Its dark ...

It smells really bad .... like a sewer?.

... 

"she- .... oka-.... wai- ... Ne- .. res....".

'who is that ... ? I hear voices talking'.

... 

Voices? .... whos voice .... who are they? .......... w-who am I?.

Opening my eyes slowly I felt a heavy weight across my body and an aching sensation took over, 'why does my body hurt'.

A loud angry voice startled me,"DONNIE ITS BEEN ALMOST THREE WEEKS! YOU SAID SHE WOULD BE OKAY!".

"Raph Calm Down!", I could hear shuffling in the background.

"IM DOING MY BEST HERE DONT YOU THINK IM NOT WORRIED SICK ABOUT HER!?!? Ive Stayed Up Almost Every Night", his voice choked out not finishing what he was going to say.

"Guys we all just need to calm down a little and take a breather~".

"SHUT UP MIKEY!", I heard stomping as it got farther away and then left all together.

There was silence and all that could be heard was the sound of water dripping next to me, 'its an IV bag ... am I in a hospital? .... no this is something else'.

I sat up looking around and noticed a lot of medical and science equipment, 'am i hurt? I dont feel it ... what happened to me'. I placed my hand on my head then thought a bit more, 'I cant seem to remember Anything'.

I left the bed and looked around a bit stumbling across what I thought was a person at first, 'Is he sle- ....... what the heck is that? Hes Huge?!? and green? .... somehow I find it cute ....', not wanting to get to close I moved away from the sleeping green person.

'okay think, im here for a reason. reason being im hurt? But how did I end up this way? from the yelling they did before I guess they we're worried about something ....... was 'i' what they were worried about?', not feeling sure I looked around a bit more until I found something that looked very comfortable.

"a bean bag chair .... just a bit wouldn't hurt right", sinking into the bean bag it was instantly more comfortable then the bed I was on before.

'this is amazing~ *purrrrrr*'"Wait pur? I-is that me?!?", I checked myself and the sound Was indeed coming from me.

Confused and questioning how I could make that sound something else happened that confused me even further, "oh ..... my .... God! I have a tail", it swaying side to side and I checked the rest of me. "I have ears to match it ...". I sank back into the bean bag trying to figure out if this was normal or not.

"Geez they didn't have to yell, I was only trying to help", Mikey was sulking and getting ready to see his sister like he did everyday since she was not waking up any time soon.

"this time I'll read her a princess book that I made myself, the twist is that the skater monk saves the day with his T-rex buddy", he said happily as he walked into the lab and walking passed Donnie.

"hey cupca- .... wait?", Confused on why she wasn't there he looked around in a panic. "shes not under the bed!?! not in the bathroom?!? Not with Donnie!?!", he went over to ask Don but saw a familiar tail.

Going closer he heard the purring, "Cupcake? how did you get over there- WHAO!", he dodged a surprise attack.

"Ay! E-easy!", he said holding his hands up.

"what do you want?!?", I said putting up my defenses.

He looked hurt as he replied, "I came to- Wait No Hold On ... are you alright?", he stepped closer and I moved away.

Glaring at him he knew something was wrong, "(y/n) .... its Me, come on don't mess around like that or your going to hurt yourself". He said in a sad but caring tone making you feel bad for attacking out of self defense.

"I don't trust you", I said bluntly.

"wa- what are you talking about ... Cupcake your just a little jumpy from just waking up l-lets go talk to Don", he said sadly.

"Mikey what are you doing- (Y/n) your awake", he tried to get close to me but I moved away.

He looked shocked by this and then got serious, " your acting like you don't know-.... do you know who I am?".

"n-no I don't", my words left them with shock and worry. 'why are they looking at me like that'.

"do you know your name? how old you are? what about your family? your birthday?", he said throwing questions at me.

"wa- my name .... its (y/n) I think? .... I look 14? ....I don't know my birthday and I don't think I have family?", I said sounding unsure about everything.

"But we are your-", the orange masked turtle got cut off.

"she has Amnesia and from the looks of it shes forgotten everything about us and who she is", he said sounding sad and upset.

Looking for an exit I scanned the room, "What are we going to do Donnie! when Raph and Leo find out there going to be crushed ....WHAT ABOUT DAD!!!", he yelled.

"Mikey Calm down! we just need to- HEY WAIT!!", he yelled as I ran away from them.

'Nows my chance- What the heck!', they caught up to me faster then I thought and blocked the exit. 'there fast .... like crazy fast'.

"we cant let you out yet we need a plan", Donnie said closing the door.

I felt a breeze and looked to see another door leading to a different area, "No WAIT MIKEY CLOSE THE GARAGE DOOR!".

I ran over and slid over and under many things but he was still faster then me just by a bit, "No You Don't!", I grabbed hold of a liquid and spilled it in front of him making him slip.

"Whoaaaa! OOoffff!", he crashed into some boxes that where off to the side.

"See Ya Later!!", I went out the door and I found myself in some subway tunnel. 'weird but I can work with this! ESCAPE!!!'.

I was going down the tunnel and stopped once I felt like I wasn't being followed, "now that I'm free lets see if I can find a way out of here", wandering around in the tunnels trying to find the way out.

"MIKEY!? You Alright?", Donnie helped him up and checked him over.

"Oww ... im good~", he rubbed his head.

"she went to the right ... we need back up shes on defense and wont let us near her".

"whos to defensive?", Leos voice was heard from behind them. 

"L-leoooo my bro! .... e-eheh", Mikey looked away from him.

"Wheres (y/n)?", he looked over at the empty bed. "and why are you over here- ....did she Run Away!?!". He shouted looking out the garage door.

"She woke up with Amnesia and now she's in the tunnels", Donnie said taking out a tracker.

"Ill go get Raph", Mikey went out of the Lab.

"Did you put a tracker on her?", Leo looked over at the device.

"call me what you want but after all the times we lost her im not risking it a third time", he had the signal on me pin pointed.

"no no, I was going to say 'Finally' good job", Leo patted him on the back and Raph ran in.

"SHE RAN AWAY!?!?", He shook Donnies shoulders. 

"Yes, now if you don't mind shes getting further away", He brushed him off and went Down the path I went.

"who would live down here ... I guess they would .... they cant be my family, right?", I said walking along the rails and thinking it over then stopped. 

"if they are I did a crummy thing just now and ran away  .... or I was abducted and they are trying to trick me", talking to myself as I tried to sort out the problems.

"okay me lets sort out the Pros and cons", I started walking again.

"pros; they know me, they seem to have information on me, they looked like they were taking care of me up till I ran, they looked worried and sad when I said rude things.".

"cons; I don't know them, they might have taken me from my real parents and lies to keep me for dinner, I don't trust them, they have a scary looking lab".

"welp that settles that! I make a new life for myself now!", I said trying to convince myself at this point.

Looking around It felt like I was going nowhere, "who am I kidding ... I think I just ran away from my family", I had a gut feeling telling me to go back.

Turning around I started to walk back when I heard foot steps, "someone's coming? .... no that sounds like". Feeling fear and panic something was telling me I wasn't safe and should hide.

'Oh theres a high place I can hide', I climbed up onto a dark ledge with a little space for me to hide.

The foot steps turned into stomping and soon I saw what I was hiding from, 'w-who are they ... and why do they have a massive alligator?!?'.

"Kraang must report findings to Kraang prime, the one known as fail experiment was found and will now be put into the extraction chamber for Kraang extraction", there was about four on each side of the massive beast.

My body trembled as I looked at it and felt a very heavy sinking feeling in my heart, 'I don't know why but I really hate that thing'.

When they passed by I was to scared to move and a splitting headache took its place, "Ack! my head". small pieces filled my mind like a flash and remember rushing water and screaming then a face as I sank into a hole of water looking terrified.

"It says here she should be close", I heard the familiar voice.

't-that was Donnie? right, the tall one?', I watched from above  snapping out of the memories that flooded my head.

"If Shes Here Then Where Cuz Im Seein A Whole Lota Nothin Don", the one in red said sounding agitated.

"She doesn't remember us so you think shes hiding", Mikey said looking around.

'that one is Mikey ... they yelled at him when I was still half asleep', I shifted a bit trying to hide deeper.

"Well lets look around", the one in blue said.

They searched for about 30 minutes and the more they looked the more upset they got with them selves and each other, "This is hopeless ... she's here but she's hiding, it doesn't help that she's so small".

"thanks for that Captain Obvious", the one in red said sarcastically.

My ears perked up to a pair of footsteps, 'something else is coming'. I smelled something familiar and for some reason it was comforting like tea and cheese.

"My Sons What Are You Doing Here? Where Is Your Sister?", it was a rat that spoke with worry and concern.

"Sensai! ... w-well", Mikey started.

"You see ... uh, Don?", the one in red looked at the tallest.

"she ran away B-But shes here just ... Hiding", he looked around.

"she cant remember us, Don says she has amnesia", the other finished. 

He looked over in my direction for a second, "you are right she is indeed hiding ... take a seat and have patience and Do Not Speak". He sat down and closed his eyes.

'what are they doing?', I came out a little from my hiding spot. 'why does he smell so familiar? ..... like one of the very first things I can remember is that smell', I sneaked a bit closer and went down slowly.

'she is like a curious cat at the moment, she has always been this way ever since she was but a child', Splinter thought to him self feeling her inch her way over to them.

The other noticed her as well but stayed still and didn't move, ' she stopped in front of me? interesting since she has no recollection of us'.

I was in front of the Rat and a tear fell from my eyes, 'why am I .... who is he to me'.

Looking over him I circle around and the smell was filling me with a happy feeling. I sat down in front of him and some questions, ".... w-who are you ... who are you to me that I feel like crying and yet happy?".

He let out a chuckle and opened his eyes, "you do not remember me yet you came over to me, I am your father my musume".

"but I don't ... we don't ... how are you", I couldn't finish my questions.

"you are my adopted daughter ... I found you a long time ago in an alley way inside a box", he said sadly.

I looked behind me and noticed they shifted a little closer to me making me jump up and hide behind the man, "and they are?".

"they are your brothers, rambunctious at times but they mean well when they followed you here", he spoke so calmly and it put me at ease.

"now", he got up and extended his hand. "lets go home", I took his hand as he guided me back.
