Oh boy what was i a nervous being. Yesterday i spent almost my whole day with my mother giving me her final lessons of being a tsahik and what comes with it. But was it going to be useless or a gift in the future?

And i also have sensed something was changing in my body. But i did not know what, i could see my mother knew.. but she kept it a secret for herself.

But today was the day. I've trained for almost over a year for this, and i was kind of ready now. Eclips was just happening, when my mother came walking behind me at the beach.

My hair was dancing because of the strong wind that was up today, and the waves of the ocean were making my feet wet. When the last sun rays hit my face, my mother touched my shoulder.

"My beautiful daughter, are you really ready?" She asked. I signed, "yes mother, thank you for everything.." i answered and followed her to a tent that only warriors were allowed in.

This tent was very high up in the root trees and we did need a few minutes to finally get up there.

My father, sister, brother, aunt, nieces and... Kiri? Were sitting in a circle.
"Mother, why is kiri here?" I wispered to my mom, "she helped you, and she is kind with no harm in her." She answered. I saw kiri looking proudly at me.
My mother was definitely not lying, my legs were almost shivering from the amount of nervous i was.

I sat in the middle of the circle, with my new clothes my mother made me special for this occupation.

My mother grabbed her smoke jar and brushed it in my face and upper body, "dear eywa, may you lead this powerful woman into good and good health. May you lead her to listen to you wisely. May you lead her to be the next tsahik. May you listen to our wishes we just gave, thank you."
My mother and father said in sync.

To be honest the smoke stank a little, it had this rotten burned wood smell, but i knew it was for the good.

My mother grabbed another bowl and picked up a worm that are poisoning. These worm were very rare and hard to find in the root trees, this way they were only used for special leaders. This part will be the scariest, if i eat this worm, it would cause me to have a vision about eywa knows what. But the worm is not the only thing, my father would sting me with a VERY dangerous fish. These 2 combination  would bring me to the edge of death, i was already praying for eywa to please save me.
I opened my mouth slowly, making exces for the worm to be swallowed.
I swallowed.
It was tasteless, but now my father stood up and grabbed his own bowl with the fish. My father was right behind me, "eywa, may you please give my daughter her vision." Was the last thing i heard before the most stinging, painful, making you scream at the top of your lungs and the absolute worse pain you could imagine was in my neck.
I screamed it out, i tried to stay strong, but oh boy...
Before i could blink twice i was laying on the ground in a tiny ball, hissing it out of pain. I had no time to see the worried faces of my family.

Within seconds everything around me was spinning, weird figures were dancing and saying the weirdest things possible.
And after the most painful minute of my life, i saw light traveling around me. "Stay alive stay alive stay alive" was the only thought in my head at this moment.
Suddenly i saw a purple tree with hanging, glowing vines. The only surely visible people i saw were neytiri and jake sully.

Other green trees were surrounding us, but not root trees like i know them? I saw more people surrounding us in a circle, the bright sun shining thru the leaves of the trees. I turned around to see things better, and i saw one small baby being held up by some familiar hands. And just when i slowly realized what i was seeing, the image faded and came back with a different one. I saw fire, distruction of the village, and running people. It scared the shit out of me..
Apperantly i looked above myself and saw a teal big ikran flying my way, it's skin was just like my skin colour.
But the ikran did not stop, i flied straight my way with full speed, and just as it was about to hit me... I came back.

I sat up hyperventilating.
Quickly my father and kiri came to check on me, i survived.

My mother opened her eyes, "it is done, thank you eywa." She said.

"You are now tsahik, my daughter. I see you." My mother said as she gave a small kiss on my forehead, just where my third eye was.

I still was coming by from the pain, tears were running on my cheeks and my glowing spots on my body were at it's brightest i've ever seen.
"Thank you mother and great mother.." i whimpered.
