"I'll be taking that headband of yours now..."

After what felt like ages staring back at the other team, Todoroki instructed Iida to go. Our opponents are now headed straight for us.

Tokoyami spoke up,
"I thought we would not have to deal with this confrontation until later on in the contest."

Midoriya, undeterred, nodded his head.
"We have to keep moving! Only half the time is left!"

When we turned to run somewhere else, we stopped as we saw how suddenly all teams were coming straight towards us on all sides. We heard a buzzing sound and whipped our heads back to face Todoroki and his team.

Just then, Kaminari let out a scream,

"Indiscriminate Shock!...

1.3 million volts!"

The strikes of electricity went everywhere, including towards us. At the last second, Dark Shadow blocked us all, with them receiving all the inflicting damage. Once it was over, I noticed that the rest of the teams had all been frozen in place due to the rod Momo was holding that spread Todoroki's ice everywhere.

Walls of ice had started to form which wasn't helping at all with our plan to evade the team. As they neared, Tokoyami called for Dark Shadow to attack, but it was no use. Momo had created a shield that blocked its attack. I blasted us back in order to try and create at least a bit more space between us and them, but they kept advancing.

"Momo's creation is seeming to be the hardest to deal with."

"That's where you're wrong Midoriya. In this instance, Kaminari's quirk is worse."

I nod my head, agreeing with Tokoyami. Uraraka questioned why.

"If it had been sunlight, Dark Shadow would have definitely been ripped apart.
If Kaminari continues to use his electricity, attacking will be difficult."

We halted in our retreat, seeing as there's no more space unless we cross the line and disqualify ourselves. The walls of ice blocked us from any possible escape. On top of that, I noticed that Uraraka was looking a little bit pale.

It must be from when we kept going into the sky

She would float us all down safely... it's taking a toll on her.

I would try and blast us out of here, but my legs are shaking from the previous uses and even if I could there's a chance that anyone could take us out from behind those walls.

From above us, the intercom yelled out that there was only one more minute left until the cavalry battle was over. We kept sidestepping to the opposite side that Todoroki was nearing. We had a good amount of distance between each other in this standoff, which probably would've kept us safe 'till the end.

I was wrong of course.

In one swift movement, Todoroki's team vanished and suddenly came into view right behind us. I looked up and saw that they had gotten a hold of Midoriya's headband.

Well... shit

The opposing team wrapped back around to where they used to be, with their new headband of points.

We were left at a stand still, with everyone on my team still in shock. Time was ticking and standing still with no points isn't the best option to be doing.

I started to push forward, snapping everyone out of their thoughts.

"C'mon you guys! We have to hurry and get our points back!"

Dark Shadow seemed reluctant to do so and Takoyami offered that we go in search of other points.

"No! Y/n's right! We don't know how the other teams have their points split up!"

After Deku said that, we all headed straight for Todoroki. Deku's right arm started producing vibrant colors on it once we were a couple feet away from them. Todoroki's arm suddenly lit on fire but it was too late because Midoriya had moved quicker.

We were able to get a hold on a headband and backed up. Uraraka let out a surprised gasp and told our friend to look at the cloth. When he looked down, it had 70 points, not the 10 million.

"Tokoyami!"

Tokoyami released Dark shadow on the team as we charged for them once again. Kaminari let out massive volts of electricity on the shadow which blocked them. From behind the team. An explosion was let out and I looked up to the sky towards the sound of someone streaming.

Bakugou

"YOU DAMNED HALF AND HALF BASTARD!!"

Bakugou catapulted himself straight towards Todoriki. So close to the nearing headbands around his headbands, Deku reached out his hand.

"Times up!"

And that was it

As the announcer began to speak, Deku got off from where he was and looked at us all, his eyes filled with guilt.

"You guys... I'm so sorry."

Tokoyami, Uraraka and I looked at each other and nodded our heads. Dark Shadow came in front and showed a second headband.

Tokoyami stood beside him and crossed his arms.

"Todoroki was obviously shaken up to the point where he left himself vulnerable. I was aiming for the ten million points, but things aren't always as you wish it may be...
Midoriya, thank you for releasing that last attack, it was able to leave an opening." He said as Dark Shadow brought up another headband.

With that I looked at Deku to see that he was on the brink of tears. And just on time, the intercom announced our team was in fourth place. This seemed to be the last straw for Deku, because he just let them tears release like a river.

"These four teams will advance to the final round!"

As the audience roared with excitement, all us students began to head for the exit of the center arena.

"Now then, we will be taking an hour break for lunch before we start the afternoon activities. Until then, have a good time!"

As soon as that announcement ended, I slipped away from the rest of the students. I scoured the halls of the arena in hopes of finding the promised land...

As I continued to walk through the halls, I looked up to see if there were any signs that designated any directions.

"Stupid fucken nonexistent signs. They should seriously consider investing in that..."

In the distance, I saw a light that most likely led to the outside of the arena. Thinking that this would probably be the best chance to find one outside I started to head for it. As I neared it, I could've sworn I heard voices, so I stopped and waited to see if I was right.

Out of nowhere, I felt a presence from behind me, slowly inching towards me. The hairs at the back of my neck shot up in high alert. I tilted my head slightly to the right and caught a glimpse of a hand reaching for my shoulder. Flashbacks from the USJ center and Shigaraki's words flooded my mind and I went into overdrive.

Have they found me

It could just be a random passerby....

But why aren't they speaking

Fuck!

As soon as that hand almost landed on me, I whirled around and sent a kick towards the person. I couldn't tell who it was because for some fucken reason the hallways were super fucken dark.

Typical horror movie shit

Guess I'ma be the first bitch to die...

Not on my fucken watch

Not letting the silhouette have an opening point, I threw a punch in their direction. Unluckily for me, they used that chance to grab a hold onto my wrist and pull me towards them. Before I could let out any noise, their other hand reached toward me and covered my mouth. They spun me around so now my back was facing them. I shoved my elbow into their gut which caused them to bend forward and grunt in pain. Taking that chance, I spun around and got ready to strike. I glared and opened my mouth to speak.

"Who the fuck are you?"

Lemme just say, when I decided to go over all the comments that you all have left, I died of laughter. I didn't expect that a couple of you would say that Iida is creepy and that made me cackle. When I read over that section, it did seem kinda creepy😟😟😟 we got a damn yandere in our mix. Who knows, he could probably be one 👁👁 I got some tings in store for this fic even though its going along with the plot of the show...
