BONUS: The Dragon Heir

~OVER 3500 YEARS AGO~

"Come back here!" "No! Catch me! Catch me!" A small boy giggled as his mother chased him. "Caught ya! Now it's bed time little one." "Awe mama, I'm not tired!" "Of course you're not." She said, as she carried the boy to his room, softly humming as she walked.

"Now get comfy and I'll sing you a lullaby." She said, as she sat the boy on the bed. The boy dove under the covers. "Ready mama!" The boy's mother smiled softly at him, and started to sing.

"Where the north wind meets the sea, there's a river full of memory. Sleep, my darling, safe and sound, for in this river all is found."

"In her waters, deep and true, lay the answers and a path for you. Dive down deep into her sound, but not too far or you'll be drowned."

"Yes, she will sing to those who'll hear, and in her song, all magic flows. But can you brave what you most fear? Can you face what the river knows?"

"Where the north wind meets the sea, there's a mother full of memory. Come, my darling, homeward bound, when all is lost, then all is found."

A hand touch the ice holding a frozen knight. "Rest easy my child." the voice of the woman said. A guard entered the cave. "Stella, I'm sorry about your son." "You didn't know it would happen." Stella said, with a sad smile. "Captain! The queen has summoned you!" A second guard called. The captain took one last glance at Stella before walking out of the cave.

Stella's eyes glowed an icey blue. "Until, the time is safe again for dragons, you, my son, will stay safe in the ice." As she spoke, magic filled the air. She walked over to a chest and opened it. She took the snowflake hair clip from her hair and placed it in. "Rest my child. Your father and I will wait."

Stella disappeared a few hours later, never to be seen again.

~Present day~

"Thanks again dude." Krylluk said. "Hey it's no big deal man." Wels said with a smile. Kry and Wels had been working on clearing rocks and dust from the cave that they had found Wels in, taking breaks when ever Wels' PTSD felt like coming back. "Woah. Wels! Look at this!" Kry said, point to a wall covered in weird symbols. "I know that's not galatic, any idea what language it is?" Wels' eyes widen. "That's my mom's homeland writing." "Can you read it?"

"Where the north wind meets the sea, there's a river full of remembrance. Sleep, mine minion, safe and sound, for 'i this river all is found. 'i her waters, deep and true, lay the answers and a path for thou. Dive down deep into her sound, yet not too far or thou shall be drowned. Ay , she shall sing to those whom'll hark, and 'i her song, all magic flows. Yet may you hardy what thou most fear? may you brow what the river knows? where the north wind meets the sea, there's a mother full of remembrance. Join, mine minion, homeward bound, when all is lost, then all is found." Wels read. "What do you think it means?" "It's just a lullabye. My mom used to sing it to me all the time when I refused to go to bed." Wels said. Kry glance down.

"That is not a rock." He said. Wels looked at him in confusion. Kry knelt down and open a chest. "Woah." Wels' eyes widen. He walked over and grabbed the snowflake clip. "Wels?" "This was my mom's." "Woah." Wels fell to his knees. "You doing okay?" "I feel overwhelmed." "How about you head out? Don't want you panicing on me." Kry said helping Wels up. "See you later Kry." Wels mumbled.

That night Wels couldn't sleep, but not because of memories, but a voice. "Ah, ah, ah." The voice sang. Wels sat up in bed. "I can hear you but I won't." Wels sang, getting up out of bed, "Some look for trouble while others don't." Wels walked over to the wall, where pictures of his current family were, "There's a thousand reasons I should go about my day, and ignore your whispers which I wish would go away." "Ah, ah, ah." The voice sang, to which Wels rolled his eyes but sang back, "Oh, whoa."

"You're not a voice, you're just a ringing in my ear." Wels sang as he stepped into the hallway, "And if I heard you, which I don't, I'm spoken for I fear. Everyone I've ever loved is here within these walls." Wels walked over to the balcony on the apartment and walked out on to it, "I'm sorry, secret siren, but I'm blocking out your calls. I've had my adventure, I don't need something new, I'm afraid of what I'm risking if I follow you!" Snow swirled around him blocking his sight.

"Into the unknown!" Wels glanced around and saw nothing but trees and forest, "Into the unknown! Into the unknown!" "Oh, oh" The voice called.

"What do you want? 'Cause you've been keeping me awake. Are you here to distract me so I make a big mistake? Or are you someone out there who's a little bit like me? Who knows deep down I'm not where I'm meant to be?" Wels looked at his side, where a huge birthmark that looked like a dragon was, "Every day's a little harder as I feel my power grow." He looked down at his hands and made a little bit of ice appear, "Don't you know there's part of me that longs to go," The wind took the ice and swirled around him before heading. Wels chased it.

"Into the unknown!" He sang out as he chased his magic, "Into the unknown! Into the unknown!" "Oh, oh!" The voice sang only stronger. "Whoa!" Wels sang back.

"Are you out there? Do you know me? Can you feel me? Can you show me?"

"Oh!" "Ah!" "Oh!" Wels sang as he reached a cliff. "Ah!" "Oh!" Wels launched ice before he fell off the cliff. "Ah!" "Oh!" "Ah!" "Oh!" "Ah!" "Oh!"

"Where are you going?" Wels stood at the edge of the ice, reaching out for the wind. "Don't leave me alone! How do I follow you, into the unknown?" Wels sang out. In the sky a large snowflake appeared. Wels knew what he had to do.

"Hang on, let me get this straight. You heard a weird voice last night, and your following it?" Iskall asked the next morning. "Pretty much." Wels said. "I don't know Wels." Cub said, "Shouldn't you wait till Jevin and Biffa get back?" "They will be gone till the end of next week." Wels said. "Just come back alive." Kry said, "I'm not explaining why your dead to your husbands." "I'll come back." Wels said, before running off.

Wels was back in the woods he was in the night before, and there were snowflakes carved into the trees. Wels chose to not question where they came from(A/N: They came from a plot hole).

It took about Wels about a day to arrive at the mountains north of the city. But he wasn't stopping so he took off his hoodie, tied it around his waist and started to climb.

Soon he reached a flat area, covered in Ice Wood Trees, a rare tree that had many had thought died out years ago. Wels started to walk through the forest, until his eyes landed on a path way. He started to follow it, but not on it, next to it. Untill he got stuck on a tree, ripping his shirt, making his birthmark visible. He glanced around, and his eyes went wide when he saw it.

Wels took a deep breath and started to walk toward the castle. "Every inch of me is trembling." Wels sang, "But not from the cold. Something is familiar like a dream I can reach but not quite hold." Wels entered the castle. "I can sense you there like a friend I've always known. I'm arriving, and it feels like I am home."

"I have always been a fortress. Cold secrets deep inside, you have secrets, too. But you don't have to hide."

"Show yourself." A glowing light covered Wels, and when it cleared the outfit Wels was wear had completely changed(A/N: It will be shown at the end of this). "I'm dying to meet you." Wels looked at the outfit with confusion clear on his face, but he kept singing, "Show yourself. It's your turn, are you the one I've been looking for all of my life? Show yourself. I'm ready to learn."

"Ah ah ah ah!" Wels called out. One of halls lit up. "Ah ah ah ah ah!" The voice called back. Wels took off after the voice.

"I've never felt so certain! All my life I've been torn! But I'm here for a reason. Could it be the reason I was born? I have always been so different. Normal rules did not apply! Is this the day?Are you the way? I finally find out why?" Wels sang out as he launched himself over a ravine.

"Show yourself!" Wels sang out as he landed, and walked toward a dark entry way. "I'm no longer trembling! Here I am! I've come so far! You are the answer I've waited for, all of my life! Oh, show yourself! Let me see who you are!" Wels  sang out as he entered the door was and walked to the middle of the room.

"Come to me now. Open your door. Don't make me wait. One moment more. Oh, come to me now! Open your door! Don't make me wait! One moment more!" Wels sang out. Light up the room.

"Where the north wind meets the sea." A male voice sang out as Wels looked around the room to see his mom with a man. "Ah ah ah ah!" A female's voice sang.

"There's a river." "Ah ah ah ah." "Full of memory." "Come, my darling," Wels turned around to see him mother stand there with the man, who looked like him, "homeward bound!"

"I am found!" Wels sang launching himself into his mother's arms, as dragon wings, a tail, and horns appeared, and his skin turned a cool blue.

"Show yourself!" The pair sang. "Step into your power!" The male sang as he placed a crown on Wels' head. "Throw yourself into something new." His mother sang as she placed a necklace around his neck.

"You are the one you've been waiting for all of your life!" His mother sang. "All of my life!" Wels sang, with tears in his eyes.

"Oh, show yourself!" Wels sang, as he flew up, "Ah ah ah! Ah ah ah! Ah ah ah!"

~Meanwhile~

The hermits were hang out at Project Kingdom Craft, mainly at the cave that they found Wels in. Well almost everyone, Doc, Ren, Zed, and Tango were hang out outside the cave, when Doc's robotic eye locked on to a red dragon tail. "Magic hermits!" Doc called down the cave, as Zed and Ren put up a sheild, "We've got company!" Cleo, Jevin, Scar, and Grian came up running. "What's up?" Scar asked. "Dragons." Doc said. "You better believe it!" They heard a voice snap. The hermits looked over to see a male walking over. "I'm the dragon alpha, Fang." "I thought that dragons had a a king?" Ren asked. "Not anymore, the king died years ago, and the knight to blame is in that cave!"

Wels had teleported back to the dig site to see the large group of dragons there, ready to attack his freinds and his family. "HEY!"

Everyone looked up to see a shadowy figure standing. "They say we are what we are, but we don't have to be." The figure sang. "I'm bad behavior but I do it in the best way. I'll be the watcher (watcher) of the eternal flame, I'll be the guard dog of all your favorite dreams, I am the sand in the bottom half of the hourglass (glass, glass)."

"I try to picture me without you but I can't." The shadowy figure transformer as they jumped from the shadow, it was Wels' in his dragon form. "'Cause we could be immortals, immortals!" The dragons back off from the hermits, minus Fang. "Just not for long, for long! And live with me forever now! You pull the blackout curtains down! Just not for long, for long! We could be immor- immortals! Immor- immortals! Immor- immortals! Immor- immortals!"

Wels smiled at Fang, then said, "You aren't the leader of the dragons. I am." Fang growled before leaping at Wels.

"Sometimes the only pay off for having any faith, is when it's tested again and again everyday!" Wels sang as he dodged the attacks, "I'm still comparing your past to my future! It might be your wound but they're my sutures! I am the sand in the bottom half of the hourglass (glass, glass)!"

The necklace and crown appeared on Wels' neck as he started to fire ice at Fang. "I try to picture me without you but I can't! 'Cause we could be immortals, immortals! Just not for long, for long! And live with me forever now! You pull the blackout curtains down! Just not for long, for long! We could be immor- immortals! Immor- immortals!" A bright light covered Wels.

"And live with me forever now, and pull the blackout curtains down!" A huge ice blue dragon appeared in Wels' place, "We could be immortals, immortals! Just not for long, for long! We could be immor- immortals! Immor- immortals! Immor- immortals! Immor- immortals!"

Fang was trapped in an ice block. Wels turned back to human. "Get rid of him. Then back into hiding with you all." Wels said in dragon. The dragons nodded, before grabbing the frozen male, and flying off.

Zed and Ren lowered the shield. "Dude." Wels turned around only to get knock over by Jevin. "AHH!" "When did you learn that?!" Ren asked. "It was the voice." Wels said.
