The company had called me back out 4 months later. Something had gone wrong in Iraq and they needed us to sort it out.

"Spartan actual to watcher, how copy"

"We copy spartan actual, be advised,we've just recieved Intel that their has been sightings of vampires on sight."

"Copy all, Spartan actual out, you heard the man, Ramirez, Samuels keep an eye out" but it was already too late. The vampire made it past our line and bit me. My men did what they could but it was done, my life as a human was over...

Alice pov:

I was carrying a vase full of flowers down the hall. It hurt not seeing Alex, but I o ew the job came first. Though I wish I hadn't.

As I was walking a vision of Alex being loaded onto a Helicopter with a bite wound on his arm came to me. The shock alone caused me to drop the vase, which shattered upon impact with the ground.

"Alice what's wrong" esme asked as Edward read my mind.

"Its Alex..."

3rd person pov...

In Iraq...

Alex lay screaming as the venom from the vampire bite coursed through his veins. His vampire teammates did the best they could but it had already gotten to his heart, all they could do know was wait.

"Send him, and his team home" said the general to the major, who nodded.

Alex pov:

I awoke on a bed, I looked around for anything familiar. Trees, the sound of water. The smell of freshly picked flowers. I sat up and looked behind me. What I saw was alice, smiling and walking slowly towards me.

"Hello handsome" she said as she approached. I grabbed her and pulled her close, and for the first time, I heard her squeak.

"Hey hey, gentle, you're a new born, your gonna break me" she said smiling placing a kiss on my cheek. I looked in the mirror, and saw red eyes, pale skin, and the most gorgeous woman I had ever seen.

I flinched but noticed no difference in skin temperature.

"We're the same temperature now baby" she said as I pulled her in for a kiss. She deepend it, that's when my throat started to burn, she immediately took me hunting where I found and drank a bear.

On the way back alice held onto my arm, and kissed my shoulder, making me feel all the love she had held with in her.
