO, CHRIS!!!" Josh said terrified.

"JOSH!!! NO! PLEASE STOP THIS!!!" I screamed begging the psycho.

"I thought we were FRIENDS man! I thought we were FRIENDS why would you DO THIS?!" Josh asked desperately.

"OH GOD JOSH!!!" Ashley squeaked.

Chris shook his head and grabbed his hair with both hands, practically pulling it out. "I'm sorry I'm sorry I'm sorry!!! THIS IS MADNESS, PLEASE!"

"NO! OH GOD WHAT DID I DO!??" Josh begged.

Josh shrieked in pain, when the saw started tearing through him. Cutting off his lower half, making his guts spill out of him.

The door finally opened and I walked through, but when I saw josh, I froze. I didn't know what to do. It felt like my heart been ripped from my chest. My best friend, the person I had known better than anyone, the man I lik- Loved, Was gone. Killed... right in front of me.

"No no no. D- don't look, Ashley, don't look!" Chris warned.

"Why can't I look, Chris? Please tell me he's okay, please...!" Ashley pressed. Chris unchained Ashley from the wall. He grabbed her and hugged her shielding her face from what happened. She looked over and saw josh "NOOO!!" She shrieked.

I took one step forward and collapsed, tears streaming down my face, "He didn't deserve this. God why him? He didn't deserve this!!" I screamed at the top of my lungs. "You psychopath!"

Ashley came to my side. She was covered in blood, Josh's blood. "(Y/N) we have to get out of here, you gotta get up!"

"Ash is right, we gotta go, that maniac might be after us!" Chris agreed.

"No." I whispered.

"What?" Chris asked.

"I said no... I- I can't leave him..." I admitted.

Chris and Ashley looked at each other with sadness in their eyes. They stood on both sides of me and grabbed my arms trying to drag me out of the room.

"NO! Stop! Get off! I'm not going to leave him! Let go of me! I CAN'T LEAVE HIM!" I shook both of them off, frantically sobbing.

"I'm so sorry (Y/N)!" Chris apologized before flinging me over his shoulder and carrying me out the door.

"Put me down!" I pounded on his back a couple of times before finally giving up. I had no energy left.

Chris put me down once we got far enough away. We ran trying to find the cabin, But instead we bumped into Matt and Emily.

They spotted Ashley covered in blood, "Blood! Blood! Whose blood is that, Ash?" Emily questioned.

Matt asked, "Are you okay?"

Emily looked at Chris for some answers, "Chris what happened?"

I looked at all of them with tears in my eyes, "J-Josh is dead...!"

Emily I interrupted, "What are you talking about?!"

Chris continued, "T- there's a maniac -"

"Maniac?" Matt asked confused.

Emily was scared, "Oh my god. We gotta get outta here."

"I still don't understand what happened!" Matt demanded.

Chris insisted, "There's a maniac! And... He was- there was a saw... And it was either him or ash and I didn't know what to do! It cut right through him and- spilling out fucking everywhere-"

I cringed. 'I don't know if I can take this.' I thought.

Emily was on the verge of freaking out, "WHAT?! OH my god Chris what?!"

"I- I killed him!... I- I killed him... It was my FAULT, Matt-" Chris cried.

"No. No this is insane. We need to get some help. Matt we need to go get help now." Emily suggested and went with Matt to the cable car station.

We went back to the lodge to find Sam and make sure that she was okay.

When we got to the lodge, I ran upstairs and knocked on the bathroom. "Sam! Sam?!" I opened the door, but no one was there.

I heard Ashley and Chris call me from downstairs. I went down into the home theater.

Ashley pointed to the floor, there was glass over by the door. "Look at this. Chris, what happened here?"

"Well, I'm no forensics expert, but it looks like it was thrown." Chris assumed.

"Do... Do you think the psycho got to Sam too...?" I asked quietly.

"We have to find her." Chris insisted.

MATT POV:
Em and I got to the cable car station. There was an axe sticking out of the door.

"Look an axe. I feel better with an axe." I mentioned and pulled the axe out.

Emily tried the door, "Oh what now? This is locked Matt!" She looked at me, "Well break the door down will ya?"

"Woah, wait a second. We start smashing shit down he's gonna hear us." I warned.

"You got any better suggestions?" She asked.

"I dunno. What about..." I looked around and spotted an open window. "Look! The window."

"That's great Matt, I can just about fit my lip balm through that little slot." She mocked

"No come on"

"You will never fit through there, big guy." She stated.

"I won't fit, but you will." I added.

"Are you nuts? You're gonna shove my ass though that little whole?" She argued.

"I've seen you slip into some pretty tight jeans, Em." I claimed.

"Uh? Excuse me?" She scoffed.

"It's a talent." I claimed trying to save my own ass from the wrath that is Emily.

She refused, "Think again lug head. No can do. For one thing that maniac is probably just sitting there under that window waiting to blend us into piña coladas."

"Fine" I relented. I walked over to the door with the axe. "I'm gonna huff, and I'm gonna-"

Emily interrupted, "Shhhh! Just do it!"

I swung the axe at the door until it finally opened. We walked inside and the place was completely trashed. "Oh god damn." I uttered.

"What happened?" Emily asked.

"This is crazy-"

"We were just here like a few hours ago - this must have just happened." Emily pointed out.

I looked through the window into the office. The words 'die' were written all over the walls. "What the fuck is going on"

"It's gotta be the guy... The one who got to Chris and Ash... And Josh..." She insisted.

"He's gotta know this is the only way back. Look the cable car's all the way out there." I realized.

"Well that's... I mean that's not far, right? You... You can jump it?" She asked.

"Ha. I'm good Em but not that good. Flattered though." I claimed.

"Well Matt if you can't jump that, what are we gonna do?!?" She complained.

"I... I don't know."

We went into the office and found a map of the mountain. "Hey, look. Fire tower." I showed Emily.

"Hey. Magellan, maybe we should get the cable car working and take this show on the road, huh?"

I walked over to the cable car controls. The key was missing. "Great. no keys, no cable car. So back to square one." I sighed.

Emily got an idea, "What about the fire tower? On the map you found?"

"Well... I guess that's an option" I agreed.

"Maybe it has a radio or something. I mean, it would, wouldn't it?" She questioned.

"Probably, yeah"

"Matt we gotta get to that radio."

I disagreed, "I dunno, Em... That could work but I kinda think maybe we should get back to the lodge for now, everyone's been split up for so long..."

"Wait. So first you want to leave the lodge, now you want to go back- you don't know what the right thing to do is any more than I do, Matt. And I say that we should go to the fire tower, and get on the radio and call for more help. And that's that." She argued.

"If you feel that strongly about it-"

"I do Matt!" She interrupted. "I'm surprised you don't, too!"

"I do, I do! Really!" I said. She walked away.

Emily walked to the side of the cable car station and saw a ladder. She tried to reach for it but couldn't. I bent down to try and help her, "what's cookin good lookin?" I joked.

"Gettin' us out of here, Mister Meat for Brains." She spat.

'Did I do something? I don't know why she always feels like insulting me.' I wondered.

She pulled the ladder down and climbed down the side of the station. "Look at this bad boy." She said picking up a flashlight. Your comin' with me, buddy."

We got around the structure and continued on the path to the fire station.
Once we got in front of the tower, a bright light turned on scaring Emily. "Ahh! That's freakin' bright!"

"No kidding!" I agreed.

"I can't see - what is that?" She asked me.

I answered her, "It's just a security light. Motion sensed probably."

We walked up to the tower and had to climb about 3 different ladders to get to the top, so I had to drop my axe.

When we got to the top we closed the hatch leading to the ladder. We couldn't risk the psycho climbing the tower after us. the power was turned off, so we walked outside to find the switch. Emily found a flare gun around the back. "You take this. You might need it." She decided.

"Aye - aye captain."

We found the power switch and turned it on. We heard the radio turn on. "Fuck yeah! Here we go. Okay. Score one for Matt and Em."

We went back in and tried the radio. Someones voice came through. "Hello?? Anyone there? Hello!!! Please say something if your out there, please we need help!! Over! Over!!! Shit." Emily begged.

"...Hello?" A rangers voice came through.

"Oh my god! Thank god! We need help, please!" Emily said.

"... Hello is someone trying to contact us? This is the park ranger service for Blackwood County. We're not getting your signal very well. Please speak slowly and clearly, over." The ranger explained.

"Please! Please please please help! Oh my god we're stuck up on Blackwood Mountain and there's a maniac-"

The ranger interrupted. "... If you can hear this, please repeat your message. Hello? Can you please identify yourself, over."

Emily did what the ranger said, "Oh my god, okay, this is... My name is Emily... Hello?"

"Your not coming through clearly, please repeat, over." The ranger said once more.

Emily told them, "We're on... Blackwood Mountain... By the ski lodge... There's a killer and he's after us and he's already killed one of our friends. Oh god please help, you've got to help us!!"

I looked outside and the light went on. "Something tripped the motion sensor. Probably a fucking deer."

The ranger's voice came through again, " I read you, ma'am. Please do not leave your position. We will send out helicopters to get you as soon as the storm has subsided, over."

"What? When? How long?" Emily asked him.

"Dawn, at the earliest. Not until dawn, over." The ranger answered.

We heard something banging on the hatch trying to get in. "Jesus!" I shouted.

Emily backed into a corner and screamed, "Oh my god, he's here, he's coming for me!"

The banging on the hatch stopped and we heard something crawl down the ladder. Then we heard the sound of cables getting cut and the tower started to shake. "The tower! Shit... Don't move..." I yelled. The tower started to fall to the side and Emily fell out the window. "Emily!"

She grabbed onto the side and hung there "fuck me." She cried. She started to slip and the tower tipped even more. "No, don't! No!"

"OH SHIT!!" I screamed.

The top of the tower plunged itself into the ground with us on it. "Oh fuck! Oh fuck!" I exclaimed while climbing around. "Dammit!"

I climbed out of the tower and it started shaking. Emily was still hanging on the railing. "MATT!!! OH MY GOD MATT HELP ME PLEAAAAASE!" She begged.

"I'm comin'! I'm comin'!" I assured her. "Em this is pretty unsteady over here."

Emily yelled at me. "Matt you've got to do something right NOW what are you WAITING FOR!?!?"

"I'm thinking! Let me think!" I told her.

"Don't think, you idiot, just get me outta here!"

"Emily... Your upset, you need to calm down. You're gonna be fine -" I said.

She interrupted me, "Ugg, stop talking, I can't take it!"

"Stop yelling at me and let me work this out, okay!" I demanded.

"No you stop it! Why do you question every little thing I say! I'm goddamned sick of it!" She admitted.

I didn't care for how she was acting but I was still worried about her. "I'm gonna try to get to you and pull you up."

"Now will you please get me off this goddamned tower?! Please please please, Matt just do something!"

"I'm coming..." I reached out a hand, "Here... Ugh!"

Emily slipped even more, "Oh shit! Matt!"

"Woah woah..." I stood up and backed away. "I don't wanna tip it!" I went back towards Emily and held my hand out again, "Oh... Come on! Come on!" As she was about to grab my hand, she fell "Emily!!" I yelled.

The tower was falling "Oh fuck!" I jumped on a nearby ledge right before the tower fell.

I stood up looking at the darkness that Emily fell to, "Emily...?! Oh no... Em... Em..." I cried. 'God why?! I could have saved her!' I thought. "EMILY!!! EMILYYYY!!!"

I tried to search for a way out. As I was walking I hear something strange. I saw a shadow like figure running in front of me but I couldn't make out what it was.

Then something grabbed me from behind. It started dragging me and kept a firm grip on my jacket. "NO! GET OFF!! GET OFF!!" ARGH!!! LET GO!!! LET GO!!!" I screamed. I couldn't shake it off it was too strong. Then I remember that Emily had given me the flare gun. I took it out and shot the creature that grabbed me. It instantly let go and ran away. I still didn't see what had done it. "Holy crap!"
