As me and Jaden start walking down the street, I can tell that there is some awkwardness between us, I mean how could there not be... WAIT, why is their awkwardness for him and why is he so nervous , because I know why I am nervous and awkward, but why is he? Actually, I don't care, he is probably nervous because, he likes me? I don't know I don't want to turn this into another love story. Even if it's true, I still need need time to recover and the truth. 

        "So what middle school are you going to?" I ask, desperate for an answer, as I hold my breath. " I'm going to the local one,, that everyone else goes to, I'm really anxious to see everyone." I exhale, great that just proved my hypothesis. " Yeah well I bet everyone will look forward to seeing you and shocked, especially after you're little appearance today in the cafe." I continue "well, good thing it's only the beginning of October, so you really have'nt missed anything." He smiles. " which leads me to another question."   We stop walking and stand on the sidewalk in the nice, cool, fall breeze, as I take a deep breath and he waits for my question." Why now? And Why here? Why did you show up to the cafe today?"I wait as he thinks, what is there to think about. They're just questions and I just want the truth. Unless there is more to it-"well I told you my dad got transferred or wanted to start his own business, and here...because it brings back memories. The cafe today, I don't know just a coincidence, and you remember, I like poetry" he replies. I don't know if I believe him, but I got too much to think about. So I'll take it for now.  

          We start walking again but I have one last question" what was that about, in the cafe with Madelyn, and why did you choose to walk with me?" He looks nervous as if this is the last question and it's win or lose at this point. "She saw me and wanted to know what i was doing there and if it was for her." I start to frown." But, I said 'no' and told her the truth, because of my dad.""and I chose to walk with you, because I felt we needed to catch up, and..." He pauses thinking. I hope he doesn't say what I-" I missed you." Oh no, he said it. He looks at me as if he is going to, kiss me. I look in his eyes and he looks in mine, he leans in. At this point we are at my house and this would be sort of a good bye thing. He leans in closer, but then i hear someone's hand on the doorknob, Oh no! I grab him by his risk, and hide behind a tree with my finger on me lips, signaling him to be quiet. I hear my mom yell' Hello who is out here! You better get out or I'm calling the cops!" Then she slams the door. Jaden whispers " your mom?" I nod. "Well bye see ya tomorrows at school." he leans in for a kiss but I push him away and say " bye, see ya tomorrow." and look up in his eyes and stare. He smiles and grins at me and I smile, and wave goodbye. He turns around to walk and  I turn around and go climbing up the big tree, since my mom is probably suspicious and looking out the window to see who it is.Jaden turns around to say something and grins at me, then smiles. " you never change do you" he claims" you never know you don't know me." I say as if it's a challenge. Which I guess I shouldn't have because he says" ok then, would you like to go out and get pizza with me tomorrow." OH MAN, what do I do." I'll let you know tomorrow." I wave goodbye ad shut my bedroom window as i get in.
