Elonique's Pov

My eyes slowly opened as I took my time to adjust my eyes to the lighting.

I realized that I was in a hospital as I saw the iv attached to my hand.

My cuts were bandaged up and cleaned.

Not long after a doctor came in through the door.

"Hi Elonique my name is Dr. Rosette, how are you are feeling" she said with a small smile ,she had some pity on her face guessing by the condition of how I was at the moment.

"A little weak, but I'm better than before " I said with the best smile I could muster up.

"Hopefully you'll get to go home tomorrow morning, we're keeping you back for observation , your body is drained, we need to get you sorted out alright" she said with a better smile as this one came off as hopeful.

"Elo someone is here to see you" she said.

"Who?"I said ," what's your name dear" she said as she looked towards whoever was at the door.

" Her name is Diana" she said as she turned to me .

" Let her come " I said as I gestured to her.

Diana looked like she didn't catch any sleep as she had bags under her eyes.

"Hey Elo, how are you" she said with a sad smile.

" I'm not too bad , just slightly weak" I said looking up at her.

She drew a nearby chair in the corner towards my bed as she took a seat holding my hand.

" God I'm sorry Elo , this is all my fault if I hadn't left by your side he wouldn't even get the chance to come near you" she said as her voice wavered as her eyes were glossy.

" Hey Dee it's not your fault at all , wasn't your doing " I said as I stroked her hair as she rested her forehead on top of my hand.

It pained me to see my best friend sad , completely a mess as her mascara was now smeared and running down her cheeks.

"You look scary, wipe up that face of yours" I said jokingly.

She chuckled as she took the wipes out of her handbag carefully cleaning everything off her face as he didn't want any makeup to get caught up in her eye.

"I love you Elo and I don't want anything bad to ever happen to you again" she said as she stood up wrapping her arms around me in a hug.

" Aww,I love you too Dee, I wouldn't want anything bad to happen to you either " I said ,this girl had me emotional.

" Now enough with all this sappy behavior , tell me something juicy" I said excitedly.

" Well after you blacked out , Damien was the one to bring you here and Reyona she got a beating personal beating from me "she said smirking.

" Damien exploded on her completely ,she looked like a complete mess after, then he just left her on the ground as she cried", she said laughing as if remembering exactly what happened.

"For a bitch that acts all high and mighty ,she sure got any ugly ass cry" she chuckled as I did with her.

" So when are you getting discharged" she said.

" They said I can be discharged hopefully by tomorrow I'm only kept back for observation" I said.

" I told your mom what happened she was so heartbroken I could hear her voice cracking up as she spoke, she said she'll be back on the first plane tomorrow to come home" she said as she gave me a tight lipped smile.

Okay I whispered, she stayed for while till she had to go home.

I laid down as I watched the tv , trying to get in a comfortable position.

I was so focused on the movie , I did notice the door opening and in came you guessed right the person who broke me into pieces first.

Damien

He gently closed the doors as I turned my attention back to the tv.

"Elonique , I know you might not want to talk to me or ever see me again but I came to apologize" he said.

"I don't know if you will ever forgive me,I was so stupid putting some bitch over you , believing her over you, hell to even think you were the one making problems, when the problem was right in front of me all along, I should've run to your aid when I came into the bathroom that day."

"I easily went towards a two timing bitch , who I didn't even fucking know that well, " he said as he ran a hand through his strands of hair muttering " God what is wrong with me".

"Like the fool I was questioning you as a person instead of seeking out the real problem at hand" he continued.

"I knew I was wrong ,I did realize that but I was too much of a coward to approach you , everytime I wanted to, I cowered like a fool and I'm sorry" he said sadly as eyes looked teary looking up at me.

" I don't know if you will ever take me back but Elonique, you drive me crazy, I can't stop thinking about you ,you are like the air that I breathe, a reason for living I could even say , I miss you , everything about you is beautiful, I feel so empty without you, I'm a mess completely , I miss your voluptous body in my arms to hold, I miss seeing that gorgeous smile that tends to brighten my day whenever I come across it, Elonique you are one of kind to me,really special and I love you" he said holding my hands, while his form was hunched over as his head rested on my thighs staining them with his tears.

"Damien I don't know what to say I'm still hurt , I'm still in pain" I said as I ran my hands through his hair.

"I need some time to think, can you give me that" I said as I closed my eyes , as I felt the rush of tears stinging at the back of my eyes as I leaned my head back.

He looked up at me his tear stained cheeks , red nose and and eyes sad "sure take all the time you need" he said as he kissed my hand.

" Thank you" I whispered but he heard me, before he left he gave me one last look as he stood at the door before walking away.

Just like that I was left with a lot of stuff to think about.
