Death Sentence.

Olympus was beautiful. Reagan stared in awe, her gaze unable to settle on just one thing. The streets were lit up by fires, smaller gods, goddesses, and Demigods roamed the streets. Music drifted from open windows, beautiful voices and lyres mixing together to create music.

Their Pegasi landed in a courtyard before a great hall, where Reagan was certain all of the gods had convened for the Winter Solstice. As they dismounted from the winged animals, Percy seemed to be having a conversation with the black Pegasus. Reagan wrung her hands out in front of her nervously, staring up at the large doors. As Percy, Thalia, and Annabeth materialized beside her, she found a wave of strength and courage that she didn't know she had. Percy was the first to reach out to the door, knuckles ready to knock, but the doors swung open on their own accord.

The gods all sat in a semicircle, various large beings taller then ten feet sat in differently decorated chairs that matched with their personalities. Zeus sat in the center, beard trimmed and striped suit looking immaculate. His eyes were on his daughter, Thalia, even as Grover kneeled at his feet like the Satyr was giving a report. As they entered the room, Grover looked in their direction.

"Guys!" he bleated, getting up from his position to trot over to them. He seemed to think differently, because he looked back at Zeus for permission. When the Lord of the Sky nodded in consent, a smile broke out on Grover's face and he ran over to his friends.

The noise of his hooves hitting the marble floor was the only noise in the entire room, and it seemed to take hours just for him to reach them. But once Grover did, he threw his arms around each one of them individually. Reagan hugged him back tightly and briefly, aware that Ares eyes were on her the entire time- that the gods were watching all of them.

"Percy!" Grover exclaimed as he grabbed his friend's arms tightly. "Bessie and I made it! But you have to stop them. You can't let them do it!"

"Do what?"

"Heroes," Artemis called their attention, and the tall Olympian slid out of her throne and transformed back into the twelve year old girl that calmly sauntered along the throne room amidst the gods. "The Council has been informed of your deeds. They know Mount Othrys is rising in the West. Of Atlas' attempt to escape. And they have learned of Kronos' growing army. We have voted to act."

The gods grumbled and shuffled in their thrones, but there were no protests.

"My brother and I shall hunt the most powerful and dangerous monsters, and defeat them before they join Kronos' cause," Artemis explained, looking in Apollo's direction. However, he was too preoccupied with his iPod as he changed to the next song, earbuds in both ears. But as they looked at him, he grinned and gave a big thumbs up. Artemis bit back any remark and continued, quickly looking away from her brother. "Lady Athena will check on the other Titan's to make sure they have not escaped." Athena sat there in her throne, dressed in an elegant silver dress. Her dark blonde hair was pinned up, beautiful grey eyes boring into Reagan. She looked all too much like Annabeth. "And Lord Poseidon has permission to use his full fury on the cruise ship The Princess Andromeda, to sink it to the bottom of the sea." Poseidon was sitting on what looked like a fishing chair you'd find on a boat, a fishing rod protruding from its hook. He was dressed in a Hawaiian shirt and Bermuda shorts wot sandals. The young girl known as Artemis smiled at them, lips curling up as she looked back at the immortals, daring to look each one of them dead in the face. "These heroes have done a great service to Olympus."

Reagan looked up, catching the knowing look of Aphrodite. The flawless goddess smiled, her eyes seeming to flicker to Annabeth then back to the Italian half-blood. The Demigod's face turned a dark red, her own eyes glancing to Annabeth furtively then away quickly. Suddenly she could feel Athena'a glowering gaze drilling into her very soul.

"I gotta say-" Apollo said very loudly as he pulled the earbuds out finally, "-these kids did good." He cleared he throat, about to recite another one of his infamous haikus, but Hermes interrupted him immediately.

"Yes, now all in favor of not disintegrating them?"

Hands rose tentatively.

"Wait a minute," Ares growled. "These two are dangerous," he said as he pointed a knife at Percy and Thalia. "It would be much easier, while we've got them here-"

"Ares," Poseidon interrupted. "They at worthy heroes. We will not blast my son to pieces."

"Nor my daughter," Zeus agreed in a grumble. "She has done well."

Athena sat forward in her throne and cleared her throat. "I am proud of my daughter as well. But the others are considerable security risks. Including your daughter, Ares."

Reagan felt her eyes widen at that. Kill them? She thought of the Hoover Dam, where she was certain it was Athena giving her advice. Now Athena wanted them all dead. Even Ares seemed surprised by her advice, his jaw dropping in disbelief. All Reagan thought about was how tragic of an ending this would be for all of them after everything they've been through.
