Chapter 28 Changing the Plan

Qingniang felt relieved and said, "So who are you looking for?"

"Your daughter told me that the boy I'm looking for was abducted by Wang Dajia. He brought him here. So do you know the place where they do business?"

Qingniang nodded. Of course she knew. She was abducted by Wang Dajia too.

Great! She knew!

Ke Ruan asked, "Can you take me there?"

Qingniang nodded, "Sure. It's just that..."

She lowered her head hesitantly. There were two tough guys waiting outside. The procurer said Ke Ruan asked for all those. It was obviously a lie. Ke Ruan was nothing like that. He was here to save someone. So there must be someone who was trying to set him up.

Qingniang then told Ke Ruan what the procurer asked her to do, which made Ke Ruan frozen. The thought of two guys waiting outside to drug him made him chill. What would they do next? He couldn't even imagine.

This kind of life really sucked.

Qingniang nodded. This was for the best.

Qingniang nodded. She didn't overthink. 

Ke Ruan looked like a decent man. She needn't worry at all. 

Ke Ruan nodded, too. But as soon as he touched her on her waist, he felt a little repulsive. But all he was thinking about was that knowing martial arts was really useful. He didn't have the chance to use it in the palace. Now that he was out here, he could finally enjoy himself.

Ke Ruan let Qingniang hide behind him. They were looking at the house from a nearby turning.

Qingniang then said in a low voice,"People who were sold here are locked in that room. If they didn't accept to entertain the guests, they will have nothing to eat. What's worse, they'll be beaten at least once a day. Luckily, your friend came here earlier tonight, so he should be fine by now."
