Pycho-Path

-Third Person's POV-

"Okay....do your absolute best!" The white haired male shouted, extending his arms to the side, leaving him totally vulnerable. About 7 to 8 Metres away was Hanasaki, with a shotgun. "Kobayashi, are you sure you wanted to do this?" Hanasaki asked, shifting the gun from his right hand to his left.

"Yes! Shoot your best!!" Kobayashi exclaimed. The brown-ish haired male sighed and took a deep breath. "You're the one who asked for it...." He mumbled and unlocked the gun. He positioned his hand and pulled the trigger. He released bullets after bullets but none of them hit Kobayashi.

"Darn it! I thought for sure it would work if you were the one trying to kill me!" Kobayashi growled, kicking away stones that were around his feet. Hanasaki put down the gun and walked over to Kobayashi. "Hmm...guess we have to keep on trying... have you tried hanging yourself?"

"Yeah..the whole tree break into two...it was more horrific for the tree than for me..." Kobayashi replied, sitting down on the rough terrain. Hanasaki held back his laugh and plopped down beside Kobayashi, chucking rocks. "There must be some way to kill you...but, more than that, I for sure thought you gave up..." The taller male sighed dejectedly.

Kobayashi scoffed. "I will NEVER give up...I'm someone that society hate. I'm a monster to them and soon, to myself..."

"But...you're not to me...You're just plain old Kobayashi Yoshio to me..." Hanasaki said, smiling kindly. Kobayashi sighed and avert his gaze towards the lake. The sun was shining and the lights bounced of the surface of the water. It looks like twinkling stars at night. Kobayashi was about to say something but was interrupt by a sudden phone call from Hanasaki's smart watch. "Oops, gotta take this...I'll be right back.." He said, standing up and walking towards another direction.

Kobayashi glanced at Hanasaki. A few days ago, they were about to kiss. Just a few more seconds and they'll kiss. Kobayashi can't shake that image off from his head but Hanasaki was acting completely normal the day after that, so he just play along. In reality, the white haired male was insecure. He was afraid to love and rather be alone than to hurt Hanasaki. He knew why. It's because, he love him. He cares about Hanasaki and he would want to protect Hanasaki as much as Hanasaki wanted to protect him.

Hanasaki walked back and smiled apologetically." Sorry Kobayashi...mission call..gotta run!"

"It's okay. Go on." Kobayashi replied.

Hanasaki waved goodbye and took off the other direction. The white haired male looked at Hanasaki's broad back. He kept on looking until Hanasaki disappeared from his view.

"Gotta kill myself...that's my wish...I just wanna die..." He mumbled, chucking rocks into the lake. "Hanasaki...I bet he'll leave me too...sooner or later, after he found out how dangerous I am..he'll leave...probably that's why my parents left me..."

Kobayashi looked up to the infinite sky. He heard bird chirping. "Mr. Bird...it must be nice to be free like that..."

"I should go...now..." Kobayashi mumbled, standing up and brushing off dirt from his trousers. "Another long day to pass...."

-One week later-

A lonely boy was sitting at a edge of the river. He knew even if he were to fall down, it won't harm him. "......man...it sure is boring without that idiot around...." Kobayashi muttered, resting his chin on his arms.

"And he was making such a huge fuss when I was M.I.A for so long. I didn't hear his annoying chattering for a week already...." Kobayashi mumbled, clearly irritated with Hanasaki.

He sighed and decided to give up. "Maybe he did get bored of me...well, can't blame me...I can't do what normal people does. I can't walk in public or visit places where there are lots of people too...instead of me trying to hurt myself, I'll probably hurt the people around me..." Kobayashi thought to himself while he was walking back to his place.

-Kobayashi Yoshio's place-

Kobayashi sat down on the cold, white concrete floor. He took out a book that Hanasaki had lent to him a week ago. "Tragic....love...story...Romeo and Juliet..." Kobayashi echoed. The white haired make briefly flipped through the book. He wasn't the type to read book, especially literature. Soon enough, he was already bored with the hardcover literature novel. He sat the book aside and laid down on his back, looking up at the slowly drifting clouds above. There were some really funny shapes but the adolescent wasn't in a mood to laugh.

"Where is Hanasaki? Don't tell me he died somewhere...." The lonely male muttered. He sighed loudly and was startled by the sound of a incoming message from his smart-necklace. He fumbled to get it open.

"Hey Kobayashi, sorry I haven't contact you for some time...I have some exams going on and Akechi took away my smart watch. But, exam are finally over and I can finally see you again. I really miss you Kobay___"

The white haired adolescent stopped the message midway. "So he didn't get bored of me...."

-Kobayashi Yoshio's POV-

-Two days after that-

"Have you been lonely my cute princess?" Hanasaki laughed. I turned around and yawned. It was eight in the morning when I was awoken by a loud shriek. "Hanasaki? What are you doing here?"

"I obviously came to see you! Kobayashi...you're really are cold hearted aren't you..." Hanasaki said, his shoulders drooped. I stood up and rubbed both of my eyes. "It's eight...in the morning...you're too early Hanasaki..."

Hanasaki marched over and suddenly hugged me. "I know... but, I'm deprived from your absence.. I miss you so much!"

"Go away....I'm still sleepy..." I mumbled, laying down back to sleep once I shoved him aside. "Hey...can't you see that your lover is right here?"

I yawned again. All this yawning is hurting my jaw. "Who is my lover? We're just friends..." I told him half heartedly. Hanasaki wore a pained expression on his face. "B..But...you said you liked me! And..I confessed to you too...it's mutual wasn't it?"

I opened my eyes slowly and sat up again. My head throb a little and it took some time for m eyes to adjust to the brightness. "I confessed? Did I?" I asked him, scratching my head. Hanasaki nodded.

"Maybe I did...but I didn't exactly agreed to be your lover...or soul mate...or whatever you called." I told him. Hanasaki pouted and crossed his arms. "And here I thought, we're finally a couple...."

I sighed softly. "I'm a guy Hanasaki...look at me..what do you find cute or pretty about me?" I asked him, motioning him to take a great look at my skinny body.

"Everything! Your voice, your attitude, the way you smile or laugh...I like everything about you!"

"Hm..is that it? Look, it's not that I don't wanna date you, it's just that..."

"It's just that what?" Hanasaki demanded.  I was about to continue my sentence but was interrupt by a phone call from Hanasaki's smart watch. Hanasaki looked at the caller identity and smiled a little.

"Be right back Kobayashi."

I sat down and turned my gaze from Hanasaki to the mesmerising view of the morning sky. I focused on hearing the relaxing noises of birds chirping, the breeze and occasionally, I heard children screaming from afar. A few minutes after that, Hanasaki tapped me on the shoulder and I spun around to face him. "What is it?" I asked him.

"My classmate needed something from me, can you come along...we might need your power..."

My powers? That's rare...talking about classmate, isn't this guy home schooled. "Aren't you home schooled?"

"Huh? Yea, but it's a deal I made with Akechi-san. I need to go to school once every month. So, my classmate...she needed help." Hanasaki explained to me briefly.

'She' huh...so it's a girl? I wonder how she's like...

"Sure..I guess I can help you out..."

"Thanks a lot!" Hanasaki smiled and patted me on my head.

-A certain construction site-

"Miyako! Sorry we're late!" Hanasaki exclaimed. A girl with green eyes and brown hair turned around. She tied her hair in a loose ponytail and she was wearing a yellow blouse with a pink mini skirt. Her socks reached up all the way to her knee.

"Hanasaki-kun! I'm glad you made it! Hmm..who is this?" She said, turning her gaze towards me.

I shuddered when she look at me. Something's off with her eyes and smile. That look sent a chill down my spine and I hated that feeling. Hanasaki smiled broadly. "This is Kobayashi...the guy I told you about!"

She smiled. "I want to shake your hand...but, Hanasaki -kun told me that you can't get close to people...so I'll just introduce myself." She said, giving me a sweet but weird smile. "I'm Miyako Mai. Hanasaki-kun's classmate. I've heard tons of thing about you, so I hope we can get along!" Miyako continued.

Hanasaki looked satisfied. "So..." he said, getting back to the point. "What's the problem?"

Miyako crouched down and pointed to a small crack. "You see, I was on my way to the convenience store, and I heard a cat meowing and scratching, so I followed the sound I ended up here." She said.

"Okay...so?" Hanasaki asked.

"Turns out, two of the cat's kitten fell into this crack here. I tried to shove my hand, but I can't reach in to grab the kittens. So...I was hoping that... you can save the kittens..." Miyako explained.

"Oh sure..I thought that it was something serious...heh..I guess I was over thinking things..." Hanasaki laughed nervously. "Okay, we'll help save those kitt___"

"Useless...." I whispered, interrupting Hanasaki. Both of them turned to look at me. "Wait...why? Don't you feel sad for those kittens?" Miyako asked me, her brows furrowing.

"Why should I? Sooner or later, they're going to die anyway... better now than never...." I said, not giving a damn about those cats. After all, all living things are bound to die one day..well, almost all living things...

Miyako stood put and buried her white face in her hands. "How could you? Take a look at the mother cat...she's been pawing and clawing her way through just to save her babies!" She exclaimed, pointing towards the messy, orange cat.

"They're going to kill their own mother if it comes to it....it's just how animals survive..."

Hanasaki looked hurt. He grabbed Miyako's shoulder and comforted her. "I'll talk to him for a while..don't take it to heart okay..Kobayashi's always like that but honestly he's a good guy."

I clicked my tongue when he said 'good guy'. I hate it when he said I'm good, or I'm angelic. Hanasaki walked over and stood beside me. "Hey...can you please not say all that stuff to Miyako? She's just trying to help the cat..." he whispered.

"I'm not wasting my energy over that petty thing! End of story!" I growled and shoot him a deathly glare. Hanasaki sighed. "Please! Just this one time!" He pleaded.

I shook my head and sighed. This guy won't give up until I say yes. "Fine...let's get this over with already...you go bring Miyako somewhere else.."

Hanasaki smiled broadly and gave my hand a squeeze. Then he ran back to Miyako and mouthed me a thanks. They talked for a while then Miyako turned her head to look at me before walking away side by side with Hanasaki.

Let's get this done and over with. I marched up to the small crack and reached my hand out causing the crack to explode from my 'fog'. Once the hole was big enough, I peeked into the crack and saw two orange kitten laying down. The mother cat ran down and grabbed her kittens out. But, seems like one of them died before they could get out.

"See...I told you didn't I..."

-Third person's POV-

-After 30 minutes-

Kobayashi sat down crossed leg while waiting for Hanasaki and Miyako to return. He glanced towards the dead kitten and looked up towards the sky. He sighed. "Slow...."

"Kobayashi! Did you get them out?!"

The white haired male stood up and faced Hanasaki. "Not...all of them..." Kobayashi mumbled, pointing towards the dead kitten. Miyako covered her mouth in horror. "Why?! What happened?!? She asked.

"Suffocation...it was tight and there were two of them...it's the survival of the fittest...only the stronger ones made it out alive" The white haired youth replied. Miyako sobbed. "But...there were alive just now..." then she turned her head and faced Kobayashi. "If you weren't delaying just now, both of them could've survive! It's all your fault!!" She screamed, tears dropping down her smooth white face.

"Huh?!? If I didn't help you, both of them are dead by now! At least, I help one of them out!" Kobayashi shouted back, furious with the all the blames and finger pointing. "You can't even do anything without Hanasaki or my help!"

Miyako stomped angrily and grabbed Hanasaki's arm. Tears were wetting her beautiful face. "H...Hanasaki-kun! Why are you even friends with this horrible guy?!"

The brown-ish haired male stood in between Miyako and Kobayashi, extending both of his arms out. "Whoa...time out! No fighting!!" He said. " Miyako..." He turned towards Miyako. " Kobayashi is...correct in a way. At least, one of them survive..." then, he turned to Kobayashi. "It's not your fault...but, stop shouting like that to Miyako..she's just feeling a little under the weather right now..."

The white haired male clicked his tongue and looked away.

"Hanasaki-kun! Are you serious?!"

"Yeah..Miyako, why don't you calm down first...hmm I know! Wait here, I'll get you something to drink, that'll calm you down!" The brown-ish haired male smiled and bolted to the nearest vending machine.

-Meanwhile-

"Great.. why am I STUCK here with you?" The girl in ponytail sneered. She deliberately rolled her words when she said 'you'. The white haired male sighed and sat down. "Shut up...you freaking maniac..." he whispered softly.

"Excuse me?! Did you just say maniac?! Oh my gosh... I really can't understand what Hanasaki-kun sees in you!"

"Hanasaki-kun! Hanasaki-kun! Don't you anything else to say?! Stop whining and moaning about everything! This is how life works so just deal with the freaking thing! Don't just run your mouth like you know everything!"

Miyako was stunned. She had never been so humiliated in her whole life, and Kobayashi was the first to make her feel like this. She stood up, hands by her hips. "Gross! Hey! Remember your place! Someone homeless like you, don't even worth Hanasaki-kun's time..furthermore, you're a guy! G.U.Y. okay! A male! You can't possible be his lover...only an idiot will think anything is possible...and sweetheart..." Miyako waved her finger up and glared. "that is life..." She scoffed and shoot Kobayashi a ' Shut-up-looser' glare.

The white haired male sighed loudly and turned his head towards the angry teenager. "Quit bitching around idiot... did I ever say we were lovers? Did he ever told you that he was dating me? Did you ever heard anyone of us said anything about kissing or cuddling or holding hands? No! The answer is NO! That's because...we are just friends!"

"And..if all this whining and bitching around is just because you were jealous, then, you can stop. There's nothing between us, so you know."

Miyako crossed her arms and demanded. She wasn't satisfied yet. "Then, why are you being all chummy with Hanasaki-kun? It's unnatural to see two guys being so... close..."

Kobayashi was starting to get agitated. "Could you just give it a rest?! How am I suppose to tell you, so your small nutshell brain could understand?! WE ARE JUST FRIENDS! The only freaking reason I stayed close to him is because, he said he'd kill me! That's all, so get that in your thick skull!"

"Kill you? Hmm...so you're not just homeless but a psychopath? You should've said that earlier, I would totally kill you if it means getting Hanasaki-kun all to myself.." Miyako laughed loudly.

"What the hell? You're out of your freaking mind...you know what, do what you want, i'm outta here..."

The girl with ponytail chuckled softly. "Yeah..sure..I'll do what I want...I'll do whatever I want and you'll..."

"Regret it.."
