"So this...friend of yours, what's his name again?" Armani asked, adjusting his coat as his coven all looked into the sea.

"His name is Carlisle, he's from the olympic coven. You met him once, I doubt you remember him," Nova replied, looking over the cliff into the sea as she tried to locate herself.

Nathaniel spoke up, eyes shifting from Nova to the ocean below them, "And we're travelling all the way to Washington by swimming instead of on foot?"

Nova loked up, smiling as she nodded, "Forks Washington to be exact. And yes, nomads could trace our scent and I would much rather save the fighting until we get there."

Autumn sighed, backing up as she spoke, "Tell us the details when we get there, enough with the chit chat" Autumn didn't give them a chance to reply as she launched herself from the cliff into the sea, disappearing in the middle of the waves.

Armani shook his head, following right after his sister and jumping to catch up to her. Nathaniel watched the twins swim, sighing exasperated, "You don't mind if I..?" Nova shook her head, waving him away as he jumped, adrenaline making him scream as he collided in the sea.

Nova watched him land safely into the water, turning to find Eira looking longingly back at their house in the mountains. Nova frowned a little, taking Eira's hand and squeezing it in comfort, "Worry not, my dear Eira, we will come back. This is home after all."

"I know, I'm just being silly," Eira smiled weakly as she turned to Nova. The girls watched their coven members swim as they seemed to follow the sun. Eira pulled Nova back, smiling teasingly, "Wanna jump first or should I do it?"

Nova smiled, "Go on, I'll be there in a minute." Eira nodded, smiling lightly as she jumped, submerging in the water and following after the rest.

Nova turned back to the house, sighing as she prepared to jump, "May we return soon, beloved home."

And Nova Mikaelson jumped.

The journey wasn't a long one. It had taken the Mikaelson coven until the first rays of sun to arrive by Washington borders.

They had left the sea, finding time to admire sunrise as their skin glistened with the new day. They began their journey by foot, their clothes drying as they ran to Seattle where they'd hunt.

The run had been uneventful, running and playing around with each other. It was something they enjoyed to do together. Running helped them bond, it helped them release energy as they rarely encountered trouble in Greece.

Nova watched her coven members push each other and bicker while also being aware of her surroundings. They eventually reached the line of Seattle, taking in the city.

"First time I've been here," Nathaniel spoke up, eyes taking in the city. He seemed to grimace before he spoke up again, "Pretty, but its not Greece. Its not home."

Nova nodded, "Indeed it isn't, but we'll be okay," She looked to the side, scanning her coven members. They were waiting for her next instructions. She smiled, "Let's eat before we go to Forks."

Hunting was something else they enjoyed doing together. They preferred to hunt in packs rather than alone, always enjoying to play with their own food.

And it wasn't any different today.

Their prey were always easy to spot. They always chose the drunken fools, the loud and obnoxious ones. Their plan set into motion once Eira jumped from the rooftop of a building, landing gracefully and making her way to the boys as the rest watched from their spots.

"Hello there, darling," Everyone could see Eira flirt with the boys. Reeling them in and charming them, "Come with me, I want to have some fun too." Eira pulled the guy into the direction of a dark alleyway.

Nova glared as she watched their prey signal his friends to follow, stomach feeling sick as she realized they would try to all share Eira. As soon as Eira reeled the boys in, bringing them close, Nova signaled for the twins to jump and block the exit. She watched as they did so effortlessly, not one sound to distract their meals.

Nova watched as the boys started to touch Eira, signaling Nathaniel to land near them, but stay hidden. Once Nova had insured her friend's safety, her and Eira made eye contact, Nova nodding as encouragement for her to proceed.

Eira pulled the boy closer, letting him kiss her neck. She grimaced slightly, keeping up the flirtatious smile towards the others. She got tired eventually, seeing Nathaniel fidget impatiently a few steps away. She wrapped a hand around his waist to keep him grounded, making him let out a disgusting moan. She smirked to the other boys before turning his neck to her and sinking her teeth in his flesh.

Eira moaned at the taste, making the twins chuckle as they watched her spectacle. She drank, enjoying the shocked and fearful expressions of the boys in front of her as they debated to run or watch the end. Soon enough, she finished her drink, letting the body drop in front of her and smiling widely to the boys, mouth and teeth stained with blood.

The boys began walking hurriedly away from Eira, stopping in their tracks when Armani and Autumn stepped out of the shadows. Armani clapped, "You've always been a messy eater sister. "

Nova could see as Eira smile, mouth dripping with blood, "I can't help it, you know I like my meals fresh." The twins circled the boys, blocking any possible exit.

Nathaniel rolled his eyes, "Let's stop playing with our food, my dear siblings." Autumn approached one of the boys, sinking her teeth into his flesh as she drank. The others followed, covering their victims mouths to prevent them from screaming as they fed.

Nova jumped, landing in front of them. Armani noticed her presence, sinking his teeth into his next victim but pushing him towards Nova. The boy quivered in fear, "Please...Please don't hurt me."

Nova cooed, cupping the boys face gently. She traced her finger down his neck, feeling his heart beating rapidly. She tsked, "Very well, I'll let you go but you have five seconds or I change my mind."

The boy's face changed into one of relief, stumbling back and making a run for it. Nova's coven members didn't react, knowing their sire enjoyed a good game. Nova counted to three before speeding towards the boy, jumping in front of him.

She smiled innocently, tackling the boy to the ground and latching her fangs on his neck.

Carlisle looked out the window, eyes scanning the outside world. The weather had begun to set in, the cold frosting the hood and windows of the cars. He remained calm and cautious, expecting his special guest to arrive soon.

He felt someone join him, acknowledging his son's presence by glancing at him briefly. "How many days until the snow sticks?" Edward sounded on edge.

"A week, maybe two if we want to be generous. They'll be here." Carlisle hummed, eyes picking up at a sound in the forest.

His eyes turned, picking up movement approaching their house. Edward tensed, eyes getting lost in thought.

"Multiple, I hear their thoughts and they're heading this way." A howl interrupted him and Carlisle smiled as he saw a familiar face.

"Our first witness is here."
