"So, would I be expected to quit my job? Leave my house?" I sigh and pull her back onto my lap and run my hands down her arms in a soothing motion.

"It's up to you, sweetheart. I'm not going to force you to do anything. Would I love for you to move into a house with me on pack grounds? Yes. Would I love for you to work at the pack school? Yes. But at the end of the day, I just want you to be happy." I say and try to convey my honesty as much as possible.

It would be difficult if she didn't conform to a standard beta female role. I may even have to give up my status as beta, but I'd rather have her so it doesn't matter. She sighs and looks so tired all of a sudden. It hurts to know I've brought so much stress into her life.

"Hey, hey look at me Calli." I say as I tip her chin up gently until she meets my eyes. "Nothing is going to change tonight. Or anytime soon for that matter. We can continue things the way we have been, spend time together. If that's ok." She nods and leans up to kiss me.

"I would like that. I'd like to visit your... pack if that's ok?" I smile brightly at her and nod.

"Of course. I would love that." I say honestly and she gives me a wicked smile.

"I've always wondered where you live." I chuckle.

"Well, now you know why I couldn't take you there."

"I just figured you were a disgusting pig and were too embarrassed to have me over." I feel my face heat up with a little bit of a blush and make a mental note to clean up a little before she comes over.

"Well, I'm not the best housekeeper, but there's definitely room for improvement I won't lie." She tips her head back and laughs, giving me the perfect opportunity to lean down and suck on her neck. The perfect place for me to mark her.
