The second L's heartbeat slowed to a final stop, the members of the Task Force knew they lost the battle with Kira. L was the three greatest detectives in the world, and Kira killed him. There was no hope for the world to be rid of the infamous killer.

But as the lid of L's coffin was shut for the inevitable burial, an small seed of hope was planted in the heart of Mogi-san. He knew the truth, he knew a secret that was not to be shared with anyone, not until the war between Kira and the world was over.

The secret was that L was alive.
