Third person's POV

"Pfft-" Osamu chuckled

'what? He's laughing!?' the blonde girl of the port mafia thought.

'is there a reason to laugh right now Osamu? I envy your ability to even laugh at everything including your own trauma' Y/n thought as she looked at the male with eyes itching to strangle him

"Oh my! That's a seriously tempting offer! I'm overjoyed!" Osamu cheered, putting his left hand to his face dramatically as if he was one of the casts of a theatre musical.

"Once I'm done with this bullsh*t of that pedo I'll try to find a beautiful woman that is very willing to die" Y/n said making her brother look at her with bright eyes.

"I have read through both of your records." Higuchi said catching the siblings' attention "your methods.. your sadistic ways of hollowing out your enemies' heart" she continues as Y/n slightly took interest hearing praise from her.

"Your bloods.. are black. Mafia black. More so than anyone else's in the country" she said as the atmosphere fell silent

"And?" Y/n spoke up

"And what?" Higuchi replies, trying to read the girl's expression

"That's it? Really? If you're going to try and convince us to join the mafia again you could've thought of another way to lure us." The younger sister of Osamu said as she rolled her eyes

"Plus I didn't get enough praise, you know? It's always the two of us, why not only me?" She dramatically added as she put up a hand to her chest acting hurt and offended.

"True though, that wasn't even near tempting. See, sadism is just a process of doing things. It's boring" The older Dazai said as he rolled his eyes and crossed his arms

"and people change! Even Gin-chan over here.. she used to be a frail and cute little girl, you know?" He added with a tone of complaint as he measured the height of a child with his hand.

The exact time he called Gin a 'she' a certain someone was shocked and swiftly looked at the said girl with shock

"Please.. refrain from changing the subject.." the black haired girl said with a soft and calming voice as she acted awkwardly and shy

'She's a girl!? And her voice is soft too..' Higuchi thought as she still looked at the black haired girl with an expression mixed with shock and enlightenment.

"Still, it's bugging me to no end. Why would Mori-san, the embodiment of logic itself, horse around and waste manpower over here?" Osamu said changing the subject with a hint of sarcasm in his voice as he rests both of his arms behind his head.

"This is no Horseplay, we are here for the sake of both of you's protection" Higuchi answers

"Really? Protection? How kind of him to do that, are you sure Mori-san's your boss?" Y/n said yawning with a sarcastic tone as she stretches her right arm

"Now now, Y/n. You say that as if he doesn't have any of the slightest part of kindness within him" Osamu says as he chuckled at his sister's statement

"The boss.. has released "Q" from his confinement" Higuchi suddenly said, getting a shocked look on the older Dazai's face and another yawn from the younger Dazai.

"As if he'd do that" Osamu said

"Q doesn't differentiate between friends and foes. He's just a demented ability user that destroys every living thing in his wake" he added with a normal tone of voice but with a hint of worry

"The mafia will do anything to win this war" Higuchi said with a monotone voice making Osamu silent but getting another bored yawn from his younger sister.

"Yeah, I already knew. You're late to the party" Y/n said as her brother quickly looked at her with an 'are you serious face'.

"I mean, I AM the one that created the whole security for the mafia's confidential information and plans, remember?" She said with a monotone voice giving herself the credits.

"Plus the fact that I have Chuuya-san's beloved phone, and coincidentally I knew his password~" she added completely changing the tone of her voice to a jokingly tone as she pulled out a familiar phone

"Snatched it earlier from Chuuya-san, I'll be keeping it for a while too~!" She said throwing the phone up and down with her hands

"Woah!? Really!? Can I use it? I need to get some blackmail on him!" Her older brother quickly commented pleading her to let him borrow it to catfish people

"So we're just going to ignore what I just said?" Higuchi spoke

"Do you understand what you have let loose into the world? He's a walking disaster. Why do you think Q was sealed up in the first place" Osamu said with an irk mark on his forehead swiftly returning his gaze back at the blonde girl.

"Because his ability is the greatest anathema among all abilities; mind control" Y/n finished her brother's statement hanging her head low with a dark expression

"However.."

"When the doll is damaged, only the "receiver" will be cursed. One becomes a "receiver" for "harming Q"." Osamu added

"Receivers carry a mark on their body. It resembles a blotch you get when you've been grabbed hard. It's pretty recognizable" he continues as his younger sister sighs and continues his statement.

"As long as we put everyone on their guard, it's probably not too late" she said as Osamu begins to realize something

"You said you came.. "for the sake of my protection?"" He said as the two mafioso looked at him as his sister had her eyes widened

"Atsushi!"

"Damnit!"

The siblings ran back to the station where Osamu left the were tiger and immediately saw Atsushi strangling Naomi

"Stop it, Atsushi-kun! Look carefully!" Osamu yelled at Atsushi to his senses

"Kirako-san!" Y/n called as she ran towards the girl laying down

She held the girl and noticed she was unconscious, she looked at the weretiger with a furious face  "Atsushi put Naomi-san down!" She yelled in a worried tone.

"Huh?"

"Atsushi-san.. please don't.. ugh.." Naomi blurted out with a raspy voice as she was being choked

Atsushi realizes as he lets go of Naomi's neck "no way… it's been me all this time?" He says as he starts having a mental breakdown

"I..I didn't.. I was just.. trying to protect.." he says with a raspy voice as he fell to his knees with his hands on his hair

"No! I was just trying to protect everyone!" He yelled at thin air as Y/n helps Naomi and Kirako

"Shut up! Shut up! Shut up!!!!" He yelled as he went mental "No!!! I'm not, I was just..!" He yells as the others heard a creepy laugh from underneath the bench

Osamu quickly reacts as he grabbed the doll controlling them

"Be gone" he said as teal lights appear from his hands as the doll turns into ashes

The glowing mark on Atsushi's arm disappeared as Q enters the train

"Dazai-san's new friends are so weak. They broke so easily." Q says as he leans towards the door

"but that's fine! Cause I'll be saving Dazai-san till the end" he said with a smile

"What an honor"

"As thanks for locking me up, I'll be breaking everything and make you suffer the worst pain imaginable" Q said with a happy tone and an innocent look

"It was almost like yesterday, when people died by the masses, just to seal you up." Osamu says as Y/n grips on her clothes

"But next time, it won't be just a seal." Osamu continues as he turned to Q's direction

"I will hollow out your heart" he said with a threatening tone as the kid just stared at him with a cheerful look.

"Fufufu, till next time, Dazai-san" Q says as he went inside the train

"Even I can no longer afford to refrain from playing dirty under the circumstances.. is that it?" Osamu mutters

"What happened to him.. he wasn't used to being like this.." Y/n said as she hang her head low

"He's a walking disaster, Y/n. He's no longer the child that looked up to you" Osamu said as he just turned to the weretiger

"I'll be taking Naomi-san you take Kirako-san" Y/n sighs as she started carrying the black haired girl on her back

"Let's go Atsushi-kun"

"get up" Osamu says as he knelt in front of him

"No.."

"I'm no good.. I don't deserve to live.." Atsushi says with both of his palm covering his face

"Atsushi-kun" Osamu called as he puts a hand onto Atsushi's face then

Slap!

'what-' Y/n thought as her mind went blank

"I have no right to take away your past. But occasionally, I'll still offer you advice as your senior; do not pity yourself. If you pity yourself, life will be an endless nightmare" Osamu said as he stood up

…

"You literally b*tch slapped him and just said this is fine" Y/n dialogues

"c'mon, time for our counter attack. We should also play our hand. Let's spice things up with a wild card" Osamu says as he looked back between his sister and Atsushi with his infamous grin

"We're dragging the government into this war" he stated as his sister had her she's brighten

"Hell yeah! Whoooo!" She says with a cheerful tone
