   Dark Night Clan

   I rowed as fast as I could back to my own clan. Why did Dark Shadow make me do that?

   I stopped rowing when I passed the Temple of Zios river. I nearly ran over a fox in the river, who seemed to be hunting for fish.

   "Sorry kid!" I said. She giggled.

   "It's fine, just go a little slower," she said.

   "What's your name kid?" I asked her.

   "Sunny," she answered. I got out of my boat, she seemed to be alone.

   "I'm Starlight. Why aren't you hunting the forest?" I asked. She hesitated.

   "That is classified information," she said. "Sorry."

   "That's fine. Are you alone?" I asked.

   "No, the other hunters are somewhere around here," she said, looking around. I then saw a bunch of wolves.

   "Well, it was nice to meet you. I best be on my way," I said, heading towards my boat.

   "Ok, nice meeting you too, bye!" She called.

   That girl seemed to be really nice, but my gut tells me she is new around here.

   As I arrived at my own clan, my heart beat got faster and faster.

   "Kits, where is Dark Shadow?" I asked.

   "In the throne room," she answered. I rushed upstairs.

   "Starlight," he greeted me. "Where is that kit?" My heart was pounding out my my chest.

   "What kit? I don't remember a kit," I said.

   "Don't play dumb with me Star, where is that kit?" He demanded.

   "First off, my name is Starlight, not Star. Second, I didn't get the kit," I said. Then I ran off to my room, shut the door behind me, and locked it.

   I flopped in my bed, out of breath, and had like two seconds before I heard Dark Shadow was outside my room.

   "Starlight when you get out here, you'll be in so much trouble!!!" He shouted.

   "Then I won't come out!" I yelled back.

   "By the name of Mira, Starlight get out here!!!" He yelled. By the name of Mira was an almost unforgivable saying. I gasped.

   "Dark Shadow!" I yelled at him in a scolding voice.

  "Sorry, sorry. Now, get out here so we can talk!" He said. I sighed.

   "Dark Shadow I don't want to!" I yelled back like a kit would. He banged his head on the door in frustration.

  "You will get out here, no comment," he said calmly. I growled, but eventually opened the door.

   "Starlight, why didn't you get the kit like I ordered you?!" He said, trying to stay calm.

   "The deputy of their clan caught me, sir," I said quietly.

   "Why didn't you run?" He seemed like he wanted to scream at me, but he didn't.

   "He has his bow aimed at, sir," I said.

   "And what did he look like?" He asked, seeking revenge.

   "I don't know sir, his whole body was in clothing, a mask, a bow, scarf and tail armor," I said. Dark Shadow sighed.

   "Smart. We will strike again, and this time, we send a hunter. Our head hunter. He will get the job done," Dark Shadow said. I gasped.
