Katniss' POV:

I'm running in the woods, but I stumble on something. I look back to see, what I stumbled on and my horrors come true.

"Prim! PRIM!! Please wake up!! Mom!!Haymitch!!!! Guys WAKE UP!!!"I scream at my family members dead bodies. I crawl forward and see all of my friends' bodies.

"ANNIE!! COME ON!! WAKE UP!! FINN!! BROTHER WAKE UP!!! PEETA!!PLEASE WAKE UP!!PLEASE PLEASE, PEETA, PLEASE, WAKE UP!!! CLOVE!!JO!! COME ON GUYS WAKE UP!!! CATO!!! THRESH!!! MARVEL!! GLIMMER!! GUYS, PLEASE WAKE UP!!! PLEASE!! COOKIE, PLEASE JUST WAKE UP EVERYBODY!!" I scream with tears rolling down my face. This can't be true! Everyone I love is gone!

"Katniss!"

"Catnip, hello. Your loved ones are long gone and you are going to join them now!" Gale says and stabs me and I start screaming for dear life.

"Katniss!" I wake up to the second call and see Peeta looking intensely at me.

"Peeta... Oh my god, you're alive!" I say and hug him tightly, hearing his heartbeat and feeling his warmth.

"It's okay Katniss, we're all alive," I hear my brother say and I remember the slumber party we had to have today. 

"Sorry, I fell asleep. Let's just play something!" I say and Peeta pulls me closer to him if it's even possible.

"Let's play spin the bottle!" Finn says happily and we all agree. He spins the bottle and it lands on me.

"Truth or dare, sis?" he asks.

"Hmm, right now I will pick truth."

"Okay. And be totally honest, what has the worst thing ever happened to you?" I can feel a lump rising in my throat.

"When I got in the car crash with my daddy." I feel a tear roll down my eye and I wipe it away quickly, so no one would notice, but unfortunately, Finnick already noticed it.

"It's okay, Finn. I'm okay." He looks at me like he could see through me and smiles sadly at me.

"Okay," I say and spin the bottle. It lands on Peeta.

"Truth or dare?" I ask and he picks truth, what is interesting. 

"What are you planning to do after high school?" I ask.

"I was thinking about joining the army," he says, not looking at me. 

"Alright, um, so you won't be going to college?" I ask but Cato speaks up.

"Only one question, Kat!" He says and I stop myself.

"I'm gonna go change my clothes real quick," I say and go to the bathroom with my pajamas.

"Katniss, hold on a sec, I'm coming with you," Annie shouts and I let her in.

I sit on the toilet and start changing clothes slowly. 

"Kat, are you okay?" Annie asks and I look at her. I'm not gonna cry. I don't know anything about how it all is gonna be yet, so there's no point in crying.

"Yeah, I'm fine, Ann. Just tired." Actually, I'm not fine, but I am a little tired. I feel nauseous. And so I vomit to the toilet at right time.

"Okay, you're not fine. I'm just asking this for safety, so don't be upset. Have you and Peeta... You know..." She asks, looking guilty at me.

"No, Annie! I mean, no. We don't want to be rushing with our relationship," I say and vomit again.

"Then you have the flu," Annie says and I hear a puppy barking outside the bathroom door.

I change really fast and open the door. "Hey, Cookie,"I say as she crawls into my lap.

"OMG, Katniss Everdeen, where did you get this adorable little puppy!" she asks and shouts at the same time and pats Cookie. Oh yeah, she was sleeping on my legs under the blanket on the bed, so others could not have seen her.

"Peeta's second present," I say and hug her hard.

"He really loves you, you know." I look at Annie and smile.

"I know," I say and hug Cookie.

"You should rest now. Let's go to your bed." I smile at Annie. Wait, I can't move from my place on the floor.

"Annie, I can't get up. My legs don't move," I say and chuckle at my life struggles. She gets a worried expression and then it seems like she got an idea.

"You stay here, first I'm gonna call Prim, and If she doesn't know something, then I'm gonna call Peeta."

"Don't worry, I won't move!" I say and we start to laugh, while she goes to Prim's room. After a minute, they are back.

"Kat, are you sure you can't move?" Prim asks and I nod.

"I think you're too tired to move, including that you just threw up. I'm gonna get Peeta here, okay?" 

"Yeah," I answer and pet Cookie.

"Peeta, Can you come for a second?" Annie shouts and Peeta is in the doorway in seconds.

"Kat can't get up, 'cuz she's too tired and she just threw up." Great, now Peeta looks worried too.

"Are you okay?" I nod to him and I get a ride to my room.

Peeta places me on the bed and I roll under the blanket with Cookie.

"Sis, you okay?" I hear worried Finnick ask.

"Yeah, just ti...red," I say getting interrupted by a big yawn.

And I fall asleep.

I'm coming home from college with a letter that Peeta wrote in one hand and keys in the other. Peeta's coming home soon and he's gonna know that I'm pregnant. I've been dying to tell him. And tomorrow I finally can.

When he comes home, we can finally FINALLY get married, as we're engaged right now. I'm so so happy.

Wait, I have to go to the bakery before I go home. I need to tell Peeta's mom, that I'm pregnant with Peeta's child. I haven't slept with anybody else and I will never cheat on Peeta. I love him and he loves me.

"Hello!" I say cheerfully as I step in the bakery. Why is everybody so sad? I don't get it.

"Katniss, dear!" Mrs. Mellark comes to me, her eyes red and puffy from crying and hugs me tight.

"What's wrong?" I ask still happy.

"Peeta... Peeta's dead... My baby boy is dead!" she shouts and sobs at the same time and I start to cry. Silent tears roll down my cheek. I hit my leg on something from thin air.

"Ouch," I say quietly. I hit my leg on the wall. I feel someone's hands holding me close to their owner. I turn around and see Peeta snoring low and sweet. He's so cute when he sleeps. I kiss his cheek and get closer to him. I love you, Peeta Mellark. I just hope I won't have to lose you, I think to myself.
