He looks down at the smiling blond boy in the black and white painting and slowly runs his boney fingers over the picture in his hand. His mind drifted to every good memory he could, his mind doing anything to keep him distracted from feeling the pain in his chest. He felt every ounce of his heart shatter into millions of pieces like dropping a china glass on concrete. He feels eyes on him and he looks up feeling hands run through his hair "dream..?" he mumbles lightly his mins wanting this to be so. He looks around and sees nothing but the empty room around him. He sighs looking down at the picture and finally letting small tears roll down his cheeks hitting the oil painting. So stupid to even think he could love a man from 1669.

The boy stares at himself in the mirror feeling eyes staring at him through the mirror but doesn't walk away as most would. Looking away wouldn't get the burning eyes off him anyways so he just looks at his scrawny beaten body with slight disgust. He sighs letting his hair down from the low ponytail he's been wearing for three days now, not much time to take care of yourself during a war. He hears a scream calling for his name, cringing a little wondering why his mom would name a child that. "David come down please" 

He walks down the stairs pausing before stepping off the last two steps as he hears a gunshot and some screaming trying to get his mind off of what that bullet was for before walking out the living room seeing his father and twin brother, Philza and Wilbur. He looks around a bit then just stares at them waiting for them to say something but something in the room felt cold. "techno grab your coat." his father says as if is going to break into tears at any given moment as he slowly walks over glancing at the sleeping toddler on the floor, a small little blond boy smiling in his sleep. Techno sighs grabbing his coat and looking back at Wilbur and Phil. 

The room was filled to the brim with a painful silence the only thing he could hear was his own breath and heartbeat. Another gunshot fills the air cutting through the wall of quiet before letting it fall into it again. Phil looks at Wilbur and says quietly as if worried the quiet wall was gonna get upset over the fact someone tried to break it "watch Tommy while Techno and I go out for a bit alright?" Wilbur slightly nods before just walking over to the small blond boy sleeping on the floor glancing as Techno and Phil walk outside. 

The sun was shining, sky blue a beautiful day is what the eye could catch in an all. Techno lets the sun hit his face ignoring the issues in the world. 

"mom again?" techno says sorta knowing what this thick silence was about

Phil slightly nods and looks down "don't know where she's been running off again, they looking to kill people like her you know." he kind of pauses feeling a lump in his throat "they killed Sapnaps partner Karl for being a traitor of not being born here. Stupid reason in all." his voice shifting an uncomfortable way. 

After what seems like hours of walking they walk up to the wooden fence and Phil pauses before walking to the bar. Techno follows hesitantly after him.
