Chapter 23: Stormhaven Harbor!

*minutes after the Trio split up*
Bakugo POV:
I had time till next sun fall to earn more money then the other two and I was set on beating them. I started to walk in the direction we originally started at. While entering the town earlier I spotted some water at the edge of it. I am pretty sure that could have been a sea. Maybe I will find some old fisher I can help for money. Then I buy a fishing rod and fish more fish then all the other fishers. Actually I am going to fish so much that all of them give up and I will be the only one that is left who sells fish. Then I sell them for loads of money and no one can complain or buy fish somewhere else cause I am the only Fisherman that still sells fish. They won't have a chance! HAHAHAHA!!!

I finally arrived at the signpost at the end of the town. This is where we had started. I could see the forest from here. It was weird. As I looked towards it all the memories we made there came back up. And then I remembered home. UA, all might, Aizawa-sensei, my dad and of course my mom. A sharp pain spread through my chest. It stoped hurting a while ago so why did it start hurting again weeks later. I ignored it and looked at the signpost. The town seemed to be north and the forest south. One of the signs also showed towards east. It said "Stormhaven Harbor". That's where I wanted to go! I grinned as I headed towards east along the "Silverbrook Village" wich is were Shoto and Deku are probable still walking around in.

It didn't take long until I saw water. It was surrounded by huge buildings and lit up by lamps decoration the multiple jettys. It was pretty dark so I didn't wonder why it was so empty. Actually there was just one old grandpa standing on a jetty still fishing. He was half my size had a long white beard and a blue, white striped hat. He was wearing big, round glasses and jeans dungarees, wich had so long legs that even after rolling them up they were still hanging on the floor. His left brown shoe already had a hole at the big toe. Next to him was a bucket filled with water and a couple of fish. His hands were shaking as he held the compared to him long fishing rod.

I walked over to him "Hey, old man!" He shrugged and looked like he was close to a heart attack as he turned around and looked up at me. "Do you have a job for me?" I asked. "Not for such an impolite brat like you" he shouted spitting all over the place. "I am not impolite I was just making sure you can hear me with your 200 years!" I shouted back. "200 years? I am merely 106! Did you ever hear something like having respect of your elders?!" This grandpa was starting to piss me off. "Just give me a god damn job you rotting old man!" All of of a sudden he pulled his fishing rod back in and smacked me on the head with it. "Are you crazy old man?!" I shouted while rubbing my head. "That's enough out of you brat! How about I teach you some manners! Take off your backpack!" He demanded. "What?! I don't take orders!" I spouted back. "All right, I guess you'll take a bath with it then!" He slammed his fishing rod against my legs and I lost balance. Damn that old guy was stronger then he locked. All of a sudden I lost grip of the floor and fell over the edge of the jetty landing straight in the water. I emerged panting and coughing. The water was ice cold and all the clothes I was wearing weighed me down. The old man stood at the edge of the jetty looking down on me with a bright grin. "Oh just wait old man I don't care how old you are I will beat the shit out of you!" I shouted. "I'd like to see you try." He answered. It took me multiple tries to hieve first the backpack and then myself back on solid ground. While the entire process the old man just kept laughing his ass off. Once I finally made it he said "Alright, alright. You've got the job. Work for me and I'll teach you how to behave properly." "No!" I grabbed my backpack and was about to leave as he swung his fishing rod a third time and hit me with it. Before I could complain he said "I didn't ask. I said you get the job and ill teach you manners. Let's start right now. When someone offers you something you say 'No, thank you. That is way to kind of you.' And then you smile and before leaving you bow. But either way as I said before I didn't offer I decided. So come with me before you get a fever!" And then he grabbed his bucket and Fishing rod and dragged me with him. No matter how much I squirmed and complained he wouldn't let go and brought me all the way to his house.

Once we went inside he demanded me to take of my wet clothes and when I declined he hit me with his fishing rod. Then he told me to take a hot bath. I declined once more and he hit me with the fishing rod. He told me to put on fresh clothes, I said no, he hit me again. He told me to eat, I didn't want to, so he made me by hitting me once more. By now I had enough! I was about to beat up the old man and rob him as he threw a thick blanket at me, grabbed me by the collar and dragged me outside. Then he pushed me into a small wooden fishing boat with a burning lantern at the front of it. "You've been excessively annoying and bad mannered today so you will sleep out here. If you even think about running away I'll find you and drag you back. Also, I still have your stuff and you won't get it back if you continue to be this way." Before I could say another word he stomped back into the house and slammed the door behind him.

I sighed. What the hell... I layed my head on the bench of the boat and placed the blanket on top of me. This wasn't too bad. The sky was clear and coved with a million starts. It was quit beautiful. All of a sudden I missed my two extras. Recently there hasn't been a single night in wich we didn't sleep in one bed. It always made it a hundert times compfier when those two cuddled up all tight to me. (Don't tell them though) When did it start again? Oh, now I remember. In that moment the image of my mom stabbing me in the chest flashed back into my mind and my chest started burning again. I quickly tried to get my mind on a different topic.
That night I slept worse then I have in a while. Even worse then when we slept in the forest. I'm sure I never wanted someone by my side this badly before...
