You walked down the stone pathway, eventually arriving at the SavannaClaw Magic Shift field. The students were having their morning practice. You yawned at the thought of how early they had to wake up. On the field, the only person that stood out to you was Jack. Even though he is a first year, his skills were amazing. He easily weaved through opponents, and had amazing strength and accuracy. You went to sit down in the bleachers, waiting for him to finish practice. On some days you would occasionally wait for him so you could walk to school together.

As Jack was practicing, he saw you at the corner of his eye. He grew a small blush, but continued with his practice. He sped up is playing pace and thew the frisbee from a long distance away. It then went through the ring, earning him a point. You were in awe of his skill and started clapping for him. Jack looked back at you and gave you a small smile.

"You're on top of your game today," Ruggie said has he approached Jack.

"Thanks," he replied as he glanced toward your direction. Ruggie followed his eyes, and saw that he was looking at you. Ruggie grew a sly smirk waved to you. You waved back with a smile. Your smile made Jack's heart melt.

"So... have you been playing better because Y/N is watching?" Ruggie said as he turned to Jack. He blushed and turned his head away.

"O-of course not! I'm just feeling good today, thats all." He said as he walked back on the field. Ruggie could only chuckle. 

After his practice was done, you went down to go talk with Jack as he was having his water break. You finally made it down to the field and tapped him on the shoulder. he turned around and was met with your beautiful face. A blush grew on his cheeks.

"Good job today! You were awesome!" You said with a big smile.

"U-um thank you," He said with a stutter. He looked back at you and noticed you were a little sweaty. You have been siting outside in the sun with a black uniform after all. He looked at his water bottle and hesitates for a moment. 

"H-here," He said as he hands you his water bottle. "You must be hot from sitting in the sun."

"Are you sure?" You reply.

"Just take it." You took the water bottle out of his hand and stared at the rim. You were kinda thirsty after all, so you took a couple gulps of the water.  Your face grew red thinking that this would be an indirect kiss. You look back at Jack, and you could see that his face was red as well.

"Thanks!" You say as you hand back his water bottle. Jack stared at the rim with a red face. He slowly brought the rim to his lips and started drinking from the same place your lips were. Your face grew even redder. 

Jack noticed some of this teammates eyeing you up and down. He sent a cold glare to them and a low growl escaped his mouth. They jumped at his intense gaze, and walked away.

Jack turned back to you and patted your head. "Hey, wait at the front for me. I'm going to take a quick shower, then we can walk to school." He said as he looked back at you with his stern expression.

You waited at the front for a bit, then you eventually see Jack walking toward you. You both started walking towards the school getting reader for your first class. This particular class was hard to understand, and your brain was burning out. 

But, there was another thing that was distracting you. You sat next to Jack, and you could  see his profile perfectly. His scrunched up and confused face was really cute. Also, his tail was draped beside his leg. It would slowly sway side to side. You wanted to touch his tail really badly.

You slowly laid your hand beside your seat. You slowly inched your hand closer and closer to his tail. Your finger tips touched his tail ever so slightly. He immediately jumped in his seat. You quickly withdrew your hand. He turned his head and looked at you with an embarrassed expression. "What are you doing?" He said with a red face.

"Sorry, I really wanted to pet your tail. I should have asked first." You replied. Jack thought for a moment, then slowly draped his tail over your lap. You look back at him, and you could see that his cheeks were red, and so were the tips of his ears.

"You don't seem to be paying attention in class, so maybe it would make you concentrate better." He said  as he avoided eye contact. Your face lit up. You looked at the white tail in your lap and slowly started petting it. It was really, really soft. The soft pure white fur reminded you of clouds. You could feel the stress lift from your shoulder. You continued to write your notes with one hand as your other hand was stroking his tail.

From the corner of your eye, you could see Jack with red tint dusted across his cheeks, and his ears would twitch occasionally. You grew a small smirk. "Jack, do you like it went I pet you?"You teased.

"N-no, I'm only letting you do this because you can't pay attention. I'm not enjoying it or anything." He said with an embarrassed expression. You could only giggle at his reaction.

After that class was over, it was time for P.E. You all changed into your gym clothes and went out into the sports field. This week was the track and field unit, and Professor Vargas was exuberant as always. You all started your warm up jog. Even though it was suppose to be a warm up, you were exhausted when you finished your last lap. You put your hands in your knees, trying to catch your breath. You look towards Jack, and he wasn't even breaking a sweat.

"Tweet! Alright, everyone line up for timed sprints!" Professor Vargas said as he blew his whistle. You look back up in shock. You still didn't recover from the warm up. You line up within the lanes still trying to catch your breath. Your leg muscles were also at their limit.

"Next group get ready!" Professor said as he griped his stop watch. You stood behind the line, trying you best to regain some energy. "Ready...Set...Go!" You tried your best to run as fast as you can. You were already behind and you tried to catch up. You could feel your legs burning. However, your legs gave out and you fell right before the finish line. Jack immediately ran to your side along with other students.

"Y/N! Are you ok?" Jack said as he tried to help you up. 

"Yeah," you said as you winced. You look down and both of your knees were bleeding, as well as your elbow. You also had a small scratch of your face. Your scratches stung as you tried to take a step forward. Jack could see that you were in pain. 

"I'm going to take Y/N to the nurse." He picked you up and held you like a princess. Both of your faces turned red. He walked towards the nurses office with you in his arms. You finally arrived and he set you down on one of the beds.

"Looks like the nurse isn't here." Jack said as you both looked around the room. "I can bandage your scrapes now, unless you want to wait for the nurse." You look back at him with a surprised and bashful expression.

"Really? I would love it if you could patch me up!" You replied with a reassured face. Jack's heart skipped a beat. Your cute expression made him melt.

 He began to look in the cabinets for bandages and rubbing alcohol. He found the supplies and sat across from you. He opened the bottle of rubbing alcohol and dipped a cotton ball into it.

"It's going to sting a little bit." He said as he dabbed the soaked cotton ball into your wound. You winced at the pain, and gripped the bedsheets beside you. After he finished applying the disinfectant, he began to wrap your knee with bandages. The room was quiet. You could only hear the clock ticking and the sound of the bandages being wrapped. 

After he patched up your knees and elbow, he moved to your face.  He was really nervous so his hands trembled as he applied the disinfectant. He took a piece of cotton and stuck it to your face with some medical tape.  His fingers touched your skin as he was patching your wound. Your faces were really close together, and you were alone in the room. Your heart was beating really quickly. 

He finished patching your cheek, but he wanted to feel your soft skin. He looked at you with his golden eyes and cupped your cheek with his hand. He held you very delicately, almost like you would break. You look back at him with a surprised expression. You couldn't stop looking a this piercing eyes. Both of your faces were very red. He could feel the heat from face. It felt like time stopped as you both were looking into each others eyes. You both started slowly leaning forward. Your lips were centimeters apart.  Your heart was beating so fast. You could feel his breath on your skin. You both closed your eyes as your lips were about to touch.

"Hey Y/N! Are you feeling alright!" Ruggie said as he opened the door. You both froze and turned your heads to face him. Both of your faces were bright red. "Oh sorry, I didn't mean to interrupt shishish!" Ruggie said as he slowly closed the door and walked away.

You both were embarrassed and stunned. You hid your face in your hands as Jack turned away from you. It was silent for a few moments. Jack then took a deep breath and turned back to face you. He slowly took your hand and held it in his.

"U-um... Y/N." He looked at you with a serious expression. You lifted your head and met his eyes. "I...have something to tell you." Your face turned red and your heart sped up. 

"W-what is it? you replied. 

"I...I...have feelings for you." He said with a stutter. You could feel Jack's hand tremble. "Do you accept my feelings?" He said with a nervous face. You couldn't believe your ears. You gave his a smile as bright as the sun.

"Yes, yes of course!" You exclaimed as you gave Jack a hug. He was stunned at first, but then wrapped his arms around you showed you the most beautiful smile you have ever seen.

As you were both in the nurses office, Ruggie did his best to keep people away from the room so you could have your privacy hehe~
